Nice selection of good quality tapas and an excellent glass of wine - just right for pre theatre dinner
The food here is absolutely first class and is excellent value. My third time here (and certainly not my last) and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Good food, good wine, excellent service and very good value for money.
I was not expecting the high-level of the food. I was very impressed. The octopus, the gambas and the rib eye were excellent! The service is very good and quick. In a sunny day, with the outdoor terrace, is a very good place to be!
We had an amazing meal here, very authentic Spanish Tapas, so much to choose from, it was hard to pick only 6 dishes! Highly recommend the black label iberico ham - it literally melted in your mouth! Great, friendly service and a good ambience.
Attentive and friendly staff. Good quality tasty food. Nice decor. Would recommend for anyone who likes a bit of Tapas.
Food was fine, as was the service. But why accept reservations for dinner at 2215 (and indeed 2230) if last orders for the kitchen are at 2230? Ended up being a not-cheap case of order/eat/leave asap....
Good Food, wine and Atmosphere, Would recommend to friends and hope to visit again in the future!
Booked a late dinner with my family on a Friday night after watching a play at the nearby Shakespeare's Globe.
The good: food was great.
The bad: TOO LOUD at that time of night, probably because most patrons are already drunk. My young niece was miserable from the loud noise so we requested a table outside, but was turned down because they say they closed that section already. Not accommodating at all!
Not recommended for families.
Awful! So very noisy and food was no where near as good as last time we went to Camino at Kings Cross. And scruffy looking as well. We could leave quickly enough. Lovely staff just cannot compensate for so many faults. Best avoided.
I loved Camino so much that I actually went with my dad there 2 nights in a row. My dad also went back for a third meal for lunch the next day. Such great tapas - we loved all the food and the amazing drinks. Really recommend the Twisted Root drink 👍🏻
Lovely food and not badly priced wine for London. Camino is a lovely restaurant, perfect for tapas following the Tate Picasso exhibition! Service was quick, but a bit to quick to clear the table while we were still eating - probably wanted the table for another customer - so we felt a bit rushed, but the waitress was very friendly.
Food was amazing, really easy to order and explained by the really helpful staff.
Only down side is smoking at the tables when sitting outside.
It’s really simple. Go across the road if you want to smoke
Great fresh Spanish tapas place with seating outside, wonderful in the hot weather!
Wonderful food and wine and not too expensive....great value. The staff were great, friendly and so helpful. Looking forward to returning.
Lovely staff and atmosphere, would highly recommend for the sharing plates and the service. Great alfresco dining area too!
This is what it is. Casual dining. It’s perfectly good for a quick bite to eat but don’t confuse it with an authentic tapas offering. The food is perfectly adequate but not great. If you’re after a quick bite to eat it’s fine. It’s quick, service is very polite. It’s clean and the seating is comfortable. It would probably appeal to groups as well who want an easy after work option
Fantastic way to end a trip to the Tate Modern! Just out the back door, the food is authentic Spanish, good value and worth a visit!
I can't fault the food at all: best tapas I've had in London. The service was friendly, if a tiny bit slow. My only complaint was the large screen TV outside showing Wimbledon. It was as if flood lights were being shone into the restaurant every time a bright image was shown onscreen. In addition, it was very loud. But that meant it was lively, which was good too.
Food was fantastic, we had a number of dishes but most notable were the baby squid, spinach salad, black pudding, bass ceviche and the meatballs. Service was a bit slow (although food came out really quickly), but to be fair it was busy with the after work drinks crowd. Love this restaurant would definitely recommend it, especially if you are planning on doing a Tate Late.
Had a lovely lunch with friends in the terrace watching the World Cup. Very good authentic tapas and fair price! Good jamon iberico.
Loved it and cannot wait to go back! Great food and a real Spanish G&T
Great food and friendly service!
One of the better central London Caminos in our opinion, due to the Bankside location and the ability to sit outside. Lovely atmosphere and a good selection of tapas plates, reasonably priced (tho not cheap). Downside for us is the music, which is more suited to a bar or club than a tapas restaurant, but they have it in Monument branch too, so this seems to be the vibe they are going for. Not too bad if you’re sat outside, but inside it therefore feels more like eating in a club than a restaurant.
No fuss, tasty tapas dishes. Good atmosphere. Service always seems to be excellent - attentive and very friendly. Great place to go for dinner with a partner, on a date or with friends and family. Restaurant has its own bar too which is great if you want a drink before sitting down.
The food was absolutely delicious (particularly the specials menu), if you like tapas, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent service, attentive and informative but not too in ones personal space, fab tasting food. I've traveled in Spain a lot on business and vacations and the food in Camino is equally as tasty if not better than many Spanish bars I've eaten in. I can't recommend a particular dish - because it was all good. Tiny word of warning, the gambas in oil and garlic has some meanly hot little chilies in - beware my wife ate one down thinking it was some roasted garlic!
Had a lovely time celebrating my birthday, all the staff was extremely friendly and the food was great. Will definitely go back again.
Great Food ,Great Staff, very accommodating will return.
Very attentive service as we were there 6pm -but had to wait a long time for drinks once it got busy ! Food really good !
Authentic Spanish food. Fast friendly service
Great tapas and excellent wine. Good choice for vegetarians.
Service was good, nice location. Food was okay, better at the King’s Cross branch
I had booked a table, it was a lovely warm evening and when we arrived at the restaurant we were offered a table outside. The service was exceptional, the food was fab and our waiter had a good knowledge of the menu and wines. My friend and I were very impressed and will be coming back. Ideally located if you have visited Tate modern as we had.
Had an amazing meal at Camino, with great wine and lots of delicious tapas. Good value for the amount of food, and really high quality and authentic options! Service was a bit slow but it was quite busy so that was understandable.
Very disappointed in camino. We have been coming here for a while, and it has just suddenly gone down hill. Waiting staff under too much pressure to push us to drink up, order, clear up, move on, even though the restaurant was half empty and they had no lTer bookings on our table. Not a relaxing experience at all. Menu hS also changed, for the worse. Won't be going there again. It's such a shame!!! P
Great food and a buzzy atmosphere. We had a good meal with 8 dishes and a drink each or £75 for 3 people. We especially enjoyed the risotto, chicken skewer and peppers.
the squid ink rice - the main reason i go. love the flavours. it's a very lively place. good memories.
Fab food, lovely staff. We all had a great evening and will definitely go again!
Great food and a very enjoyable evening
