Burger and Bubbles
Great find.. well worth a try! Great service form staff, good food and good drinks.
The staff at the venue were friendly and outgoing. Food and the service was excellent. Would recommend to friends and will be coming back soon. All the best.
Jenny, our waitress was so helpful. Always checking up on us and topping up our drinks. Food was lovely, just a shame we had to rush off at the end. Will be visiting again.
My friend & I went to Burger & Bubbles for lunch. The menu has a varied option to choose from and is of good pricing however the dessert menu needs expanding. The drinks menu, both alcoholic & non-alcoholic is a bit limited but there is something for everyone. The atmosphere was calm and not busy for lunch, which was good. I would definitely recommend Burger & Bubbles to a friend and considering to return to try the Afternoon Tea that they offer.
Food was really bland, and the cocktails weren’t very good. the only good thing were the wings.
Service was good, friendly, quick and nothing was too much to ask.
The food was lovely, myself and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed our time.
I was incredibly impressed when four really drunk men walked in, they were asked to leave almost immediately due to being loud and obnoxious. (These guys kept saying they were going to spend a lot of money etc) but the barman made it clear that there were other customers in the bar.
I would highly recommend - the dirty fries are to die for!
Food was horrible, so overpriced. Staff were desperate to get rid of us, but then the actual food took forever to come. Really odd atmosphere. Menu looks great, reality is v. different. So disappointing. Could not recommend.
Really awful. Took a friend for a birthday celebration, there were ants all over the table, cocktails were not cocktails - but fruit juice with too much ice. Served in camping cups - which were also full of ice. Burger were only edible part of afternoon tea, they were very tasty but nothing is made on site. Scones were admitted to be from a packet after mould and cross contamination of food was identified. Viennese whirls, macaroons and brownie from packets too. Ended up getting 50% off as another table complained too but still wasn’t worth it. Very embarrassing after taking a friend here for her birthday.
Excellent service and delicious food. What more do you want? I would only suggest that the volume of music be toned down - it was actually too loud for a food establishment.
I unfortunately wouldn't recommend Burger and Bubbles to anyone due to the noise from the club below.
We were there on a Sunday late afternoon which we thought would be quiet but we couldn't even hold a conversation without having to shout across the table at each other. The vibrations from the speakers below were intense on your feet making it an irritating and uncomfortable experience.
Aside that ... the food and staff were wonderful, and very apologetic for the noise. We had a voucher which included a burger and cocktail which we both enjoyed.
Waited an hour and a half between starter and mains. The noise and vibrations coming from the club underneath was so over powering. Staff done nothing about a small table of drunk girls shouting and swearing. Will never go back.
The food was really good but was too nosey so I had to almost shout to my partner
The cocktails are very very sugary, more so then they should be (me and my friends had a headache straight after and the day that followed and it wasn’t a hangover) the candy fizz is especially sugary, so much so we were unable to drink it! Also be intrigued to know what the alcohol servings are for these cocktails as they tasted more like mock tails....
For a Saturday at 7pm they had run out of a lot of ingredients (this was later solved by someone going to the shop). The staff didn’t seem to know what was included in what deal. It was all so much hard work!
Also BridgeBar is just below and from about half 8/9 the music and base is very intense.
Food was ok. Very noisy due to hen party. Seated near door which remained open making it uncomfortably cold. Service very poor although staff were lovely once we managed to get their attention. Won’t be rushing back sadly.
Fantastic experience, friendly attentive staff would highly recommend
We had the ‘Tipsy Tea Party’ with teapot cocktails
Chicken burger dry, under seasoned food in general. Garnishes underwhelming. Poor value
We went to B&B on a Saturday night at 7.30 to catch-up, drink and generally get ready for the night. This with the knowledge that B&B is a good destination having been there a few times before (in the daytime)...
So it was such a shame that, like other reviews, the service was slow when I would suggest it was not that busy (one guest was served one pint of non-craft beer, and 2 cocktails in the 90 minutes, costing the princely sum of £40), the prosecco drinkers did not fare much better and this was despite there being maybe 5+ different serving staff who came our table to bring food, clear plates etc. and pour a drink when we requested a refill. The music was soft and calming, which at this time of the day I was hoping for something a bit more lively (but that can be put down to personal taste...).
To top it off, never good when you hear the table next to you complaining. I wonder if they have posted on here too.
The food, I could cut and paste another users review - large pot of humus and half a bun toasted and sliced...Chicken burger ok. We almost lucked out when they gave us the cheaper wrong bill including kids menus (for the table next to us with children...)
All in all, the night was disappointing, not worth the money at all, service slow and lifeless and I would not consider going back here again (nor recommend our friends from the area). If you will charge London prices, please deliver a better service and product! You can pay a lot less for more elsewhere...
