Camino King's Cross
Our lively bar and restaurant sprawls around a hidden courtyard, coming alive in the Summer, full of people enjoying a frosted mug of Spanish cerveza, a glass of sangria or a sherry from Pepito. With outdoor heaters and plenty of seating, it’s often busy on even the coldest of evenings.
We’re open everyday for lunch, dinner and everything in between. Join us for our Spanish breakfast during the week, or our popular Happy Hour at the weekend. The bar at Camino is always buzzing, with DJs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays playing the best Latin, house and party sounds until late. Always free entry!

the food is good if a little pricey. the wines were nice service good and sitting outside is great, heaters if cold.
Always wonderful. Staff/ Food/ Ambience. Thank you.
Good value in London for tapas friendly service, no hurry to vacate table
Really enjoyed this place. Staff very friendly and food good.
Good service and extremely nice and polite waitresses served us. Food great. Our table was almost too small to hold all of the dishes!
Amazing food and wine and service and a lovely atmosphere but initially when we arrived for drinks, service was a little bit slow and disjointed as we had been seated elsewhere away from the main restaurant and lacking staff but otherwise a really lovely experience and all the tapas was so tasty! Great helpful waiter at our table
Good location, nice food and great service. We stayed at the restaurant but the bar area also looked very good.
Friendly staff, everyone wearing masks. All tables distanced. Food was lovely and I was able to log-on to WIFI to work as well.
Excellent all round
A delicious mid week lunch - not many diners so we had very attentive service. £20 off the bill (continuing the 'eat out to help out' scheme) was an unexpected but pleasant surprise.
Best Spanish food in the area.
Great food. Very noisy and not helped by the reggaeton music.
Nice informal restaurant, friendly staff, good food and good value for money - like the fact that they continue the EOTHO discount even though the govt funding stopped in August.
We had great time, with delicious food and very attentive service.
Really tasty food and lovely food.
Food was lovely - I always see Camino as being a bit 'chainy' but I would have been happy to be served tapas that tasted as good as these if I was actually in Spain. Friendly service. Sweet sherry to go with the indulgent black coconut icecream dessert, only £4 a glass - which is really good value.
Really great food and ambiance! Met friends here for the first time since lockdown and had a lovely meal for a decent price. Would definitely recommend!
We arrived earlier then our table booking and were able to have socially distanced drinks in the courtyard. Our first drinks we had to order at the bar though, however this was queues out nicely approaching the bar. All staff were wearing masks.
Once outside, we had a fantastic waiter Lucas who kept checking on us and offering us more drinks as a table service. He was really friendly & his customer service was excellent and he helped us to choose the right wine & offered us tastings.
The restaurant hadn’t updated their details to the fact I had changed the booking time on the app, but they were calling within 30mins of the original time to check & had no problems when I said we had put the dining time back to a later start.
The waitress inside was lovely & took our order as soon as we were ready and the food was amazing when it came out. We were conscious of the 2 hour dining time but there was no pressure or rush and we were able to sit for longer then was booked.
Overall a lovely place & I would definitely go again.
Clean and Covid-19 safe! Attentive service and excellent food, despite being on the more expensive side.
Outstanding food! The restaurant was very busy and I sensed from the start they were busier than they expected to be. Service was a little slow initially however the team rallied around and worked very hard to get on top of the volume of orders. We had a great evening and will definitely be back. Well done to the whole team both front of house and kitchen!
Delicious food. We had the special 'Eat out to help out' platters which we thought were great value, and we still just had room for desserts. We also had a very good bottle of red wine, which was reasonably priced, on the advice of our server.
We were very happy to go out for the first time since the quarantine started. I've read some reviews before booking and I am disappointed. It is not a covid safe place, let's put it straight. We were served by FOUR people from which 2 to 3 didn't wear masks at some point. The waiter was wearing a dirty mask and was laying on our table while talking about menu. Others didn't care about distancing. I'm just hoping we didn't catch anything, really. Food was good as always, even with smaller menu but I won't be coming back there in any close future because of irresponsible behaviour of staff.
