The waiter didn’t even acknowledge me when I arrived. The chef happened to come out and ask if I was ok and said I could sit down. Fortunately a lovely waitress arrived that served us and the food was delicious as always

We booked a table for lunch time, but when we arrived no table had been reserved for us, luckily they did mange to get us a table for four. Not impressed, especially as I had a text to ask to confirm my arrival, for which I did,. Food was ok.

Booked a table for Fathers Day and requested a high chair. This was unavailable and was told we would have to wait until one came free, not ideal with a 1 year old. We waited 25 minutes and no one came to take our order. Table next to us had been waiting 45 minutes and had no food, so decided to cut our losses and leave. Such a shame as we were then unable to get in anywhere else that day. Terrible service.

Had a lovely brunch here with my friend. Food was good and reasonable value. The coffee was great. One small criticism is that it was tricky to get the attention of the waitress. She seemed quite inexperienced.

Booked a table for six guests. Glad we booked as the place was full. All staff really pleasant all working hard and being kept busy. Food was lovely as usual and good value for money.

Lovely family run business , amazing Wayne Woodward singer. Everyone must see him. Created an amazing evening. Would have liked a bit more menu to choose from. Lighting was high. Would have been nicer to have lighting dulled. But that said. A great evening.

We were served the wrong wine. Although it was not very busy service was poor. When I asked for the bill just the card machine was presented so I asked again for a bill. The wrong ( more expensive) wine had been charged. There was no apology from the rather surly waiter.

Was a very busy time when we went for Sunday brunch. Staff is very friendly. Food is ok; my order, which was eggs royale were fine but, my husband’s panini was a sad affair though as the bread was of cheap taste and the cheese wasn’t properly melted - felt rushed. Our food also took a while to get out of the kitchen though the drinks were alright. Nice location though and I’d consider going back opting for a less busy period.

The staff were very quick to get us seated and take our order which was soon ready. Unfortunately my granddaughter managed to knock my full cup of coffee over but the staff were very quick to provide paper roll and cloths to mop up then very kindly replaced the coffee. Good food, hot coffee (!!) and lovely staff. Only problem was we were sitting right under the speakers for the sound system and it was quite difficult to hear each other!

Always a pleasure dining here. The food was perfect, service great and price spot on. We had our table for a couple of hours with no time restraint which was fab. High chair available for our baby of the group. First time taking my mum and she absolutely loved it! Will definitely be returning 👍

Despite booking a month in advance, and a follow up telephone call to confirm booking, the café had no record of the booking. Staff managed to find us a table after 15 mins and gave us a 10 per cent reduction. They also apologised. I enjoyed my food. The café was very busy.

We went for lunch on Saturday so obviously the ambience was different from dinner time, but since we were meeting for the same reason as most other customers - friends catching up, it felt perfect. The food, service and attention was simply perfect. Highly recommended!
