Bankside is also home to our impressive jamón counter, with a selection of impeccable quality Ibérico black pig hams professionally carved by one of our highly trained cortador de jamón.
We’re open everyday for lunch, dinner and everything in between. Join us on weekends for our happy hour from 4pm-6pm!
Great food, though small portions. slightly spoiled by noisy background and not at all cosy atmosphere. Would not recommend for a romantic encounter!
Delicious food, great service. Convenient fir Tate Modern. Will definitely visit again.
Great food - hard to chose what to go for. Even better staff!
Thanks for the great day.
The food was tasty although not as hot as one might have wished. Prawn helping was small and likewise the meatballs. The service was ok friendly staff. Good setting, beautiful tiles, but way way too noisy towards the end of lunch
Best olives. Could have had music in the restaurant.
Fantastic food as always, friendly service , lovely location and great atmosphere, we will be back
Amazing food, order the black label jamón which was £14 and we received 3 thin as tissue paper slices - nice experience to try this but not worth it for £14, everything else was great
Ive been to other branches of this restaurant, but this one was not one Id like to repeat. It was a thursday lunchtime so fairly busy but our initial drinks order was taken then we were told they werent available. Not alcohol but smoothies and juice. Not impressed. Food wise, the cheese fritters were warm not hot, the chicken skewer (why was there only one?) was too pink for my liking. Service felt quite slow. The best bit was probably the almond tart for dessert. Not great all round.
I first experienced Camino at Kings Cross where I took my girlfriend of nearly 2 years on our first date and to find a locatin that was literally 2 minutes from the hotel we were staying is was fantastic luck and I didn't hesitate to book a table. The food was as good as I remembered, the staff were excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. I've told a lot of people about this place, especially the Iberico meatballs and the sauce they come in. To be honset, I would happily pay for a bowl of that sauce and plenty of bread to mop it up. Fantastic restaurant and I will be back again.
Always good. This was a pre-matinee lunch, and very nice it was. Great flavours. Staff are pleasant. This can get noisy , so daytime is better for conversation.
We went on a Monday night so it was fairly quiet but still about half full. The staff were warm and friendly and very attentive. All the dishes were good but the Black Rice and Iberico ham were amazing . There was a good and very reasonably priced wine list which does carafes as well as bottles for most of its wines. Would definitely go back.
We've been there a few times and never had a bad experience.
The menu is varied but not so large that you're overwhelmed by choice.
My only slight complaint is the lack of vegan options.
Extremely poor food quality.
I am Spanish and I believe this is the worst Spanish food I’ve had in London so far....
Staff and ambience were both good, quick attentive service. Nice lively atmosphere. However, the chicken skewers had a unpleasant texture, meatball sauce quite oily, potatoes bravas wasn’t great either.
Headed to Camino as pre-theatre for the Globe and it was perfect. Great, authentic dishes, excellent service and a fun vibe. Pretty noisy in the bar so we sat in the restaurant.
Fantastic food and great service on NYE. Despite being full the staff were exceptional and ensured we had a great experience. Tapas selection was extensive and without exception our choices were superb. We will return without a doubt and have already recommended to a number of friends.
Really nice place. We ate from a set menu but if that was that good then I’m sure the food on their menu is great!!
Very nice dinner on New Year's Eve, with various tapas, good quality and taste and reasonable price, especially for a NYE dinner. Had dinner with my family in a nice and cozy environment.
This was our second time at Camino and the food was just as good as we remembered. Highly recommend Camino, great food, nice ambiance the music was a bit loud but otherwise we will be coming back soon.
Great food as always. Friendly staff, buzzy atmosphere and a brilliant gin selection. We will be back (again)
I visited Camino Shoreditch before and I really liked the food, also it was a much bigger venue. However Bankside is quite small and cramped. Waiters/waitresses bump into you when they run around. It was extremely noisy even though we visited on a weekday evening (maybe busier than usual due to Christmas period) Food arrived very quick and quality was good. But even though food was good we couldn't enjoy our evening due to the busy and noisy atmosphere.
Delicious food and great service. Delightful for an evening out with friends.
The food was nice but the potions are very small so it’s not good value for money . They are not generous with bread which is a shame.
Great tapas and attentive service. A bit loud in the restaurant when the bar is busy, but a great place for food, wine and company. The tapas choice is varied with excellent sauces and attention to detail.
The restaurant was very quiet on a Saturday evening. Service was ok. I thought the tapas were expensive given their relatively small size
Good restaurant. Dishes come a bit quick which makes it less relaxing tan it could be but other than that, good vale, fantastic services and good food
Was nice food but very over priced so very small dishes. Cocktails were nice and most of the food did taste well
My first visit to Camino. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Attentive service and with a smile. I was entertaining a business client and he also said that he enjoyed the Camino experience. I am a regular visiyor to Spain so I can say the food was authentic. Just add some sunshine and a beach next time.
This is the second time I've been to Camino. On entry, we were not attended by anyone for some time which was irritating. The waiting staff did not mention that someone would be with us soon. Once seated, the first thing we noticed was that it was very noisy. It was really hard to have a conversation. The food and drinks were good, and arrived promptly. We were not offered deserts or tea etc but the waiting staff did ask several times if we were finished with our food and it seemed that they were anxious for us to leave. Food was good, but service is dissppointing.
I've liked Camino for a long time. I do get a bit fretful if they change the menu - thankfully, this doesn't mean they ditch the classics, so it's still a safe bet.
Chicken - with some amazing sauce with chipotle; warning - it's addictive. Duck - tender as anything. Tomato bread - always superb.
Added attraction on this occasion were cocktails. I've had a few [?!] espresso martinis in the past year or two........wow, this was the very best.
Staff were welcoming and efficient.
OK, we probably spent a bit more than we set out to, but with a decent bottle of tempranillo, £40 a head is decent value, for a reunion with a lovely comrade. We strolled along the South Bank in a slightly tipsy and very garlicky haze. Perfect.
Tasty & reliable Spanish cuisine, in a pleasant location.
Music from the bar made conversation almost impossible, so for dinner with four other friends after a visit to the Tate, this didn't really work for us.
For a young crowd after work on a Friday night, probably great.......
everything was really good up to the point where we were not given a sweet But we were not worried as we had had far too much anyway
My only problem was hen we came to pay for the wine and coffee we ordered
The meal was aPart of a Virgin experience and the food itself was paid for
We were asked to pay for a wine we had not ordered and the cost of the food
This took some time to sort but we still PAID a 12% service on the whole cost of which we were only liable for£20.50
Because it was a treat for my wife on her birthday I did not make a issue of it
But so saying we would go again
Good food, reasonable price and nice atmosphere. No issue in altering table size from original booking
Great food. Good value. Lovely atmosphere. This was our 3rd time here and we will definitely be coming back again.
Went before the theatre, can eat a decent meal in an hour and a half. Quite loud and busy on a Friday night. Staff were a mixed bag some helpful some not. The food was very tasty.
Chose Camino for some Sunday night tapas - although it is a chain, the food was surprisingly good, the black rice and the special (braised veal with lentils) were particular highlighlights. All the veggie choices we had were tasty, only the patatas bravas were a bit underwhelming. Service was friendly and helpful, food arrived very quickly. Reasonable choice of wines and beer too.
Nice range of tapas - all tasty but nothing blew me away. Good location right next to Tate Modern. Would certainly go back.
Thought it was overpriced foe the quality of the food. Won't go back again.
Nice selection of good quality tapas and an excellent glass of wine - just right for pre theatre dinner
