Buenos Aires Argentine Steakhouse - Horsham
We throughly enjoyed our meal we had the rib eye steak which was delicious. My wife and I both had dessert too, both of which were very tasty. We were sat upstairs and it was particularly noisy and we did struggle to hear ourselves. The service was very good. Our only criticism would be that it would have been better if the tables set for two upstairs were placed so you could look down into the room as oppose to looking at the wall opposite. Apart from that we throughly enjoyed our experience.
Steaks are out of this world! Staff are very friendly. Overall experience first class!
The service was absolutely amazing and the food was perfect, as always. We had a really lovely time!!
table ready and waiting, good ambience
The food was amazing, will definitely return
My son who had previously visited the Reigate one was impressed the food was exactly the same
Great steaks, good service and good selection of wines.
Great birthday meal with family, had the calamari for starter..best starter in along time :) And for main the steak sampler also fantastic. Service was very quick although Friday night.
Excellent evening outing - steaks outstandingly good!
The starters were far too small for the cost. Steaks were cooked as ordered
Food was excellent again, and while quality/politeness of service was great, it did feel somewhat rushed to previous experience. This was a not that busy Saturday night.
Main course turned up straight after starter with no break, and had it not been for us requesting a break I think desert would have been the same. For the best part of a £150 spend for two, a little more time would have been nice. Hopefully this is a one off.
The restaurant was exceptional , how ever open table were very poor and I wish they would stop pestering me with there bloody adverts and questions every 2 mins .somebody take me off there list NOW please , I wish to have no contact with them again . STOP
The recommendation to eat there would be based on the steaks alone. They were delicious. Cooked exactly as we asked and the sides were also pretty good too.
The downsides...It was really noisy in there which made it difficult to hear each other talk.
There was also a strange kitchen/cleaning smell wafting around us which took away from the food (we were sat downstairs, so maybe upstairs was different).
And I'm very sorry to say, as a dessert lover, the desserts were a big disappointment. We had the pancakes with dulce de leche, the chocolate churros and the banoffee 'pie'. The pancakes were rather soggy and the dulce de leche was really not very nice at all. The churros nearly burnt my poor nephew's mouth and were average to middling in taste. The banoffee pie tasted like angel delight to me, though my brother assures me the bananas/base layer were tasty.
I was so disappointed (it was my birthday treat) as I had such high hopes for it.
If you just want steaks go for it, but our recommendation is to avoid the desserts.
Wonderful food and service, would def recommend to all my family and friends.
The best steak in the area. The problem is that we can’t eat steak anywhere else because it doesn’t compare. Great simple ingredients, cooked very well.
Efficient, knowledgeable service. A real family favourite.
Sadly the Creamed corn was not available. We were told that this was because they could not estimate how much they would use in a night so they did not bother to prepare any at ask' in case they ran out!!!!! Other than that very strange rain for not offering my favourite side, the good was, and always is, excellent.
The four sample steaks were an excellent choice and the cheapest red wine was very pleasant quaffing wine. The sizes were more than adequate for two people.
The starters were average with one where I was expecting some Brazilian twist on cheese and tomato caprese turned out to be chips with two small dipping sauces.
The desserts were good.
The overall price at £120 for two was the top end of the price / value chain
The service was excellent and the ambiance was good
Great food, and good quality steaks. Would definitely return.
Me and my partner we're sitting at the back right hand of the very nice restaurant , but the metal wall was wonky and kept on banging arms against it..
Needs sorting, apart from that all good👌
Amazing food. Friendly staff. Definitely would return and recommend to friends.
Steaks are very good. Starters are a bit boring. Menu needs to be livened up a bit - and how about doing some specials? Also - very empty for a Friday night, which isn't a great sign. I think OpenTable has a problem, like it doesn't know how many tables you have because it said I could book at 8pm but the restaurant was all but empty between 7:30 and 9pm. Shame - I hope you get it resolved because you're one of the few remaining decent restaurants in Horsham.
