We really enjoyed our dinner however it the music was FAR TOO LOUD.
Food is alright, dessert was excellent, and the service was extremely slow
Good was excellent. Service was slow. Music was loud
The grilled cheese (Halloumi) on sesame seed bread was delicious and the portion was generous.
Went for breakfast late in the day and both ordered the same thing so not representative of what they offer in full. Pancakes were okay the rest with it was great, coffee was good, service and atmosphere were great
They ran out of red wine (?!?!)
Food was great! Serving was big. Our server was amazing!
This venue is adorable! Large windows letting in lots of natural light, bright colours and feels so open! They also have patio! The portions are huge and so so tasty. I had the Sinia Kebab and I would get it again. The service was excellent! She understood the dilemma of trying to choose when everything sounds amazing. Definitely will go back!
Everything amazing as usual. This is my go-to spot !
Excellent food, great service! Very friendly staff.
Love Cafe Landwer for brunch but for dinner it was just okay. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing (except for the hummus starter - that was fantastic) and our server was difficult to find when we wanted a water refill as well. I'll definitely be back for breakfast and brunch at some point but not for dinner again.
Everything was fabulous, as always. Pierre the Manager, always professional, courteous and a pleasure to be with!! Great way to spend a Friday evening in the summer
We had a good time and the service and the food were great.
This is a pretty good restaurant for breakfast or lunch but definitely not dinner.
The food was decent but not excellent by any means. I could not say that any of the many dishes were delicious. We had tabouleh, cauliflower, salmon, pizza, haloumi and more.
It was quiet so we could easily hear each other which was very lovely catching up with our friends.
Service, food quality, staff all was more than great, very happy with my experience!
Great place great food . Highly recommend this place
My wife and I were at the Cafe last Saturday night and we had a light supper. It was just fine, and, by the way, the service was superb.
However on Mother's Day, the previous Sunday, I was very disappointed. My order of Wiener Schnitzel was way-overdone; hard enough to make a couple of soles for my shoes. I didn't say anything, not wanting to spoil the pleasure of the ladies present at the table.
I hope next time I come, the quality of the food would be more to my expectations.
Definitely not a place to hold a conversation as the noise level was deafening. Food and service was good so would come again but not to converse with anyone.
A justifiably popular downtown restaurant with reasonable prices for delicious and innovative food.
Amazing food, great service, a great tine.
I went to Cafe Landwer for dinner. The restaurant is bright and airy. Our server was friendly and gave us great recommendations. Our table ordered the roasted eggplant in tahini, schnitzel and the sinia kebab. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. We ended our meal with the chocolate fondue which came with homemade marshmallows and strawberries. Perfect way to end the meal. It’s a great place to have a leisurely meal and catch up with friends. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
Lots of variety to satisfy vegetarians and non-vegetarians, all very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.
Cafe Landwer has great vibes. The food is amazing and the location is awesome. I've been in large groups and dined solo and the quality is always top notch! The service is consistently good -- would absolutely recommend!
Pretty good overall but very open and got seated right in the middle, would have rather had a little more privacy towards the side somewhere or even the window.
The service was lacking. The server keeps forgetting things for us, for example, when we asked for water refills and hot sauce both were forgotten at two different times. Food was fairly good.
I have been to this location twice now and find the food is average to below average. Maybe it’s the kind of place where you have to know what to order. Any specialities other than coffee?
Great atmosphere 👍🏼
Best schnitzel in town and fabulous Mediterrean choices.
I was at Cafe Landwer in Israel and was excited to try one in Toronto. Perfect that they take reservations. Food was delicious
Lovely experience. We’ll be back!
Great place, close to the opera. Make wonderful Viennese schnitzel the way it should be. 😄Chairs could be a bit more comfortable.
It is a great place to eat as it has good variety for people with allergies, but it would be great if the restaurant could offer better quality options for their gluten free bread as it was heated inside a plastic bag, that made it feel like a soggy piece of white bread.
Service is fantastic.
This is my 4th visit to Landwer. Love the ambience. Everything is good except the tomato soup is too salty... The mango sorbet is perfect!
Good food and service.
Great to find a restaurant with so many vegetarian options, and lovely food!
Great Ambience I had the Landwer Chicken schnitzel with couscous. The chicken was great the couscous was a little bit dry. Their service was good and the prices were just right!
The service at this restaurant was exceptional! The food was delicious! We 4 ladies were able to converse and hear each other easily! They were so accommodating! What an excellent choice!
Relatively new establishment. Excellent service, not rushed. Bright interior.
My partner had their famous schnitzel which she found a bit dry, otherwise very tasty. I had the French Stew that I found flavorful and fulfilling. Carrot Cake was shared for dessert and was delicious. Washrooms needed attention as they were messy.
I've been here twice now and both times were amazing. Service is quick and friendly. Be sure to get the Nutella Latte (hot or cold) - it's the best drink I've ever had!
Food delicious & service professional and everyone smiles!
