It was good. Needed bread or chips with ceviche. Server was slow.
Absolutely wonderful !!
Awesome food and service. Stephanie does it again!
Very good food, good ambiance! We appreciate a lot our dinner! I recommand to everybody!
The classic ceviche was the highlight of the meal, but overall none of the flavors were of the high quality I've come to expect from Izzard's other restaurants, and with a recent meal at Girl and the Goat offering larger, tastier dishes, better cocktails and quieter ambience for an almost comparable price, I'll probably skip Cabra next time around.
We're big Stephanie Izard fans, and have been wanting to get over to Cabra. It was worth the wait. We enjoyed the offerings, and while you might think you need a lot of small plates, we didn't walk away hungry. If you like ceviche, then this is your joint. Definitely will be back, but probably in the summer.
A little overpriced, but food was really good. The staff delivered excellent service
Very cool ambiance. Waiter was amazing. Food was really good. Can’t wait to return.
Wonderful food and serve. Amazing building! Great area.
My sister and brother In-law were in town. The food and service was impeccable! Even for a rainy day it had fabulous atmosphere.
We dined at dinner last night at Cabra (Peruvian), which is located on the top floor of a hotel. Our food was quite good, reasonably priced and our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. The menu is designed to encourage sharing dishes and the three of us shared all our dishes. The only drawback was that the restaurant is quite noisy (if you are sitting inside at dinner).
Everything was delicious. Great Pisco Sour.
Slow service, not great food, over priced
Everything was great! Definitely would recommend to anyone.
Great food. Attentive service. Awesome atmosphere. Thanks for making the night great!
Easily, one of the top 5 restaurants in the city. Give this one a try!
Food not up to the standard of the chef. Felt like we wasted a meal in a short trip to Chicago.
Went for lunch ........ lunch menu is an exceptional value and allows a great taste of the full menu. Approachable wine list and very attentive service. The space is beautiful
the food is delicious but the portions are really small (even for small plates) given the price. Second time here and the service just isn't great. Not sure I would come back -
lunch only - poor menu selection with very little focus on true Peruvian dishes. The server described it as "American". Starters were delicious with main courses just about acceptable
We really enjoyed our brunch. The setting and ambiance were the best part! The food was unique and very good. Fun to share. Not too crowded on a Sunday.
The food is absolutely amazing.
However, the biggest part of the night that I remember, aside from the fantastic food, was the noise. I literally could not hear the waiter speaking to us, that's how loud it was. He was 2 feet away from my face and I still couldn't hear him.
Great service and great food. A little pricey and very, very loud.
It was great!!
Being Peruvian native and coming from
a line of Peruvian homecooks and chef the food was upstanding!
Will definitely come back!
Beautiful space, delish food, and casual spot
Not on the same level as “girl and the goat”
Food was ok though
Very loud but the food is really good and the service is spectacular.
Food was fantastic! Atmosphere is super cool.
Beautiful, lush ambiance. Great drinks, but just okay food.
Delicious food - especially the fish dishes. A little pricey.
Group of drunk football fans came in and took over bar area, completely disrupting our dinner. Management did nothing.
Sat at the sushi type bar. Wonderful interaction with the chefs and cooks there!
Best brunch in Chicago, hands down.
The ceviches and Tiraditos were the highlights. We also loved the dips. Our servers were outstanding!
A friend and I met there for brunch.
I had the fries and chorizo. Not sure if it was a dish recooked multiple times, but it really hurt my stomach, and I was sick for the rest of the day.
Food was excellent across the board, we had a variety of ceviches (shrimp, tuna, wahu) all were incredibly fresh, buttery, and the marinades were to die for. The chorizo frites were addicting and the fried fish plate and Swiss chard empanadas were great as well. Cocktails were on point, great selection of pisco sours to choose from in addition to extensive beer and wine list. Sweet potato donuts were incredible, definitely need to try! Good vibe in the restaurant overall in terms of atmosphere. Service was casual but personalized and our server Andrew was super personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. Overall amazing experience and kudos to the front and back of house team. I’ll be back!
Everything was delicious. we arrived a little late and they were accommodating. Amazing view.
