Burgers & Beers is a must for anyone visiting the city and locals alike. We even have an outdoor seating area where you can wonder at the sites of the Royal Mile including the number one street performers spot right on our doorstep.
This is a great location on the Royal Mile.
We ordered 2 burgers and the grilled chicken. The burgers were extremely over cooked. The Mac and Cheese were swimming in grease. The grilled chicken was also over cooked but not to the extent-of the burgers. The piri piri sauce was really good and the skewer veggies were done just right.
The online menu differs from the current menu so make sure you look before you commit.
The bartender was generally indifferent to rude.
Other than the view and the veggies I think there are many better choices in Edinburgh.
Staff friendly and welcoming.£58 for burger and one portion of chips.exspensive
The wings Wednesday offer is amazing! Really brilliant value for money and absolutely delicious. Wish I could’ve got the buffalo sauce recipe :)
Lovely, bustling burger bar. Delicious burgers & hand cut chips were the best I’ve ever tasted. Big up to our waitress Mac, she was just lovely & so attentive. Very disappointed with OpenTable. Received a conformation email to confirm booking, another email to remind me of my booking, on arrival the restaurant had no notification of the booking. The restaurant were very helpful & got us a table as soon as they could. Would definitively return
We had the Steak and Chargrilled Chicken for dinner after a day of walking about and around the Royal Mile. Oh my days! The food was REALLY REALLY GOOOOD! I couldn't stop eating!
Something for everyone on the menu, very family friendly and fun. Wonderful service.
Fab food a little noisy as a stag party were in however the service and food couldn’t be faulted
stafff were lovely, very kind and welcoming, prices easily justified for the quality of the meal. Felt like home away from home. Easily the best burger i’ve ever had.
Great food. Fantastic service.
We love this place. Excellent ribs, bbq chicken and wings. Kids options are very good too. Our server was Mercedes who was friendly, attentive and quick to take our order. We’ll definitely be back!
Waitress was great. Burger was done well and chips were hot
Food was fine but noise from two of the waitresses was just too over the top, friendly but just way over the top for me and my companions.Time to talk then time to walk away.Everyone is different but i don't want the waitress to be my best friend or pretend to be
Terrible waitress, ruined the joy of eating there. food was elaborated sadly a bit overcooked.
Heel leuke ervaring . Burgers van zeer goede kwaliteit. Vlotte en aangename bediening. Alleen te kleine tafels . Overvol tijdens het eten.
Reading reviews of this being the 'best burgers in Scotland' decided to try out. The concept is great and should deliver however atmosphere was poor they could
Do a lot more to enhance. Menu is great and wings were enjoyable. The burgers though were horrifically over cooked what a disappointment. Service was strangely in your face with the main course being brought before we finished the starter and trying to clear plates before we were finished even though the place was almost
Empty. Then when we wanted to pay it took forever. Didn't make sense.
Good was excellent and service was great. Only issue was there was no dessert or coffee as their was an issue with the water at the end of the night. Unfortunate. Otherwise great.
It was geared at younger people and the signature ribs ran out at 7pm no ribs left.
Food was good basic Burger stuff, and the atmosphere was good. We booked for 8.45 and were not seated and served for a total of an hour. Not great service.
Lunch for 2. Table pre-booked. Only became busy shortly after 1430. Service was good but burgers only average for gourmet level expectation and price. Licensed with short list of draught and long list of bottled beers, wine and soft drinks available. Lively atmosphere and good location. Overall ok but a tad pricy.
Great food, lovely spot and really good location. Burgers are a little pricey for what they are but worth the money.
Sides were good too - Chilli cheese fries are amazing!
Food and Drinks were amazing. Lisa was best hostess.
Decent burgers, good service and great selection of beers. Would return.
Up for the rugby. Very friendly and such a variety to choose! All delicious and on my list if I visit again
We were a family of four visiting Edinburgh for the day, booked a table the day before ... so pleased we did! Our server Lisa was so friendly nothing was too much trouble. I can highly recommend the blueberry mojito! Our burgers were delicious and the hand cut chips were divine ... portions were huge ! We all left feeling incredibly full, would highly recommend and will be sure to return , next time we are in Edinburgh!!
Nice ambience. Relaxed modern interior. Excellent food. Great friendly staff. Drinks far too expensive however which was the only disappointing part.
Great little find - fabulous unusual burgers and a great choice of beers. Really good value and absolutely lovely staff!
Excellent choice of burgers and craft beers! Great service even though it was exceptionally busy. Would definitely recommend.
Wine choice out of stock and when chose side orders coleslaw also out of stock
Very enjoyable meal for a special birthday.Steak was very good and the service excellent, very friendly staff.
Amazing food!! My partner had the Anna Nicole Smith and I had the Rocky Balboa (I like Blue cheese but I found it way to strong but that's just a personal thing) however the fries were amazing.
The only thing negative would be cost of drinks we didn't mind as it was a once off but you wouldn't be able to sit and drink in here for any length of time. I had a Nutella and pretzel milk shake with a shot of Amaretto and it cost nearly £9 but was more or less filled with ice and toppeD up with cream to make it look huge. My partner also got a Flying Scotts dog I think it was called £5.60 ish in beer and burger but in George st weatherspoons it was £2.60!
The food was definitely worth the money and garlic bread with cheese on it was to die for!
The burgers and fries at B & B were fantastic! The flavours were perfectly balanced making the burgers incredible. The beer choice was great, and so good to see so many Scottish ales on tap. The service was excellent.
Does just what it says! great burger choice and beers. Service was excellent and the place was busy, so make sure to book.
Very tasty food. Tried the ribs and chicken wings as well as the burgers. All very good. Large portions.
Quite pricey though, especially the wine.
Excellent customer service, wide variety of beers. Food a little bit pricey for just a burger but the quality of it was undeniably great! Will be coming back!
