Outstanding on all levels, delicious food cooked perfectly. Friendly staff and a lovely restaurant. Really hope they survive the lockdown
Best steak house for miles. Will definitely visit again after lock down.
The food was good overall. I felt the empanada starter was tasty but a bit dry and some dressing on the salad would have helped with this.
My rib eye steak melted in my mouth and the chips were perfect. I had a sweetcorn and onion side which was really tasty.
I was disappointed with the decor as from outside it looks better than it is to be honest. But overall a nice evening.
Staff were nice and polite. Would go back.
Lovely food, steak was great. Friendly staff who ensure safety at all times during our visit
Delicious, lovely selection of steaks cooked to perfection. Wonderful touch with the birthday pudding too.
2nd visit and as good as the 1st. Great food. Service really good
Very lovely service, the food wasn't amazing but the steaks were good. The starters we had weren't great but the staff were lovely and friendly.
I was excited to use this steakhouse as I was aware of generally good reviews. Myself and my wife managed to get a table for 2 for Sat 24th Oct. We were seated in a tight space along a corridor and were given a small table for food to be served on which was positioned next to our main table. This made access past our table extremely tight and other customers were forced to use an alternative route if they needed to get past, or what was the majority of the case in this instance, they felt the need to continuously move this small table, when needing to get past.
Starters were good, but the main dishes were then just plonked on our table, before we had even finished our starters. The atmosphere was ruined due to a table of 4 close by being overly loud and members of the party continuously swearing.
Although my wife enjoyed her food, the quality of my fillet steak was not nice due to initially being too rare (despite medium rare request) and then the steak cut being too stringing/ sinewy, making it not only undercooked, but very unenjoyable to eat.
The steak was sent back and returned, being told that it was now cooked medium rare as requested. The first two bites of this steak were lovely, but the third and 4th bites highlighted that it was still far too rare. At this point it was returned, stating that I did not want another.
This was a very rare night out without the kids for both myself and my wife, so I was hoping that the service/ ambience and food would have been a lot better.
I appreciate the 10pm closing in the current climate, but feel that the service was extremely rushed in a bid to get us out by 10pm.
Although my steak was removed from the final bill, the overall experience for myself was a very unenjoyable one. The prices at this restaurant are pitched high, so I would have expected a higher level of service.
Main food was nice but a problem with desserts. Something in cheesecake .
The staff were very busy and seemed to be rushing around..
Drinks are very expensive
Overall a nice place but a bit pricey
Excellent service, Excellent steak. Looking forward to going back!
Great food, lovely wine list, friendly staff, clean restroom.
Good food and good service, being a small venue it did get quite loud at times.
We had a great night, with excellent food and cocktails. I would recommend for groups and couples.
I’m a fussy eater and wouldn’t normally order steak out. However, hands down, this was the best steak I have eaten in a restaurant, the 7oz fillet melted like butter - it was delicious.
Service was also impeccable, polite and timely.
Quite literally our only criticism was that it was slightly cold sitting in the window but honestly that was the only minor criticism.
It’s fairly pricey without the deals but you get what you pay for.
Amazing food, fantastic wine and cocktails. We had a lovely waiter that couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be returning.
I ordered a selection of medium rare Sirloin and Rump as it is steak specialist restaurant, one was cooked medium the other rare !!, and the quality of the meat I could get better locally, when the mains came out I noticed the sweetcorn mash was missing and had to wait 10min for this which is to late as I was eating, was to hot in the rear room as also other tables saying the same in the rear, asked for the air con to be turned on and then 5mins later they turned it off again, so I had to ask again to turn it on, drinks menu limited and no normal cider, Overall massively over priced for what you get, I did know in advance the prices and was happy booking as was expecting a far better experience and food.
We had a really lovely evening here, the steaks were fantastic - beautifully cooked. It was nice to have a relatively normal night out - I did miss some background music though!
Great food, great staff, will definitely be back.
Food was very good and service considerate of current measures in place.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating my son birthday
Pleasant staff, nice decor. Steak was very tasty rest was ok. My partner really liked the chips I thought they were ok. Toilets were clean but may be difficult to access if you have walking difficulties.
A lovely meal at Buenos Ayers Nights, food was very good and the service could not have been better
Great value and even better with the unexpected discount
A little too open but should have asked for a more private table
Fantastic service and food, have already recommended to several friends and family
My rump steak was excellent, service was good and the 2 for 1 offer made it good value.
The whole experience was diabolical. We were an early booking at 7pm, we were shown a table right by the door, bear in mind it was a cold night, so I pointed to a table further in the restaurant which they said was fine, well why didn't they sit us on that one in the first place rather than by the cold door.
