Cafe Monico Ratings and Reviews
When we arrived it was packed straight into pre-theatre scheduling and staff was a bit all around so service was a bit slow. But food was excellent and a very charismatic manager solved all our problems . Good food, good wine and good ambience we had a great time . Becoming more and more a regular .
I took my friend here for a Birthday Treat as I had been here before and had enjoyed it. I think the set menus give a great choice and you can always go "a la carte" for an even wider choice. I like the way the restaurant is on the first floor, overseeing the bar area and the atmosphere is great. The food was delicious and pretty good value. The service was great too. My friend was suitably impressed with my choice of venue! What more could you want? I will certainly come back and would also recommend it to others.
A beautiful place much exceeded my expectation in every aspect. I loved the feeling of art deco, the wood features, antiqued mirrors, velvet cushioned seats, delicious food and pleasant waitresses. The website photos do not do it justice . Thank you we enjoyed the experience and will be back! :-)
My partner and I throughly enjoyed our visit to Cafe Monico. Everything about the restaurant was perfect, staff, atmosphere. Sadly my partner had to send his steak back because it was over cooked, but it was not questioned and was served another steak cooked perfectly in a short time. We would recommend it to anyone and hopefully when in London again will dine there again.
Had a wonderful meal at cafe Monaco before seeing les mis. I had the avocado toast and side salad. They were very plentiful and delicious. Toast had what seemed like an entire avocado on it and two poached eggs. The restaurant is right next to the theater. Highly recommend!
The waiter was super helpful from which wine bottle to recommend, the Merlot from Venice was amazing! Also the most popular dishes, as there was too many that sounded delicious. We had the calamari and mushroom brushcetta for starter, rib eye and sirloin for main which was cooked to perfection. All the staff were super attentive without being over bearing and a pleasure to talk to. It was a lovely evening for two as it was my man's birthday and we both would definitely return!
Outstanding service . Outstanding food. Compliments to all the staff. Loved everything about this place . Very Reasonably priced . Our waitress couldn't do enough for us. Loved the window table . Highly recommended . We will return here on our next visit to the theatre. 😀😀
