Our first time. Excellent food and service. We will be back!
Great service with extremely friendly wait staff. Will definitely return!!
Really good flod
Great food. Helpful wait staff. Very crowded the evening of 9/11 with lots of music on the street. Preferred being outside.
Nice, casual byo restaurant. The food was great (especially the pork chop) and our waiter Sam was friendly. We'll definitely make a return visit!
Sidewalk tables were not very comfortable. Really wanted to like this place but just couldn’t. My fusilli was the daily special. Very bland and there was not much crabmeat. My fellow diners had the ravioli and our third person had the fish which was good. Did enjoy the appetizers. The service was friendly.
An exceptional value. The specials were actually special and fit well against the regular menue.
My wife and I have been going their for months. At least once a week and sometimes twice a week. Service is great, food is portioned perfectly for us.
Great food great service.
Enjoyed dining outside for a lovely meal with friends. Their first time, we have dined several times. Attentive service. Menu has many options and the specials are always great.
Best food around! Always an incredible dinner experience!
Great food, friendly and efficient waiter. Altogether a great restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit!
Food was fantastic! We got the veal, gnocchi and the pappardelle. Gnocchi was my fave. Starters were burrata and the carpaccio (both amazing). Loved the food, our server was great - they let you have a nice dinner with no rushing out so it was great choice for a friend group. Will definitely be back.
Excellent meal, and excellent service, will be back
Excellent pasta dishes; ample outside seating; reasonable prices; nearby parking lot makes it especially easy to park in the evening.
Food was delicious, quiet setting. Service was friendly, but soooo slow. Getting things like a glass of water, utensils, took very long. Other tables around seemed to be moving through much quicker. I would go back but was caught off guard by how slow the service was.
Night put with friend
Always delicious and warm service from great staff
Outstanding food! Best Octopus I’ve ever had. The food reminded me of restaurants in Rome. Absolutely fantastic! The only 4 star was due to the noise level, not terrible but just a bit noisy.
Great neighborhood place.
Excellent service and food. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
Best meal ever - always
Outstanding homemade, authentic Italian. Neighborhood gem.
Everything was just okay.
Service was very slow.
Prices are high and portions are small but tasty.
We dined outdoor. Nice ambiance.
Not a place I’d return to. There are far better Italian restaurants with much better prices.
We had reservations for outside, we asked to be moved inside and we were rudely told it can’t happen. Fine, totally understand we can’t be moved inside but could have done without the rudeness. We were told to meet them outside. We walked around and waited about 10 minutes just standing there not knowing where we should sit. Finally the rude guy (we were told he was the manager) comes out and points to a table. Great. We sit down and order our food, the waiter was efficient and the bussers were on point at first. Ordered Cesar salad, lobster ravioli and Potato Gnocci. They were all good, but the ravioli was a pretty small portion. It started pouring right before our food came, they brought it out in the rain. We stuck it out for a bit but the food was literally getting watered down by the rain. Since there wasn’t much to the ravioli, that was not an issue. No one came out to say, “hey, you okay?” There was no concern whatsoever. Finally someone came out after I was holding a napkin over my food for awhile. I got a to go container, but it took a pretty long time to get the check, as we are sitting there getting soaked and my food was getting cold. I just wanted to get home, get dry clothes on and eat my dinner. I know that the weather is completely out of their control, but even pretending they were concerned we were getting soaked would have been nice, and someone coming out to quickly get to go containers and give us the check would have been even better. While the food was pretty good, there are lot of good restaurants in Havertown and the surrounding area so we will take our business to a restaurant that will appreciate our business in the future. I don’t love paying for a night out to be treated rudely then ignored.
Burrata is a hidden gem in the suburbs. Their menu, service, and food are consistently excellent and they have some outdoor tables which is a plus these days. The plating is lovely and all of the dishes we have had so far have been delicious, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We will be back.
I must say being a retired Chef who appreciates good food, from service, to food this place has it, only negative is the noise level and that can be overlooked.
The Gnocchi took me back to my childhood at my Grandmother's table, light, little pillows, and my son's fettuccine, the same.
This is a must visit.
We reserved outdoor dining but it was too hot for us. The host accommodated us so we sat indoors. We were sharing dishes so they gave us serving utensils which most restaurants don’t.
Fortunate to be able to dine outside. Service was efficient and courteous. Our meal was delicious and well presented.
We had not yet been to Burrata-Havertown so we decided to go with our good friends and neighbors. We were all so very glad we did, It was terrific.
The food was fantastic, 2 of us had the delicious, melt in your mouth scallops over a bed of risotto, I had a side of broccoli rabe, my friend had a side of the spinach, others had the lobster, crab ravioli and my wife had the mushroom potato gnocchi, everything was excellent. The favors were exceptional, and the staff couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. A real gem of a place, one we will be coming back to very soon.
This was our 5th visit and while I enjoyed the meal it just wasn’t as good as my prior visits. It started off poorly as we had to wait 15 min for bread and they weren’t crowded. The table next to us weren’t even seated but they had their bread basket. I ordered the exact same thing each time…..eggplant parm for the app and the pork chop entree. Each prior visit the app and entree were consistent and excellent. The eggplant parm was served in an individual baking dish and it was expertly and delicately prepared. Best I’ve had and worth coming back for. This time it was served on a plate swimming in a red sauce. It was ok to good but I’ll consider other apps. The pork chop was frenched, brined and perfectly cooked and seasoned. On prior visits the pork chop came with simple yet perfectly prepared roasted potatoes and asparagus. Both were so good I didnt even look at the menu because the pork chop sides changed. Instead it came with a bland scoop of polenta and lackluster broccoli rabe. It also had a too much of an over seasoned pork gravy. The pork chop itself was as good as before but the overall entree for me was disappointing based as my expectation. I will go back hopeful.
This is usually one of our favorite restaurants; however, last night felt like a one off. The lobster ravioli, which I’ve ordered numerous times, were in more of a red sauce as opposed to pink. There was a shell in one of them too, and the flavor just wasn’t as vibrant as usual. My boyfriend had the orecchiette, which he enjoyed, but my bite was a little bland. Espresso was great and so was the service. We’ll definitely return, but hope the food bounces back by then!
We had a great experience at Burrata. Food is great and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this place.
Excellent service and food. Very busy.
Everything was amazing. We got the calamari as an appetizer and it was amazing. It was in a red sauce and was definitely up there on the list for the best calamari we’ve had. For our meals we had the fish special that was similar to a branzino, the pasta special which was a fettuccine in a spicy Alfredo sauce, and the paccheri which is bolognese. We also had a cannoli and the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and those were great as well! Everyone loved their meals and we will definitely going back. The service was great too!
Beet salad appetizer delicious. Fish is always good and cappuccino is exceptional. We always enjoy dinner.
Burrata is a great addition to Havertown. Parking is available nearby, which is always a plus! The service was terrific and the food delicious. Highly recommend the mussels, but all the appetizers and entrees at our table of four were delicious!
Dinner was delicious. The proportions were the right size, not too much or too little. Service was impeccable. Very friendly. The noise level was a little loud, was not too crowded so wasn’t too bad. Will definitely be going back.
