Food was good, however they mixed up the steaks - my wife's Ribeye was originally presented as blue when we had ordered medium, my Fillet was ordered as blue but delivered as medium - this was, however put right without too much fuss.
Cold Beer hit the spot.
"Kids eat free" on Sunday was a bit misleading - only the main course is free, the icecream was chargable.
Best steak around, food great. Unfortunately a large noisy party sat next to us spoilt the evening. Not the restaurants fault but meant we had to rush our meal to get out of there which was a shame
We love good steak and the rivets steak we all had was excellent!
We went to Buenos Aires steakhouse for the anniversary of our engagement and were pleased to find that there was a special offer on Tuesdays of two main courses for the price of one if starters and mains are ordered. The friendly waitress told us about the deal as we were seated so we decided to both go for the fillet steak. My fiancé chose the calamari to start while I had the prawns in white wine and garlic. Both starters were delicious. Our steaks were perfectly cooked to order and the chips were exactly right (I had chunky chips but fries are also available). I had a lovely gin cocktail reminiscent of Parma violets but it was a little on the small side for over £9. A service charge was added to our bill but we were asked if we were happy to pay it before the card payment was taken (we were). The restaurant was very busy at the time we were there - 6.45 - 8.00 pm but service was very speedy and courteous. Word had clearly got out about the two for one offer which is well worth taking advantage of. I would recommend this restaurant for a date or meal with friends.
The food was excellent and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant did close at 10.30 on a Saturday night, which was a shame because the cocktails and the wine list are both excellent and I would have enjoyed another hour at the bar or the table with a good drink. On the whole it is a great restaurant thought and we both had the fillet steaks with chimichurri sauce which were out of this world. I used to travel to Argentina a lot and the restaurant brought back lots of happy memories. It is not the cheapest restaurant in town but is well worth a visit.
Excellent food which fully met our expectations, the chocolate tort was simply amazing. Service was tip top and could not be faulted
Superb fillet steak and excellent mushrooms - highly recommended
We generally enjoy Buenos Aires and this was no exception. A busy Friday night, and sat upstairs which has little ambiance and high noise when full. Downstairs is better. We all had steaks, which were very good with ribeye and sirloin the best, but cooked slightly less than we asked for. Beef Empanada starter was exceptional taste, but two is a big starter ahead of a steak, we shared it. Wine special good value and service friendly but a bit slow.
Very good steakhouse.
Food was lovely , service was efficient and not fussy.
Ate here with four others. Choose to eat early due to other commitments so was more of a late lunch. Not busy but noticed later in the evening it was full. Food was amazing.
Had empanadas, black pudding (so good) and calamari for starters.
We then shared the four steaks board with fries. Was no disappointed great way to try what this restaurant is set up for. Everything cook perfectly and tasted delicious.
The restaurant was rather dark and the tables close together. I had the burger and chips which was average compared to other eateries and my partner had the £10 steak and chips. The steak was tasty but chewy he said. Our waiter was extremely pleasant. The ladies toilets were rather dangerous with an unmarked step in front of them which I fell down coming out! Nice for yougsters maybe but we won't be returning I am afraid......
I can only assume the Chips were from Frozen. Steak was OK cooked well, but for £100 for two of us, this was not at the standard of food I was expecting. Overpriced.
Excellent food best steak in years would totally recommend to friends
A very nice restaurant for meat lovers. We have the steak taster platter which was great, well cooked as we liked it and very tasty. The only let down was being sat by the toilet and kitchen entrance which was not great for a date night.
Excellent food as always, we attended for my Dad's birthday and we had a wonderful time! The staff were friendly and helpful as my mum is quite fussy over her food due to her medication. They had a great deal on wines, 1/2 price for a bottle on the monday night. Would dine there every day if i could!
Superb; if it wasn't quite so expensive, it would be the personification of perfection.
We have visited this restaurant on a few occasions now and we have never been disappointed. Not the cheapest place in town for a steak but by far the very best quality, therefore worth every penny. They have special offers throughout the week which make dining here very affordable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I had heard that this place is really expensive and not worth the value but was really pleasantly surprised as the food was delicious and worth every penny. The mushrooms side order were veey tasty. Obviously it is a place for pure meat eaters and we had medium rare steaks...which were cooked perfectly and was a change from other establishments were medium rare usually means medium and overcooked! Definitely recommend but do book as it was packed on a Tuesday evening.
Good food, good staff and really good place. The best restaurant in Horsham.
Food is consistently good. Waiter was lovely. Enjoyable meal.
