Camino Bankside Ratings and Reviews
First class food, first class service. I just felt that the restaurant itself is a bit open, not cosy like some of the tapas bars in Seville and the like. But then I am getting old. But our waiter and waitress were excellent and as the food was so good, then the ambience was not quite so important
Came early, pre theatre, for my mum's birthday and had a really lovely experience. The service was excellent: friendly and attentive without being overbearing, no problem to move when we were joined by more friends and our waitress picked up on our inexperience with tapas and suggested an alternative squid dish to the one we had selected which turned out to be delicious. The food overall was excellent and we would certainly return again... and again! Thank you for a great start to our evening.
Really lovely meal, lots of fun, nice atmosphere and very helpful and friendly waiting staff- nothing was too much trouble and it added to the atmosphere. Food was lovely too- a great selection of tapas and a wine list. It was the perfect location for a date and we even got to play table football outside afterwards. My second trip here and wasn't disappointed!
Very enjoyable evening, busy bar area but staff are friendly and efficient. Great cocktails!!
Plenty of outdoor seating and although we had a dinner reservation there was no pressure from staff to go in at time booked to eat.
Great customer service, with plenty of recommendations happily given if decisions are hard. Plates are for sharing and we enjoyed a variety of tapas washed down with Rioja's (both white and red) and all was delicious.
Great place to enjoy a socialable and relaxed time.
this was a great brunch offer - i went into thinking the food and refills might be less then average due to the price but that was not the case - everyone who served us was lovely and they made sure we made the most of the bottomless. the tapas was delish too. Franky was our server and he was an absolute delight.
recommend this place 100%
What a great night. The food was outstanding, the service, friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere relaxed. I would (and have) recommended to friends and will certainly be back.
(And a big thank you to our waitress who rustled up some candles for our dessert when she overheard us that it was a Birthday celebration)
Great place for outdoor dining in the sunshine. Food was fabulous as was the Special Sangria. Waitress was just lovely and really looked after us well.
We did have to track down the waiter to get our bill then he forgot about us and we had to go back in again to get him to come out so we could pay - not great when you've a train to catch but overall we gave the venue a HUGE thumbs up.
