Caffe Concerto Stratford The Street
it is an ideal place to stop over during your shopping for a cup coffee or tea and a slice of cake.
I love coming to CC.
Desserts are lush, people are friendly and there's always a good vibe. It's so chilled.
The dessert was nice, the food was ok.
The service was top, the ladies that were serving us were very very polite and nice!
Ok so food nice very nice I only have the wild mushroom and chicken risotto and it's always fantastic and my partner had Salman she loved it. IV booked befor and with the eat out to help out I thought it would be best to book, however it seams like they pay little or no attention to bookings there was a queue out the door and we were told that a seat would become available within 10 minutes which we were. Then us and the table next to us had 5 fly's buzzing around us nearly the hole meal when I complained I was asked "what do you want me to do about it" lol this I feel was an off day for them we have been more than a few times and the food is always good.
I've booked to celebrate with friend her birthday and when we went there staff told us that they are too busy and haven't got table for us. Very disappointed!☹️
Our server Alexandra was wonderful, so attentive and friendly with my daughter. The smoked salmon pasta and chocolate gateaux was especially nice. Was a wonderful experience.
Great experience
Very nice, quite simple. We both got a glass of rose and a burger. Nothing too special about the burger and probably wouldn't have been worth it with out the EOTHO discount. Three large glasses or rose worked out cheaper than a bottle even though they tried to get us to have a bottle, glad I did the quick maths. The waiter staff were lovely and offered us many ways to order safely and efficiently. If going for a burger, find somewhere else but, the pasta and afternoon tea looked nice.
The fish and chips was delicious
Lovely food, reasonably priced and helpful staff even during these trying times
Really poor experience, food was not fresh and staff was quite rude- won’t go back!
Pleasant outside terrace at the caffe concerto, where one can enjoy a glass of wine and a very good Caesar salad.
Customer service needs to improve the lady with the glasses Alesa was not very welcoming. But the food was nice and the other day was nice.
Nothing wrong with the food but unfortunately no social distancing and staff did not implement it no signs and people not carrying out social awareness not in a hurry to go back
Serve is very quick and friendly. Meals were delicious. Prices, I thoughts were a little high, but not excessively so. Would definitely come here again.
Booked, but restaurant was closed! Very disappointed, why Bookings was available?
I just love their creppe. It is so good my everyday dessert and never get bored of eating it.
Although the staff were very friendly I did not enjoy my dinner. First the food we ordered wasn't tasty, the pudding was not available as there wasn't much left to order .
Overall experience it is not as nice as other concerto restaurants in the west end.
Staff very attentive, helpful and wonderful. Divine cakes and delicious coffee. Lovely ambiance 👍🏽
The booking was a disaster. I rang forward to say that i was on my way. The lady whom answered the telephone was dismissive. We were supposed to collect a birthday cake and to consume it on premises as our treat. On arrival we were told that the cake was to be collected upstairs and dismissed promptly. Once we located the concession stand, i presented the receipt. The lady serving us was nonchalant and again dismissive. There was no where to sit and nothing to eat the cake with. The cake was not as expected per the description. We were only in London from Dublin and had to fly back without eating the cake and thus binned it due to the lack of seating and amenities to have our treat as our table downstairs was not available. So disappointed.
My wife and I stumbled upon the restaurant during a shopping spree and was delighted with our first visit.Staff were excellent food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. We have re visited now 3 times and have enjoyed every moment.
It was a very pleasant experience to dine at Caffe Concerto New Stratford. I would recommend this location for quiet lunches especially while the weather is still great.
This is my favourite restaurant in Westfield, great food, great value and halal.
Outside/marquee seatings to get very cold and not ideal whilst weather is poor. I would recommend only eating here if there are seats available indoors. Their lamb shank is my favourite dish- cooked to perfection
Took a friend out for her bday, tried this place out for the first time. Overall was a good experience but somethings let it down. First thing the staff didn’t know about open table reservation, were completely clueless. secondly their non alcoholic mocktails which were extremely bitter! We had to send them back and get regular 7up unfortunately. Starter was good the hot bites sharing flatter, mains the escalope wasn’t great too dry and not much flavour, the mixed seafood spaghetti was really good, and the desserts were lovely.
I requested to get my favourite slice of strawberry gateux put aside for me but as I got there I found out that they were finished. Clearly no one had checked my special request section during my booking.
Very disappointing. Too cold at the table and a huge bill for very little
Slow service and poor food quality, waitresses tried their best but were understaffed.
On arrival the restaurant did not seem interested in the fact that i had a table booked and they had not kept a table to be available for two of us. At first we were shown to a table outside which was too cold and then we were asked to wait which I said was unacceptable. Soon after a table was found and things went reasonably well after that. The order was taken reasonably quickly and the food arrived a short time after. Quality was good and service courteous. Probably will not go back due to our table not being reserved and would not want that again.
Pleasant pre match meal with good food and draught Peroni. Very efficient service without fuss. Good menu without anything too fancy.
The venue has a nice charm and elegant look from a far but on closer inspection it appears to be worn down destroying the good feel; the sofas had holes and clearly were a lot whiter in the past, the tables had nicks, scratches and marks from previous diners and the general feel was a bit grubby past the heavy lit interior. However due to the shape of the place the use of space was efficient and didn't feel like I was sat on top of the table next to me.
The service was standard at best, nothing wrong with it but nothing special however the 12.5% included service charge is somewhat a joke considering there was little character and robotic service.
The food was okay again - nothing to rave or post to social media, the presentation was a little poor with the plate being beefed out with as much green leaves as possible to give the illusion that the portion was bigger than it is. The food standard is what I would expect for a lot lower price, with most mains costing nearly £15 I'd have expected a little more finesse and flavour - I could have cooked the same meal from M&S or Waitrose just round the corner, got a bottle of wine and a better desert at about 25% of the cost.
The cost of the meal for two people was a joke. Way too expensive for so little - it begs the question of where does the margin from the food go, clearly not in the service or quality.
All in all standard food and service with an okay atmosphere for a hefty penny. Wouldn't recommend or return.
We got there after booking a table only to be told they don't accept bookings
Food was good.
Service was atrocious, table position was at one end and when the next table was occupied, the waitress was physically unable to reach the table. Plates had to be passed over the diners on tbe adjacent table
The waiting staff were overwhelmed, just rushing about to try and cope, unsuccessfully.
By five o'clock our first two dessert requests had sold out.
The service staff were doing their best, but there were not enough to cope with demand.
Better resource management required for stocking desserts.
Would not go again.
