Great Experience, first time to this location. It was Great considering the Pandemic

This visit the service was better than the food and cleanliness. We were lured in with $20 off $40 or more -- not hard to do. A small salad with chicken, a side of broccoli and 1 soft drink was $52; $32 + tip out the door -- we thought we'd take some away but, the portions seemed smaller than usual. Took it as a sign of the times -- business trying to stay afloat.

I wish they set up the patio dining a little better.

The food is conditioned for a larger parties and are not for parties of two and the prices reflect that. Way way overpriced. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Great place to eat if you are in a group. Service is great. Only issue is the parking. They charge you to have your car park few feet. Fatburger parking(right next to their valet parking) is free.

I made a reservation to celebrate my 30th birthday with my family. I work in the hospitality/service industry and it it rate that I get to eat out with my family to celebrate a special occasion. I did place in the notes of my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. The birthday celebration notated in the reservation I made was

Our server was not very attentive to my family during our dining experience. We discussed ordering a second bottle of wine after finishing our first bottle we ordered, but unfortunately our server did not check on us after our food was served. We were done with our meal when she finally came to see how we were doing and we were ready for the check and to head home. Our server touched our table a total of 5 times at the most during our entire dining experience. I love the food at a Bucca di Beppo, but was extremely disappointed in their service and unfortunately I have to say their lack of service put a huge negative feeling on my birthday dinner.

We were seated near the front door which was extremely cold. One of our appetizers didn’t arrive until after we started getting our dinner. We had to ask for a refill of water several times before we actually got the refill. We never got the Mariners sauce with our Calamari.

I come here quite often with my family and this was by far the worst service.

It’s a fun place w good food. We went on a very crowded night but the staff was still attentive and pleasant. Everyone worked as a team filling in for each other. We had stuffed shells and lasagna AND the apple Gorgonzola salad all SMALL and designed to feed 3- we’re two people...plenty leftover, hahaha. It was excellent! We will be back!

Hadn’t been to Buca in a year or so, always enjoy the visit, however I was disappoint this time. The prices are much higher, even though we did take food home-as the menu advises. The pizza was very greasy, pasta bland and changes have been made to my favorite 1800 salad now called a “Chopped Antipasto”, which is not chopped at all and missing parts like garbanzo beans. For 4 of us the bill was $160 with tax and tip. We did get a bottle of house Chianti as well, but for that price and Medea food it’s less than a bargain for a family weeknight supper. Think I’ll save my next visit, if at all, for a larger party.

I will say that our server Bradley/Brandon was fantastic. He is a fantastic server and I thank him for his hard work for our table. Too bad he’s not the chef and could bring a little more excitement to the food.

Large portions. Service was good except the pizza we ordered came out very late. Was easy to make the reservations even though we did it kind of late. Parking is only valet. We ate at 5:00 pm so it wasn’t too crowded yet. When we started dinner, the section we were in was empty. By the time we left, the whole room was full. Popular place. They sang to me for my birthday and I received a scoop of ice cream.

Waitress came out twice to apologize for slow service saying “kitchen is very busy.”

Really horrendous service. If we didn’t cancel our entree orders, we would have been at the restaurant for 3+ hours. My niece was starving and ordered butter noodles but that never came out. After waiting 2 hours for it, we had to leave and ask to cancel our remaining items that hadn’t arrived. I couldn’t believe the service and speed at the restaurant. It was a disappointing experience with my immediate and extended family. I would not recommend this restaurant for a holiday dinner. The quality of the food and service has greatly deteriorated over the years.

Good selection of shareable salads. The supremo pizza has a variety of items, but the crust is thin, and they tend to fall off easily. We had a pasta dish with a cream sauce and chicken that was very satisfying. Servers are quite busy, and not seen too often, but are pleasant.

Went with a couple of friends after a great day out together. We all shared the chicken, sausage, and meatballs. After dinner (since there was four of us) we had the dessert platter and it worked out perfectly. Service was friendly and warm. Will be back again if in the area.

Meal is quality & good. Business meal with large group. Server is overwhelmed with other similar 6-8 people per group, therefore the service was lagging. The waitress did her best to service her section, up to 6 groups at 1 time. My blame is the management for not shifting help to area that is needed most. I still recommend for family get together & for festive Italian meals.

Food was great and service was great! My daughter celebrated her birthday with family. We had a very nice time.

We went to celebrated my husband’s Birthday. We were a party of 12 and our server neglected us more than half of the time we were there we had to be getting up to get our own stuff not to mention that the chicken on the chicken Alfredo tasted old. We loved Buca but I’m pretty sure that was our last time there their service has really gone down

Buca in general is just going down hill. The food is never fresh any more. Our Chicken Limone was about as hard and rubbery as can be with little to no flavor. Green beans are not green and crisp any more. Spinach & artichoke dip was literally dry. Our apple gorgonzola salad barely had apples in it. This is not the first time we have been disappointed with Buca and it use to be one of our favorite Italian chains. The Grove location went downhill first and we moved to going to redondo beach and now it is showing signs of the same thing. Not fresh food. Very little crowd in what should be busy weekend nights and it is just expensive for what you are getting. We looked at each other tonight and said at the same time, "I think we are done with Buca." Maggianos will likely take its place for us.

Went for my mom's birthday and we had a very nice time. Our server was very nice and engaging; he was nice enough to give us birthday ice cream.

Our waiter was really great. I can’t remember his name but he just moved to CA from Pittsburg.

Celebrated my sons birthday and had a wonderful time...the food/service was great!

The staff was nice, the was good, really big portions, we definitely ordered too much food. The bar tender had all liquors and could make any drink. Great wine selection. Bar was a little pricey. Overall I would do it again. My family enjoyed our time.

There was a large party there that was extreeemely loud and screaming. It was very stressful. Our seats were full of bread crumbs and our table dusty. The food was barely warm. The server poor guy was running around like crazy. His bad service wasn’t his fault. He was clearly overwhelmed. It wasn’t a good experience. I would give it a second chance when they aren’t so busy

Great value does the family. Large portions. Good food

The food and service was very good. However, the hostess sat 2 women with a very young (1-2 years old) at the next table who never stopped shouting making it next to impossible to hold a conversation. The mother ignored the child which made her even more difficult and no one from the restaurant offered to assist in any way. It turned a $100+ meal into an indelible memory of avoiding Buca di Beppo in our future.

celebrated my birthday, everyone was very happy with great food and service and enjoyed each other's company.

Food was great, and service was ideal.

We had a yummy dinner here for or 14 year old grandsons birthday. Food was just perfect. Pasta is all the kids want, and it was tasty for adults too. Good service also.

Buca worked because we had 18 people but there was no air conditioning during a very hot evening. Nothing like being hot and sticky to eat! Yuck!

We had a great young waiter who did his best with the 18 people. They should have had two people assigned. A waiter and a back up.

The portions are larger than listed. A 3 person dish can easily feed 4-6. We over ordered because of this. The food was good even the leftovers.

Huge portions of good American-Italian food.
Parking is a mystery: why is there only valet parking when there are 100+ free spots???

Way over priced for the quality of food. Reason for dining @ Buca di Beppo to use gift cards that had been in my drawer forever.
