Waiting staff were helpful and provided a great service. We ordered a number of dishes to share between a group of us and all the food was really good. Great selection of interesting and different salads.

We ate at Cafe Route prior to going to the Arcola theatre, which is very close. We have a very good meal and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was good with very generous portions. Service was excellent - lovely, friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food and with a theatre deal on top represents excellent value for London!

5 fellas out for a few beers finished our walk around Dalston. Found this restaurant online and it was a surprise to find such a good place in an unlikely location in the middle of apartment blocks.
It was excellent food and very good VFM
We will go again

Excellent pre-theatre meal. Enormous choice of salads, small plates and main plates. We ordered a main plate each and 3 salads to share between two. It was too much! The char grilled lamb was delicious and the imaginative salads to die for. My companion had the pork souvlaki which she loved but couldn’t finish.
We were quite early so it was relatively quiet but filling up as we left. We will definitely return!

We were very pleased to find such a gem in the neighborhood where we were staying for our London holiday. The food included imaginative twists on Turkish or Mediterranean staples, and we found the ingredients, preparation and presentation were all excellent. It was a bargain besides!

We all loved it. Cool but also friendly and charming. Delicious food.
