It's delicious but expensive.
Very good experience. We were seated right away for our reservation time during this busy day. The ambience and decor are lovely. Service and food very good.
Perfect! . NY IS BACK!
Always love Fiorellos. I think the pizza is my fave in the city!
We enjoyed lunch outside on a beautiful day. We were seated closer to the sidewalk which increased the noise level from road traffic. Both enjoyed the Ott rose to start. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was very good -- rich with egg and cheese. Caesar salad with grilled chicken was a perfect summer entrée. Service was efficient and pleasant.
The experience started from the minute I checked in with the person at the outside front desk. The professionalism exhibited during the handoff to our table prompted me to exclaim "Whoa"to myself. The waiter, Kevin, handled all of our requests effortlessly. He made this evening very enjoyable. The food was great!!! Oh,did I mention there were five of us. We will spread the word that this is the place for great food and great service!!
Always a good meal. Best to be outside.
Good NY vibe.
This was not our first time at Fiorello, by far. But it never disappoints. Well recommended.
Alas, one of our all-time favorite local restaurants has decidedly declined in recent years - it began to do so prior to the Pandemic, and has now even more so. Grumpy waiter seemed annoyed to be at work; never checked on us or offered a 2d glass of wine, etc. Food came out within 5" of ordering -- not making us feel relaxed or confident that it had been freshly prepared. The vegetable tart was inedibly insipid; the Spaghetti Carbonara gloppy and greasy. The wine glass was as thick as a coke bottle and the wine itself -- I know that better quality can be had for even the lower price ranges of bulk ordering. No oil or butter was served with the bread, even though we had to pay for the bread (which had the effect of making us feel nickel-and-dimed. The floor was littered with food droppings; the whole place looks dingy and grimy. I used to love bringing people here. This time I was embarrassed.
really incredible food and service! only thing that was not ideal was the street noise was very distracting with outdoor seating
Awesome as always
This local Lincoln Center haunt is the perfect place to go for delicious comfort food.
A staple. Always a great place to go and they treat you like family.
Fiorello is a consistently great restaurant. Food is tasty and the portions are sizable. Additionally, everyone that works there is very professional and makes sure you have everything you need.
Lyndon and Ruben are fantastic and the food, the Dover sole yummy
The food was not as good as it used to be
An old favorite, it hasn't changed much. Food fine - seemed a little pricey - and it was nice to be back in an old neighborhood hang.
Food great, waiter totally accommodating . . . what more need be said!
Fiorello's never disappoints. Service and food are always outstanding. It's a bit expensive, but I always come back anyway!
For me Cafe Fiorello is a neighborhood restaurant. There are many great Italian restaurants in Nyc, and Cafe Fiorello is certainly one of them. Professional staff and a variety of seating options. The Veal Milanese is my favorite. And worth noting is the expert cocktail service offered.
Our granddaughter loved her evening out with her grandparents as did we; food was good, prices fairly high, ac not working all that well but all in all it was a nice experience.
It’s a lovely restaurant that is abs
Food was very good if a little pricey. Service was excellent. Sat outside and it poured but didn’t feel it under the huge umbrellas. Great pizza and nice Sauternes.
Great service and the food was excellent!!
A consistently great meal in a fun atmosphere. We had vegetables from the antipasto bar, fish dishes and pasta dishes. And gelato and espresso for a finishing touch. Lovely dinner. Thanks!
My favorite neighborhood restaurant! I’m never disappointed at the quality of the service and food. Fantastic all around!!!
When I arrived a little after 6, to get seating for a meeting with a distant relative I did not know, the restaurant was almost completely empty, but when I asked for a booth, I was told that the booths had to be saved for parties of four. I have been eating at Fiorello's for 40 years and know that is not true. I was made to sit near the front window (t was chilly there, and it was where a huge party gathered later and waited for along time to be seated.) When I went to the bathroom I saw at least 5 booths with only 2 people in them. This is not good service to someone who has been coming there ff and on for so many years.
I've eaten at Cafe Fiorello for years and years, and must say that it's much more enjoyable with Covid protocols in place — less crowded means less noisy and less rushed. But the food is as good as ever, even though prices have inevitably gone up.
My wife and I had a lovely lunch. We’ve been customers of Fiorello for many years and have never been disappointed in any way. I will always give this restaurant 5 stars in every category. Jim Icken and Jeanne Wagner
Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner.
Ordered the mixed seafood salad appetizer & chicken cacciatore entree, both of which were very good. The entree portion was huge & I took 1/2 of it home & will enjoy again at home.
Excellent all around as usual. Much enjoyed. We were well taken care of.
It was a bit too pricy but otherwise fine. Food and service were excellent.
The meal was excellent both in terms of the food and also the service. Domenico, our server, was helpful in recommending dishes, attentive to our needs and friendly! Thank you, Domenico!
limited menu (due to Covid?) missing many great items.
Veal (milanese) i got was dry and had just a few cherry tomatoes on top - what happened to the salad that is typical for this dish?
server was curt.
Expensive, but pleasant atmosphere eating outside in the shade on a nice afternoon. My quinoa salad was good, but it had avocado rather than artichoke as the second main ingredient. It was plenty for a light lunch. My friend had a pizza, which she said was tasty, but the crust was so thin that she was glad she only had the Margarita because she didn't think it would hold meat or other heavier toppings.
Food is consistently good but oh so pricey.
We love Fiorella, a Lincoln Center Classic. Fine Food, Very Good Friends, & A Light & Peaceful Surround. The Window Table was Very Much Appreciated. Excellent Still Bottled Water for Purchase, Abundant Vegetables, & a Kindly Staff. A Refined Experience in one of the Most Beautiful Cities in the World. Very Close to the Ballet & Theater.