We had a very odd experience. It took us almost 15 mins to have our order taken, we just seemed invisible to the staff. Then a member of the staff asked us if we could settle our bill before our food even arrived, we weren’t sure why. Then all the hot food came before our drinks and our appetizers. The quality of the food was not great as well.
Great place not too far from King's Cross Station. Foods are tapas-style so it worth ordering a couple for a complete meal. Overall good experience, the service was a bit slow, but it was Friday evening...
That was a lovely way to return to restaurants, post-Covid. It was ridiculously quiet, the staff were attentive and the food was good. It had a lovely Spanish feel to it, only the prices made one realise it wasn't Spain...!
Definitely a new favourite place. I will be back.
I dined here with a friend as our first post-lockdown meal, we felt very safe eating there, we were able to easily distance from other diners, staff wore PPE and despite all this it all felt like business as usual which was lovely. Would recommend the Patatas Bravas and the Croquettes, overall it was a delicious meal and we can’t wait to go back
This was the first opening since lockdown - Saturday 4th July. Sadly the restaurant wasn’t fully prepared.
According to the site, they were giving two hours per table, yet we arrived for our 8pm booking to be told that we only had an hour-and-a-half. Twenty five minutes after sitting down (and with only croquetas and tomato bread) we were informed that the kitchen was closing in ten minutes! After some time the waiter came to tell us that the first of our orders - gambas - was off the menu, so we ordered other dishes. About thirty minutes later, we were asked, “You’re still waiting for prawns aren’t you?” We reminded them of their update, only to be presented with gambas, ten minutes later. Sadly, they looked and tasted like cooked prawns that had been dropped into garlic and butter. (I strongly suspected they nipped into Tesco to buy a packet.) Overall the service and food was confused, and the expectations not shared on the website.
Fortunately for Camino, we were just so happy to be out that we weren’t going to let anything spoil our evening.
Food was amazing - great this place is back.
Lovely meal and great service, just a bit too noisy which made conversation difficult. We had a lovely evening.
Very good food: only complaints on that count are that the oil used in frying the baby squid could have been fresher and the curly chicory salad was light on curly chicory, though the other veg it contained were good. In this time of coronavirus, it would have been nice to have spare cutlery provided for sharing dishes. Don't expect to have a civilised conversation as the noise level is far beyond the "energetic" provided as the maximum rating.
A place I've eaten at several times over the years and it never disappoints, top quality tapas.
Had to wait for ages to get seated even though we had a booking but once seated had superb evening. Great food & excellent wine recommendation by waitress. Would definitely visit again
Food was great, service was good. Very noisy in the restaurant though and the portions were pretty small. Left wanting more!
Really lovely experience for Valentine’s Day, wonderful service and absolutely amazing food
Sometimes informal tapas is exactly what you fancy.
After half an hour we had to ask if we could order food, and when the food came out a dish was missing. The food is nice but pricey, so I’d at least expect the service to be good. Usually it is but this time was a real shame
Camino was OK, but not sure I would do the experience again anytime soon. Tapas was OK, but really you don't get too much for your money and the wine was VERY expensive! £50 a head was eventually a bit steep for 5 of us with the 3 bottles of wine were over £100. Only booked here at 6pm because there was nowhere else available in KX on a Thursday night!
Loved this restaurant. Tastefully decorated, in a quiet spot away from the crowds heading to the station. I imagine the outside seating will be lovely on a warmer day! We had tapas - the dishes were varied and delicious. Love the well thought out purees that came with a number of them. Also enjoyed the puddings - the choclate cone with a scoop of turron ice cream was just enough and they even serve a cortado for coffee! The service was discreet but timely. Excellent all round
Great atmosphere and tasty meats!
The food was great. The environment was so nice. Service was good. Everything was just perfect. Definitely will go there again.
