Loved this place. We went for a special anniversary meal and the restaurant even got us a card and decorated our table! The beer and wine list is extensive and very varied. The food is outstanding. We had mussels for starters, ribeye steak for main and and waffles for dessert. We did want to try the shrimp but it was sadly forgotten from our order which wasn’t a problem as we were already stuffed! We will try them next time we visit.

Will be recommending to our friends and family. Excellent food, super friendly staff, lovely restaurant, great location too. You MUST try this place!

Lived in Maidstone for 3 years so can't believe I've only just used this restaurant. My loss!
Lovely independent eaterie with an amazing aray of very interesting beers. The menu offers dishes that you wont find anywhere else in Maidstone. Our meals, the Cod with veg and the breaded huge meatball were very tasty and perfectly cooked.
The very understated owner gave me great advice on my beer choice and the chef came out to check we were happy with the meals. Lovely touch.
We will certainly be returning and very soon.

The food was fine but not great. The restaurant is nice and comfortable but there were people drinking at the bar which made it feel more like a pub, fine if that's what you are looking for but not what we were anticipating.

Following initial acknowledgement service was slow and we had to ask for an order to be taken; only one other table being used at the time. Starters were very poor indeed lacking in flavour and soggy in texture; the croquettes and calamari. Waiter was very new to tray carrying and almost spilled drinks at our table. Main course mussels started to make up for it; plenty of them, good flavours, lovely bread and fries on the side. Good vfm mains. Ok but needs to improve staff training and ability and quality of starters.

Food was very very god but drinks were overpriced. We do not go out very often so we want value for money. We do not to have to take out a mortgage to have a drink with our meal. We have been to other places that have had food as good but drinks are far cheaper, we would love to go back but pricing needs t o be sorted

Sat outside as it was a sunny day. We had mussels and they were lovely. The table was a bit small for all our dishes but it was our request to sit outside. Tried some of the Belgian beers and were guided by the waiting staff. Service was excellent and friendly.