They took our drinks order quite quickly, however the drinks still hadn't come by the time another waiter took our food order. We only ordered 1 bottle of wine and some tap water so wasn't exactly difficult. We then ordered bread and olives to start, for mains we ordered chicken milanese, rump steak medium and the burger.
The bread and olives took 20minutes to come, again not exactly difficult, we the board wasn't cleared for another half an hour and then our mains didn't come for another half an hour after that! So since we walked in the door at 7pm all we had eaten was bread and olives by 8.20pm!! The food came and it was terrible. My chicken was so dry and the side salad wasn't even the size of a walnut, I understand a side salad is small but this was ridiculous. And the cost of my chicken, £17 for chicken and chips? I'm sorry but that is outrageous pricing.
My friends steak was cooked Well done, not medium like she asked, and was so chewy she actually couldn't finish it.
My other friends burger was fine, can't really go wrong with a burger and chips.
It was obvious that our food had been left on the pass and forgotten about and if it wasn't then in sorry but your chefs have no idea how to cook.
We ordered a bottle of pinot grigio, that was the only thing we enjoyed to be honest, but again your prices are way too high. We were so hungry and disappointed we just paid and left, and went to another high street chain for our desserts.
Sad to say we will definitely not be coming back again.
The waiters were nice but way too rushed and I didnt feel like a customer, more like someone who was in the way.
Made to feel very welcome, had the steak platter which was amazing. Best tasting steak I have had for a long time. Will definitely be coming back
Lovely food, can't fault the food at all, however the gentleman that greeted us and served us firstly did have a mask but it was under his chin the whole time, I was a touch unnerved, we were seated in what felt like a corridor however no-one walked past thanks to the small serving table. The radiators were blasting, very hot, everyone seemed to be stripping down. When we got our order it was just plonked down with no explanation as to which cuts we had and what the relish was. The wine was amazing as was the dessert. The waiter was a nice man but we weren't impressed with the service. I feel a bit mean giving 3 stars but for what we spent there I think it's fair.
Lovely evening out. Great service. Lovely food. Slightly overpriced.
Very nice restaurant steaks were amazing starters were very nice we had the pasties two to a portion which was just enough had to wait a little longer than I would preferred chips could of been hotter we were offered more but we ate them chocolate truffle was lovely a little bit more sauce would of been nice but all said a very nice evening would defiantly return
Fantastic food and great service. We will definitely be back. Best steak I've had ever!
Steak was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, super tasty!!! The peppercorn sauce and chimichurri made a nice addition. The atmosphere and service was great
Definitely highly recommend a visit.
Great steaks, great burgers, can't wait to try the rest of the menu soon. Great new place to eat in Ashford!
Disappointing! We arrived at 10 mins early for a confirmed reservation to be told that there were no tables and could we return in half an hour, with a 10pm curfew in place this already made things tight. Having returned and seated, our drinks or was taken immediately, and we had to wait nearly another 30mins for a drinks to arrive. Our starters came and then were cleared, no issues there, and the food was superb! Now just after 9pm, we were waiting on the Main courses, the steak! We were then told that the kitchen had cooked the wrong steak rather than a Fillet that had been ordered, they had cooked a Rump steak, and was offered the rump as replacement on the house, I was disappointed (as I had eaten here the week previous, ordered the Fillet and the food/service everything couldn't be faulted) but accepted the offer conscious of time, the food arrived and the Rump steak had not cooked to my order. It arrived rare, rather than medium-rare ordered on my original fillet, so personally not enjoyable.
As I mentioned, I had eaten at Buenos Aires the week previous, and this disappointing experience was not the same as the week before.
My friend and I enjoyed our meal but waited around 40 minutes for our starter. They were very busy and the staff were nice. The wine list was quite pricy with only two bottles of red under £25 ( we had one and it was lovely Most were in the £35-40 price range.
The food and service were incredible, staff were friendly and helpful and personable and the steak was full of flavour. We had the steak sampler and a variety of sides. We also had the chocolate truffle cake for dessert which was delicious but could have done with more dulche de leche sauce. The only struggle we had was that the tables were small and when having a bottle of wine, water and food it’s a bit of a Jenga puzzle as to what fits where.
Fabulous food, great service, lovely interior/dining area, extensive wine list, will be returning for our next date night.
Nice food and customer service but found drinks over priced.
The service was good, went for anniversary dinner and thought the restaurant would be fancier but it is very casual.
Lovely steak and well looked after, would definitely return for another visit
