'The Original Caco&Co....'
I really cosy place where service is perfect and the food is absolutely delicious! I recommend that place!
Another excellent meal at Caco & Co! Delicious food, incredible fried polenta! Staff are wonderful as always.
Great restaurant and delicious food. A lot of time and thought has gone into the cooking here. It was quiet when we went here on a Friday night but once we tried the food we couldn't understand why it wasn't busier! A great find for tasty, casual, home-style Portuguese cooking. Highly recommended.
Just love this place. Lovely food and friendly staff.
Good selection and great service from friendly, knowledgable staff.
It's a lovely setting but very average food and service. We were there early on a Saturday night and expected more from the food based on reviews. service was not particularly attentive given how quiet it was when we arrived.
The food is amazing as usual, very good deal. A quiet place to enjoy good food with your friends.
Caco & Co proved a fine venue for our last supper before leaving the country. Reliable and tasty food, friendly service and always good value; what's not to like?
Looking for a Portuguese restaurant for some home flavour food and found this restaurant online. Tried the Francesinha which is a very typical plate in Porto and was one of the best I ever hate (and the cooker is from Funchal, which makes it even more surprising :) )
Good diversity on the menu, just missing a more affordable house wine!
Restaurant has a nice decor and staff was very pleasant and always available.
To the restaurant manager - please update the cost of food on the online menus as they don't match what you have on your in-house menu.
High-quality ingredients cooked to perfection, nourishing and comforting at the same time. Tranquil and pleasant setting with charming service.
Bustling open plan local restaurant offering Portuguese (Madeira) specialities which we were unfamiliar with but thoroughly enjoyed, the food is expertly cooked, seared tuna just right and prawns thoughtfully descaled, enjoyed my bacalahu main and pork and clam stew full of flavour, don't miss the croquettes and the garlic bread is worth it if you have room. Interesting range of mimosas although I preferred the drink unmimosa'd.
We were a group of 7 friends for diner. Food was excellent, everyone has ordered a starter and a main course and we have shared all; so nice to taste a wide variety of food from Portugal. Staff is lovely and helpful. I would definitely come back!
Had walked / driven past Caco & Co several times and made a mental note to try it. I am very glad that we finally did. The food was universally excellent - we were a table of eight and ordered at least ten different dishes - the service was friendly and professional, and the ambiance easy and relaxed. All that for just over £25 a head, admittedly helped by having only one bottle of wine between us as a number of our group were misguided souls doing the dry January thing. Can't wait to go back and sample more dishes on the menu.
A group of 8 of us went to celebrate our friends birthday at Caco and Co. We were unanimously very impressed by the food, service and thoughtfulness of this Portuguese restaurant.
We all took the 3 courses and free flowing mimosa offer. Even with such a big group, the food came out quickly, and was hot and delicious. No one was unhappy with any of their courses.
At the end, the restaurant gifted us with a scrumptious custard birthday cake to help us celebrate our friends birthday!! This was a wonderful surprise, and we can not be more grateful.
Wonderful Madeiran cuisine with elements of Portugal and The Azores. Be sure to try the pork and clams as well as the chorizo meatballs as you watch the locals go by & soak up the relaxed atmosphere. Very glad we left room for pudding as all 3 were splendid! Great recommendations from our waiter. Can't wait to go back for more
Really good food and a good authentic Portuguese menu. Not a great destination and only been open a couple of months so they hopefully will learn about getting an ambience right.
Tried this place out with my girlfriend after finding it on the OT app and we were both really impressed with both the quality and value of this place!
The Flat Iron Steak and the Chorizo Meatballs were stand out for both of us but there's plenty more on their menu that we want to try out too!
