Outstanding food, we ate a range of food off the menu and a change was made to accommodate our needs. Staff was very polite and friendly. Lovely atmosphere.

Very friendly staff, nothing is you much trouble. Excellent standard of food at reasonable prices. New gluten free menu is now available. My granddaughter loved the play area in the beer garden. Ample car parking. Dog friendly with water and dog treats readily available. Has an atmosphere without being too noisy. I haven't experienced the live entertainment. Would highly recommend.

The service was brilliant; all the staff were friendly. The food was amazing—great sized portions that tasted so good, and the wait time was not long. If you have room for dessert, you definitely have to try the Cheesecake (out of this world). It was busy but not crowded. We went when football was on (we wanted to watch it, too), and there were plenty of screens. There was also a great selection of drinks to choose from. Lastly, the car park is a decent size, with spaces that are not too tight. I would love to revisit when in the area again, and I would recommend it to anyone nearby wanting some decent grub!

We were staying locally and needed somewhere for dinner. Our hosts recommended the Butchers Arms and we were so glad they did. Warm welcome, shown to table straight away and handed menus and drinks ordered. Fortunately for us it was a Monday evening so could take advantage of the ‘2 courses for £12.99’. Amazing value, we both had the King Prawns with spicy dip to start and the Rump steak (which did incur a £2 surcharge but no worries). Everything was well cooked, nicely presented and tasted great. Lovely country pub, highly recommended.
