Well Well Well . Absolute fabulous food. From walking in the door with nice ambient music we were shown to our table for the evening. Omg the food from start to finish was exceptional with the service also first class. We went for the sharing meal. Steak top level with lobster. Spectacular . Up there with my best meal ever . Desert was also unreal . 10/10 for us . Will return soon .

This is the forth time we have been and it didn’t disappoint! It doesn’t feel like you are at a restaurant, it feels like you are going to a friends house. The food, the atmosphere and the service is just perfect. I can’t wait to come back.

The food was outstanding and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We chose Butterflies as we were celebrating a special Birthday and we weren’t disappointed you get what you pay for the flavours of the food and the way the food was presented made our meal feel special.

Have been to Butterflies many times over the year and to be honest the team there always leave me wanting to book for the next time. From the moment you walk in the door to sipping your first drink, the feel of the place, the buzz of people just enjoying themselfs makes the place special. Food without saying if always on a par with the best eating places anywhere in the world. Butterflies in a small town tucked away really is a special place. I don't always add a review each time I visit but its been a while since I have, the only issue I have is you alway been to book well in advance but there again what does that indicate. Dane really should be proud of what he has created.

Hi Rachel, Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you enjoyed your meal with us - Our menu is available for guests to view online, if you thought it was overpriced you could have cancelled your booking beforehand. Our menu is priced very competitively for the high quality of produce that we use. Also, just for your information - the pub was built in 1832 as an inn called The Cross Keys, it has served the local community for almost 200 years and was remodelled into a restaurant around 25 years ago. Your comments that Blaenavon is a rough town is uncalled for. Blaenavon is a World Heritage Town with beautiful scenery and a rich history, there is a lot of ongoing investment to improve the local area.

Second visit to Butterflies Bar and Kitchen and everything was fantastic. We were celebrating GCSE results as a party of 6. The food was delicious, the service was great and had a lovely evening .

A lovely Sunday lunch. We had beef and it was so tender and lovely. All the food was hot when it arrived at the table. The service was impeccable. Definitely worth a visit ( if you are lucky enough to get in!).
