Butifarra Ratings and Reviews
First time visiting Butifarra but will most certainly be going back. Tiny little place with only a few tables but they happily seated six of us. The staff were really friendly and the food was fantastic; for such a small restaurant we were really impressed with the variety of the menu. And really cheap too! Just don't forget that it is BYOB if you want something alcoholic with your meal. Couldn't want anything more from an informal lunch with friends in central London.
Big fun of peruvian cuisine. Butifarra offers a focused menu of ceviches, arepas, salads, original soft drinks and other. The venue is small and not too comfi, but food was quite good and service was ok. Very inexpensive, in contrast with many other peruvian restaurats. We will come back for more...
Four of us went for a speedy supper on Friday night before a party. Nice that you can book tables, as it's tiny! We ordered a butifarra each & then shared most of the sides: quinoa salad, potatoes, ceviche, chicken wings. The butifarra and the chicken wings were the highlights. The potatoes were cold & it would have been better if they were hot. Service was speedy and with a smile. Would probably return if in the area for a quick bite.
The Butifarra sandwiches were good, moist, full of flavour and a large size. The quality of the dish cannot be faulted.
The low score is based on service and ambience. When we arrived at 7:30pm about 50% of the sides dishes from the already small menu were not available and service was fair. Despite the minimal 5 tables in the entire restaurant we were sat in front of our finished plates for over half an hour waiting to be cleared. The restaurant was borderline empty and there was no excuse to get missed like that!
I would say Butifarra is perfect for a takeaway sandwich, as you will get a tasty yet cheap bite to eat. If you do decide to eat in, the only bonus is that it is a BYOB venue.
