5 of us went for the Curry night and it is amazing. Sides and 3 mains and only £12.50 per person. Excellent food and service. Plenty to eat but we did find room for a lovely dessert. Chef is from Sri Lanka and runs this night once a month. Would definitely recommend and will be back next month hopefully.

Catch up with a friend to celebrate my birthday. Lovely setting, great staff. Food and drink really nice and sunset was an added bonus.Lovely countryside hotel.

Food was good but service was terrible. There were only three tables and three members of staff but I had to continually go to ask for things. Just really poor.

I would recommend the Sri Lankan curry night. Held every month and is £25 for 2 people. 3 mains and several sides. Amazing value for money. Setting is beautiful and watch out for the sunsets. I'll be making it a monthly visit.

We went to the Sri Lankan curry buffet night. Our waitress was excellent. The food is great, authentic SL - the chef is Sri Lankan - and it’s incredibly good value. Murrayshall Hotel should promote these evenings more effectively!

Meal was very nice. Only thing we didn't like was the seating. Being that bit older it was a struggle to get up and down from the high table & chairs. If we were to dine there again we would request low down seating. It would have been nice also to have the water iced rather than lukewarm.

Went for the Sri Lankan Curry night and it was very good. Food was really tasty and plenty for the 2 of us although we did finish with a dessert from the normal menu. Staff were all attentive. 1 suggestion would be to put a jug of water on the table rather than just filling the glasses when requested. Minor point but would make the difference. We will definitely be back as the setting is so lovely.

Wonderful meal served by knowledgeable, attentive, welcoming staff. We will be back again! If we’re splitting hairs, the room layout was a bit strange, table layed facing the fire escape and wall, but no so much it was off putting. Just noticeably strange. The food was wonderful and the accommodations made for my vegetarian partner were perfect!
