Diners can unwind with a cooling, fruity daiquiri, or a stylish pomegranate margarita. It was lrettt
Impressive tequila selection! SO happy to find this kind of cuisine in London!! YUM!! We will be back … often!
Cafe Pacifico is one our favourite restaurants and certainly our favourite Mexican restaurant! We have brought friends and family and it never disappoints. This time we came with family from Florida and we had a wonderful time. We are already booked to come back with friends at the end of February :D
The experience was lovely, from arrival to our leaving the staff were pleasant, attentive and extremely helpful. The food and drink arrived promptly, it not only looked good but tasted delicious. A lovely meal in pleasant surroundings.
Nice place to have dinner with a good cocktail. It is a good place to have only a drink as well
Food excellent. But we had a very forgetful weighted who either forgot our drinks or got them wrong and also forgot our starter and our main came out first
Seemed to be short staffed. We had to wait for service and finally ask for a waiter.
Good location and good food and drink, bit pricey, tips manipulated in to giving 12%, service fair to good professional (rather than genuine, like it is at a chain)
The food was great and the service was quick and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the mojitos! Would definitely recommend to others.
I have been going to Cafe Pacifico for numerous years. Always good service and great food.
Great food but little bit pricey not sure why when ordering fajitas the guacamole & cheese are additional charges??
Nice restaurant, tasty food, friendly staff and also children friendly. We liked it!
I love this restaurant, it's the best Mexican on this side of the Pacific. The food is amazing, the drinks are spot on, the live music is authentic and the staff are so cooperative :)
Good experience. Food was yummy but a little bit cold and the atmosphere was lovely but not great for a small get together as it’s quite noisy. I would however go again and recommend to others
Great food and great service.
Lovely food, good choice for vegetarians. A little noisy at times.
The best salsa I have tasted anywhere. Margarita Rumba mmmmmm
Very good food, the only but could be that the tables are too close one to each other
Food is overpriced, not even traditional Mexican cuisine. Definitely was I'll the day after because of the food.
We were really looking forward to returning to Cafe Pacifico. We really enjoyed our last visit.
Unfortunately our waitress' miserable face, disgusting attitude and overall appalling service completely spoilt the entire experience. She completely sucked the life out of it. Such a shame.
Great authentic Mexican food with an authentic atmosphere
Worst and most overpriced Mexican food I’ve ever had. Save your money and avoid.
Just a lovely place, great menu and very lively.
Location is perfect.
Cafe Pacifico is as good today as it was 15yrs ago. The food is great and so is the service.
The margaritas are a must, they don’t scrimp on tequila!!!
Great place to go with a group of friends or family.
Best Mexican we've had in London. Amazing food great cocktails
First visit back in what has to be 10 years and still this place doesn’t disappoint. A location where you think it’d be a case of quick to take the tourist dollar and average food but trust me this is not the case. The staff were fantastic, left us alone to enjoy the food and ambience but attentive and on hand when needed. The food was delicious and a proper social dining experience for the 7 in our party. Brilliant cocktails where they don’t scrimp on tequila. We will not be leaving it another 10 years until our next visit. This is a great place for families looking to eat in the Covent Garden area. See you again soon Mi Amigos! 😘
Nice Mexican right beside covent garden underground. Great for theatre and only place in London that has chimichanga. Bit noisy. No ac which is a problem in summer.
We’ve been here a fair bit over the years and the food is always up to a high standard and the service excellent. Tonight for the first time we decided to have a starter of nachos. Big mistake. For £9.50 you get corn chips with cheap cheese that hasn’t quite melted. Absolutely awful and this falls short of their usual standards. Everything else was excellent though!
Love this place... Been coming for years.... Never been anything but great food and value.
I’ve been coming for many years to cafe Pacifico and very sadly the food was disappointing this time. Nice service, nice atmosphere but not The tastiest.
Great food and drinks (especially margaritas). Service could be faster and more attentive but overall very nice experience.
Good service and good food
Menu is more authentic than last time I was there.
Downsides: I ordered tacos al pastor however the presentation was interesting but meat with the tortillas on the side cannot be listed on any menu as tacos
- guacamole (which was nice and fresh) served in a ramekin with a few tortilla chips, £7.50?? I’m sorry but that is really poor value. I thought it must have been part of the main course I ordered, but to my surprise it wasn’t
Music should be adding to the experience, they could have Mexican music rather than indie rock
I’d return but would avoid the overpriced guacamole and try some other main course
Great dinner thanks
Amazing food, good busy atmosphere but service also really good
Weird Tacos al Pastor with no flavour, the Nacho with Chorizo looked like no nachos I’ve ever eaten before. Not coming back
Service was wonderful. Great staff. Service very quick, if not a little too quick. Didn’t breathe between courses before next one set down!
Table was disappointing. Squeezed beside a pillar.
This used to be one of our favourite restaurants when we would come into the city, however this visit was very disappointing. The noise level was so loud that conversation was impossible unless you shouted across the table. We had prebooked a table weeks in advance and asked for a nice table as it was our 10th anniversary. When the staff showed us our table, we were wedges tightly among other tables and so close that I could hear the neighbouring shouted conversations. The food was mushy, we ordered burritos, the portions are much smaller, but no matter as the food was mushy and tasteless. I don’t think I will be coming again nor recommending to friends as I have in past. It’s quite a shame as Cafe Pacifico used to be a diamond. Now it’s a pack them in, shove sloppy food at you and get you out, overpriced for what it is now kind of place.
Excellent welcoming smile - very good fajita with margarita. Highly recommended
Great food and perfect location
Great Mexican food - excellent selection and great service.
