Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients.

I had Rodney and he was amazinggggggg. He was very sweet and gave great recommendations. The food was so good and it was very filling. I can’t wait to come back and have Rodney as my server again. 10/10 for the service and restaurant.

From the walk in the front door, to the walk out the door. My experience was amazing. We were able to be seated right away. Our server Rodney was AMAZING! He was very informative. He was patient. He allowed us to take our time. He was also very funny lol. The food was amazing. The drinks were amazing. I will be back! Def 10/10!

We had such a wonderful dinner at C&S Seafood! The food was outstanding, and the service was phenomenal. Samantha took excellent care of us and truly made our evening special. She was warm, personable, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed. We were enjoying dinner with my mom, and Samantha helped make the experience even more memorable. Great food is always a plus, but exceptional service makes all the difference and Samantha definitely delivered! We truly enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning. Thank you, Samantha! ❤️

Always a wonderful dining experience Unfortunately my car was booted in parking deck in spite of confirmation of registration! Undermining the entire experience. The restaurant staff treated my wife and guest wonderfully

Had to stop by my favorite place again. Never unimpressed with the food, quality and service. The management (Alec & Omar) is always visible, polite and pleasant. My server (Winston) who has served me twice before, actually remembered my drink and appetizer order from my last visit which made my ordering process even easier being that I was there for lunch and was on limited time. I will return very soon.

It was just OK. The raw oysters had pieces of shell in them and the Lobster Cobb Salad dressing had no flavor.

The server was nice and professional. The restaurant is small and VERY dark. Bread and butter was good. They can’t shuck an oyster to save their life - only 2 of 12 didn’t have shards of crushed shell. The tuna tartar was the best I have ever had. The Caesar salad lacked flavor. The whipped potatoes were amazing but the asparagus was just ok. Scallops were weirdly mushy or gummy but tasted ok, and the sauce did a lot of lifting. I would say may it was an off night and try again with some other menu choices, but the pricing is at the point where… why bother? There are better options out there for the money.
