Bankside is also home to our impressive jamón counter, with a selection of impeccable quality Ibérico black pig hams professionally carved by one of our highly trained cortador de jamón.
We’re open everyday for lunch, dinner and everything in between.
Great food, great service, great setting. Just a little noisy, so not the place for a nice, quiet dinner.
Amazing food. Great atmosphere, staff were perfect and brought out churros with a candle as we said it was for a birthday celebration on the booking which made it really special!!
Authentic Spanish food, lovely atmosphere and good service
All the dishes we ordered were great and recommended!
Very nice tapas at a very convenient price.
Definitely will go back.
I've been to Camino several times in the past, but hadn't been for a while. The food is quite expensive for what it is, and the portion sizes have definitely shrunk. The albobdigas were the smallest I have ever seen: one tapa was just four meatballs, not much bigger than marbles, and cost £6.75. The calamari special was particularly poor, only three tiny pieces between four, and we had to complain to get a fourth piece. The pan con tomate portions were also much smaller than my last visit. Camino wouldn't last five minutes in Spain. Super disappointed, and I won't be going back.
Terrible service and quite expensive for what it is.
Lovely sunny day, so great to sit outside. Great food, interesting menu.
All our food came at once!!!! Daft but it was excellent and great wine list. A very noisy restaurant- unpleasantly so for a while.
We went there last Friday and I must say that staff was lovely and food was incredible!!
Lovely meal, great to be able to sit outside. Food was good value, as was the wine.
We were well looked after, and had the most amazing food, cant wait to come again.
Weekend meat feast delicious, plentiful and good value
We like this place, a lot. Good that they gave us an outside table - not all restaurants take bookings 'on the terrace', which slightly baffles us. But this was a warm evening - hence, quite a lot of beer with our meal!
Food is always interesting - the dinner menu, slightly different from day time - and always packed with flavour.
Staff are very pleasant.
We'll be back - and we seem to bring more friends each time we come...............
Nice place for standard Spanish tapas. Service was very good. The place is very busy and noisy.
Off the tourist track with delicious food! Enjoyed everything we ate... can recommend the mixed grill, baby squid and octopus. Delicious! Won’t leave it so long to go back.
Amazing food, quick service so ca just keep ordering. Highly recommend this place
Everything was good but one of the items we ordered we never got.
Service was terrible, staff couldn’t have been less interested or helpful if they’d tried, we repeatedly had to to chase up food and drink orders, no flexibility with a food allergy one of the group had, and then were charged for food we didn’t ever receive, so poor.
Good service but half of the food and drinks menu was not available to order!
Pleasant little place. The food is not the best tapas in town but well done, and good portion sizes. The ambience is a little flat but the staff friendly and attentive. I will visit again.
Really liked this place. Food was really tasty and the staff were lovely.
Great food, outstanding ambience and good service all rounded up with a tasty pitcher of sangria and the most tender piece of pork meat I have ever tasted. Great evening and will definitely be back!
Good service, good tapas, just very loud music which made conversation difficult - and not really the kind of music that sets any kind of ambience - maybe some kind of sound proofing between the seated table areas and the bar would be better!
Disappointing experience. At arrival there was nobody FOH. When someone did turn up they could find no record of our OpenTable booking. Eventually another staff member came and managed to seat us. Restaurant was very obviously understaffed - long wait to order and drinks were extremely slow to arrive. Will not be returning.
Tried fir first time, not disappointed
Great, tasty and interesting food in a bustling settling. Good ambience and no sense of being rushed
We had a great girls lunch - we always come here when visiting the Tate Modern. 6 dishes for 3 people was more than enough and I had some delicious and very welcome free birthday bubbles. Standout dishes were the Iberico pork shoulder and sautéed mushrooms and butter beans. We also always have the chicken skewer. They also do a good selection of gin and tonics. Good relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. There is a good outdoor seating area when the weather permit too.
Had a lovely meal at Camino. We had a variety of Tapas and all were cooked beautifully and tasted great. We finished off with Churros and the chocolate dipping sauce was the nearest to a Spanish dipping sauce I have had outside Spain. All washed down by an innovative Seville orange mojito
Generally good but I was disappointed that the restaurant appeared unable to serve a dessert with an ice cream (which was also on the menu) instead of a sauce, even when I offered to pay separately for the ice cream.
As always, delicious food, great service. They had forgotten one of our dishes but once reminded, they quickly delivered it.
Great food, though small portions. slightly spoiled by noisy background and not at all cosy atmosphere. Would not recommend for a romantic encounter!
Delicious food, great service. Convenient fir Tate Modern. Will definitely visit again.
Great food - hard to chose what to go for. Even better staff!
Thanks for the great day.
The food was tasty although not as hot as one might have wished. Prawn helping was small and likewise the meatballs. The service was ok friendly staff. Good setting, beautiful tiles, but way way too noisy towards the end of lunch
Best olives. Could have had music in the restaurant.
Fantastic food as always, friendly service , lovely location and great atmosphere, we will be back
Amazing food, order the black label jamón which was £14 and we received 3 thin as tissue paper slices - nice experience to try this but not worth it for £14, everything else was great
Ive been to other branches of this restaurant, but this one was not one Id like to repeat. It was a thursday lunchtime so fairly busy but our initial drinks order was taken then we were told they werent available. Not alcohol but smoothies and juice. Not impressed. Food wise, the cheese fritters were warm not hot, the chicken skewer (why was there only one?) was too pink for my liking. Service felt quite slow. The best bit was probably the almond tart for dessert. Not great all round.
I first experienced Camino at Kings Cross where I took my girlfriend of nearly 2 years on our first date and to find a locatin that was literally 2 minutes from the hotel we were staying is was fantastic luck and I didn't hesitate to book a table. The food was as good as I remembered, the staff were excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. I've told a lot of people about this place, especially the Iberico meatballs and the sauce they come in. To be honset, I would happily pay for a bowl of that sauce and plenty of bread to mop it up. Fantastic restaurant and I will be back again.
