Our first visit to this new location of our favourite Indian restaurant. Cyrus & Pervin were as always perfect hosts. Menu wise we were not sure if the new 'Tapas' style menu would suit Indian cuisine, but it does, with expert advice from Pervin you can try many different dishes instead of the usual starter & main options. I wish them every success in their venture.

Superb food, spoilt for choice on the menu. We asked for help on what to choose and we were not disappointed. And to complete a fantastic dining experience we were greeted by Cyrus himself and his good lady wife. Cyrus is a food hero of my husbands and a thoroughly nice guy. The staff were so helpful and at-tentative. Overall we had a meal on a different level to any other Indian meal we have had and it was a fantastic experience. Thank you cafe spice.

We were celebrating my birthday and there were 6 of us for lunch on Saturday 11 June 2022. We had a warm welcome from the proprietor and we were looked after by attentive and skilled staff that made for a relaxed dining experience. The food was excellent with an interesting collection of dishes curated by Mr Todiwala and his team of chefs and all served in a 'tapas style'. The home made pickles, chutneys and sauces were a treat. Cyrus Todiwala is very well known for his innovative take on Indian food and we were delighted with everything. As the host of the lunch I was surprised with being presented with a lovely chocolate cake and a sparkler to end a perfectly lovely afternoon with the family. Café Spice Namaste's location is quite far out on the DLR but worth it for both the food experience and the open aspect of the dockside, the river view and watching the planes land and take-off from London City Airport.

Another birthday and another visit to this lovely restaurant. We were a party of 8 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully cooked food. It’s great to be able to sample so many different flavours in one visit. We were very well looked after by the staff and Parvin was particularly welcoming. An unexpected birthday cake from the restaurant topped an already lovely evening. Planning the next visit now!

First time at Cyru and Pervin's new restaurant and we weren't disappointed. It was wonderful Indian food served on small sharing plates. So tasty and full of flavours. Cyrus and Pervin are also brilliant hosts and make everyone feel special. nice location which can only get better as the area develops around the docks. I visited Cafe Spice Namaste for the first time on Saturday 21 May 2022 with my family. The place had great atmosphere and service was brilliant. It's a very relaxed and informal setting with great views of the docks on three sides of the restaurant. The food was fantastic! Everything we had was our first time of trying it and was blown away on each dish. You can either approach the menu as sampling lots of smaller dishes or a more 'traditional' approach where you just had a main, side and dessert. You felt more like you were visiting Cyrus and Pervin's house for a dinner more than going to a restaurant. Both were frequently chatting to customers and creating a great, warm atmosphere. The staff were really helpful and friendly too. Certainly won't be the last visit, we're already planning the next trip in a months time!

We spent a most pleasant evening with friends at the newly opened Spice Cafe Namaste, eating outstanding food - it was a special evening with a taster menu. The food was beautiful but tasted even better, the balance of flavours and spice was just perfect. Service and hospitality were always great at Spice Cafe but everybody seemed extra energised in this new location, which is fantastic, with beautiful views of the East London docks. Easy to get to with DLR/soon Elizabeth Line and we are so happy to finally have a local restaurant of such great quality. We will return many times for sure!

It was easy to book a table and we were welcomed in a most friendly way. The food was among the best we’ve had in the country. Having been given a voucher as a 40th Wedding Anniversary present to use in 2020, Covid lockdowns and a change of premises from Prescot Street to the new venue at Gallions Reach, it was worth the wait! Great location on Albert Dock, we watched lots of planes coming in over us into London City Airport. Staff were amazing, friendly and attentive enough. Food was exquisite, Indian "fusion" dishes, great selection of starters in a tapas style. Facilities were immaculate and the whole ambience was simply classy and understated. Suffice to say we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our anniversay, albeit almost 2 years later than planned.

A must for any lover of fine indian food. Unfortunately there was a party on their mezanine floor so was quite loud but this probably isn't the norm. Food was excellent tried 5 of their small plates and then had a main to share. All cooked perfectly. Will defo return and recommend to all.