I brought my partner and my son here on Wednesday evening to celebrate my partner's upcoming birthday! We both had the empalade starter with the rump steaks for our mains, my son had the calamari, with burger mains, all of us had the pancakes for dessert! The empalades were delicious but could have been better with a sauce to complement them. The steaks were devine, the best I've had in a long time! I didn't enjoy the pancakes, I only chose them as I didn't like the other options on the set menu! When our server came to take our order, he mentioned about it being someone's birthday, ( I had mentioned it in the "message box" when booking) so we thought that maybe they would bring a little cake or something with a candle in it, but they didn't! ( This would have been a nice touch!! Or do you have to request one when booking, as the people on the table next to us had one brought out). Overall we were very pleased with the meal (a " Wednesday Special" which at £19.50 for 3 courses including a drink each) was excellent value for money, I totally recommend coming here!
This was our second visit and we really enjoyed it. There is something for everyone, and that can be a challenge with a 6 year old fussy eater and an 8 year old who doesn't like the usual 'kids menu' fare. Really lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful service at good prices. My burger was a little over done but apart from that it was great.
It was wonderful. The staff were helpful & relaxed. They knew the menu & wine list but were not snooty about it. The food was gorgeous. It’s quite pricey, but you get what you pay for.
I booked the restaurant for a family get together to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The restaurant was busy for a lunchtime on Sunday and our drinks/ food orders were taken promptly. Our starters took a while to arrive, but this was due to other tables receiving their food and all staff were busy working so we couldn’t complain. The food was excellent, the empanadas (beef and ham & cheese) were well cooked and crispy on the outside - everyone enjoyed most having not had them before.
Four of us had steak, all cooked to different requirements and each was cooked as requested and more than filled our empty stomachs. The other main we had was the chicken spatchcock, which was also delicious (having stolen some from my daughters plate while she wasn’t looking!).
Overall the food was high quality, cooked perfectly and made for a really enjoyable lunch. We will definitely be back for more steak soon.
Can't fault the meal nor service. Food was amazing...love a place that knows how to cook a steak properly. Staff were feiendly and attentive without being too intrusive. A little noisy but it was Christmas so not an issue. I would definitely recommend dining here and will be back again!
The food as always was excellent and great value as it is so tasty. Disappointed with the price of drinks. A single spirit and mixer was £7 which was a little steep. I don’t know whether a mistake was made and they charged us for doubles but it was definitely only a single. I do love this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint.
The lomo steak was beautifully cooked and having the choice of sweet potato fries was lovely.
Had been once before and have been again since for lunch. The food is excellent. Have been downstairs each time so the ambience is ok but when we were in for lunch today there was a big party so we couldn't really talk between ourselves.
The steaks were delicious and the staff were attentive. Would recommend
Booked this as a birthday celebration meal. Fantastic food and friendly staff. Can't wait to go again.
Lovely food, best steak I've had in a long time! Quite noisy though so difficult to have conversation with friends!
We have visited this restaurant on several occasions, so not a surprise we chose for our anniversary. We did not choose a Tuesday for it's specials 2for1 main course, it just happened to be that our anniversary was on that day, so a nice surprise. However, the sauces that came with both our starters and main meal were so salty, we couldn't eat much of it. Sadly, for the first time ever, the steaks were so disappointing, that we had to cut off quite a bit of gristle. When I mentioned both these issues to the waitress, it was barley acknowledged. We were both so disappointed as we have always received great 'melt in the mouth' steaks and good service. If this was because of the 'specials' day and it was an inferior product, we will not be returning on any of there special days again!
Lovely food etc, if a little pricey. But great for a special occasion.
Delicious cuts of beef and great staff. Will return
The waiter that served us ask a few times what our order was. We eventually pointed to it on the menu. Even then it was still wrong. The steak was not as tender as I would have liked. The food came out slightly warm I would have enjoyed it a bit hotter. I won't go back.
I go to Buenos Aires often with my family, the food is always quick and tasty coupled with good service. My 5 year daughter loves the squid, pasta and sweet potato fries and I've tried good steaks, burgers and some other different alternatives! Recommend to anyone
Steak was top notch. Juicy tender and perfectly m/r. The morcilla (black pudding) starter was divine also as was flan dessert. Only negative was portion size of fries. Way too small😞. My wife’s a vegetarian and selection was good and pasta could’ve been from an Italian restaurant was that good! 👍👍
Nice atmosphere, great and tasting food. Authentic Argentinian
From booking to leaving outstanding. Food brilliant.
First restaurant where I could cut a steak with a normal knife.
Service very good, people couldn't do enough for you.
Food lovely. Portion size for the money = 3star