Burger was lovely, onion ring and mac and cheese were a bit disappointing.
Service was very slow
waitress and manager provided first class service we were always topped up food was delicious although i think they should set the price to 30 like the other brunch venues or provide some fries maybe with the burgers or more food options
Slightly pricier than expdcted
Food didn’t tase good to us but the place was great for drinking and sociable place
We visited for a tipsy tea party in Jan and we were really pleased with the food and level of service. As a result we booked a Friday night dinner for Valentines and were very disappointed. Service was slow and we felt like we were ignored for drink requests (we opted for the £40 2 courses & bottomless cocktails option). We both ordered halloumi bites to start, which were nothing special and we could have easily done ourselves. For main we both ordered the classic cheese burger, which again was nothing special and nothing like the pictures on their website. I think we only had 3 or 4 cocktails each, my partner's cosmopolitans were small and full of ice, meaning a glass only had 2 or 3 mouthfuls in. There were only 5 other tables in the restaurant, so they weren't busy. We had to ask for the bill twice and after waiting for 30 mins, I went to the bar to pay so we could leave. Overall very disappointed and don't feel it was anywhere near worth the £80 bill we paid.
Amazing food and excellent service. Will definitely go back.
Went for sons 17th Birthday.
They are lucky they have 1 star don’t deserve any.service was terrible ordered our drinks they were all wrong and flat the food is overpriced and looks nothing like what is advertised.please if you want a burger go to Byron or Ed’s Diner in Bromley.
Food and atmosphere is lovely but for a bottomless brunch we only received 4 drinks and had to ask every time to receive a new one. It is one of the more expensive brunches and the service was really poor.
Food was Luke warm, my Cajun chicken was bun free and instead of being wrapped in lettuce it was covered in what looked like greens! Also very small portion of chicken, advocado and bacon.
The club downstairs was so loud it made our chairs vibrate and was most off putting.
Lunch deal was great value for money and 2 for 1 cocktails was a bonus. Would have still been happy to pay full price as food was delicious and service was great!
Excellent service, food and vibe this is the second time I’ve been there this week. The food is completely affordable and good portion size. Very good playlist. Will be going again.
Good little eatery if you like an assortment of burgers. Got a complimentary glass of popcorn and enjoyed the variety of cocktails. They have a cute little children’s menu also.
So I visited the restaurant on Saturday with my work colleagues and what an appalling service. Once seated, we had to wait for over 20 minutes before I got up myself to get a food and drinks menu. After another 10 minutes a waitress came over and took our drink and food order (we thought we would order both together to save waiting even longer). Whilst waiting for our food we noticed a draft coming from the windows, to notice that the door was in fact broken causing it to be very cold, especially for the ladies in the group. We mentioned this issue to the Waitress to be told it had been broken for some time. Due to the issues we were offered a free round of drinks. Once the drinks arrived, we were surprised that the mixers had very little alcohol in (probably to reduce cost) overall the food was good however everything else was a complete let down!
This was the first time I have been, what a gem of a place. I loved the decor, the atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and wonderful burgers and bubbles.
I would definitely return and 'recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a great night. 😁🍔🍟🍾🍾🥂🥂
First time visit, nice place decent menu however the food could be better. The focus was on the presentation and plating which was not great.
Service was slow but the ambience and music was good.
They also gave us free entry to their club downstairs which was nice.
Such a shame the service was rushed and you have a time limited on the table. Even if you haven’t finished they give you a brown box and make you leave. They were not free flowing with the drinks on the afternoon tea and as a non drinker I didn’t get another drink. We moved to Bocca and finished our day there which was much better. Will not be going back.
I went for my birthday, was a group of 5
The staff where amazing, and friendly,
The food was lovely and they even sang happy birthday to me :)
Was overal a lovely evening and would definitely go back
Great restaurant and food was excellent. We waited a fair while for someone to take our food order and then again for our plates to be cleared but we weren’t in a rush so this didn’t really matter too much. The burgers were really tasty and the portions very generous, also lovely dessert!
Second time coming hear, first time was amazing! But this time I felt really rushed, after ordering our food starters came out within minutes which was fine, but bit even half way through our starters our main came out, so after finishing our starters we wernt hungry for our main just yet, so when we started to yet it it was cold, so I didn't even eat half my food and none of my chips, my partner only ate half to.
Really enjoyable afternoon. Great service and food. Better than I expected. Possiyive - right near train station
Great place to eat, really good vibe ad really helpful and friendly staff.
Great service overall , top ups were flowing, music was good and polite waitress.
Extremely expensive for mediocre food, I had the chicken burger and sweet potato fries nothing special, waffle wasn’t made fresh