The Chicken Millanese was slighty over cooked otherwise all good.
My son chose to celebrate his 18th birthday here after hearing good reviews. The service was excellent, the food delicious. Thank you.
We asked for a quiet table and this was provided, the staff were attentive and the steak taster platters were excellent
Great service and lovely food. Lots of choice for our vegetarian relative. Slightly prefer sitting upstairs but downstairs has a nice atmosphere too
Fantastic food! Great steaks and the mashed potato was perfect! The wine list is extensive and there is something for everyone :D Will definitely come back!
High quality steaks with genuine elements of Argentina food and wine on the menu. It’s a little soulless, particularly if you are not in the main restaurant area. We had a family meal and there was a large group in which meant it was hard to hear each other as the noise level rose. However great food and service.
This is the second time i have visited the Buenos Aires in Horsham. As before the service was prompt & friendly. The starter & main arrived as per you would expect & we weren't left for too long between courses. Meat was melt in the mouth & worth the price.
Only thing that let the experience down was the pudding - my wife & i both ordered the Banoffee pie (in a glass??) & it wasn't worth the £5.75 per serving.
There was a light dusting of digestive biscuit in the bottom, maybe 4 slivers of banana & the biggest dollop of what can only be described as Angel Delight (tasted like an overly sweet butterscotch) & teeny tiny caramel nugget on top. Should've gone with my gut & had the sorbet!!
If you're going to serve a pudding - pls serve it in a pudding bowl, i'm sure there's some very stylish ones out there. Whist you're at it - STOP SERVING FOOD ON A SLATE!!!
Don't get me wrong, we will certainly go back as the meat is 1st class.
I went to the restaurant with my wife and we had a great meal. The food was really good quality, the staff were excellent in their attention and service and the restaurant had a great ambience. We are not regular restaurant goers so when we do go to a restaurant we are hoping for a great experience and that's what we got.
Really enjoyed our meal here. The service from all staff (especially Silvia) was excellent and the food (and cocktails) were delicious! Would definitely recommend!
Excellent food and great service. Our waitress, Bogda, was very attentive but it was the head waitress, Silvia, who made the evening. She overheard us mentioning that it was my birthday and, at the end of the meal, brought a small portion of ice cream with a birthday candle to the table. Great, unsolicited piece of customer service.
Excellent save for the salad which was dull and uninteresting and had few ingredients apart from lettuce.
This was our 2nd visit and we were not dissapointed! Warm welcome from staff, lovely table and nice ambiance. Starters, mains were excellent. Gorgeously cooked steaks! And the wine list are amazing! It was my fiancee's birthday and the waitress brought our pudding with a candle. Such a lovely touch, he was so surprised. :D We had a beautiful evening thanks to you all. We will be back soon.
Beautifully cooked steak, we had a lovely evening. Staff were lovely too
Fantastic food & on a Tuesday, it 2 for 1 on Starters & Mains. Great value & the service is excellent. We have been there 3 times in the last 2 months. Buenos Aires Argentine Steak House is our new favourite restaurant!!!
1st time at this restaurant and not disappointed.Service was good with attentive staff who were helpful and friendly.Steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly.
Had the empanadas for starter which were equally as good.
Would recommend and look forward to seeing you again soon 😀
Just an outstanding meal and experience as per usual. Have been many times and have never had a bad meal. The place is excellent.
That’s a good steak! The only thing I can’t understand is how it’s taken me so long to find this place.
Steaks were perfect. Our table had four steaks varying from blue to well done, all the steaks came out together.
Service was crap. In order to get service for dessert, we practically had to stand up and wave our arms around!
Lovely atmosphere, tasty food and friendly service.
Great food and wine
Went looking for a really good steakhouse in the area as finding a good steak and a chef that can cook them well is a rare thing.
This restaurant has great meat selections and they are cooked perfectly. The sweet potato fries are also nicely cooked.
They aren’t cheap but you get what you pay for which is a steak you hugely enjoy and will remember for some time.
