Camino King's Cross
Our lively bar and restaurant sprawls around a hidden courtyard, coming alive in the Summer, full of people enjoying a frosted mug of Spanish cerveza, a glass of sangria or a sherry from Pepito. With outdoor heaters and plenty of seating, it’s often busy on even the coldest of evenings.
We’re open everyday for lunch, dinner and everything in between. Join us for our Spanish breakfast during the week, or our popular Happy Hour at the weekend. The bar at Camino is always buzzing, with DJs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays playing the best Latin, house and party sounds until late. Always free entry!

Consistently good food and wine. Knowledgable and friendly staff. Lovely environment. Easy to talk and also not be overheard - well unless you talk very loud lol
Have been here a few times and always love the food and venue.... We will return
Delicious tapas, very good service from the waiting staff. We went early on Saturday so it wasn't yet too busy, but the service was the right balance of attentive but not rushed. Good wine and food recommendations, overall a very nice experience, would go back.
Great service and food. Really nice experience . We had lots of fun and would come back again for sure
Had a fabulous meal here on Friday night
The restaurant was really busy but the staff were attentive and interested and served us quickly and in a friendly way.
Will definitely come back.
Authentic and delicious tapas. I would have eaten the whole menu of it were possible. Very attentive service, and quite friendly. The wine list is also superb. Will definitely go again.
A took a party of 8 to this venue at lunchtime and we all had a good time. Nice choice of food to suit all tastes and a good ambiance in which to do 'catch up' conversations. No problem in recommending to others
We arrived early & were rushing for a train but all worked perfectly! A good experience all round. I would just ask for more vegetarian options if possible? But altogether brill!!
Lovely food cocktails and wine . . Not the cheapest but a great gem 💎 in KX
Really lovely food, a bit pricey but to be expected in this area. Delicious food was only spoiled by our waitress; rude and brash, gave and charged us for a very expensive bottle of wine when we asked for the cheapest house wine and interrupted our conversations repeatedly very rudely to get us to pass her most of the plates and cutlery.
Authentic tapas and a great selection of dishes. Waiting staff were helpful and friendly. It is a pretty noisy place so not that great for a quiet romantic meal, but great for groups of friends or family or work colleagues.
Another good meal at Camino on a Friday lunchtime. Quality of the food is consistently good and staff very welcoming and friendly.
This isn't the easiest place to find; my sister and I walked from King's Cross station and ended up going in an almost complete circle before we saw one sign - and we were following a map! More signposting would be an excellent move.
This is a tapas restaurant, serving a wide range of dishes, sherries, wine and other drinks. We selected six tapas between us, two vermouths, a carafe of white wine and two black coffees, and with the service charge the bill was circa £76. We enjoyed the food - which is served as the dishes are ready, rather than all in one go - and the wine that our waitress recommended. Service was efficient and friendly, and we'll probably go to a Camino again.
Better than your average tapas restaurant with friendly staff
lovely service, good food, will defo go back !! waitress are lovely and friendly and nice. Best wishes, Elena.
Excellent food, octopus rice was delicious. Recommended.
Great food! A bit on the pricey side and the bar is quite noise so go to the restaurant if noisy places are not for you.
Really good food and excellent value, all came out a bit quick though.
We were placed on a table for two which was right by where everyone ( Staff and customers would walk by, one customer went by and knocked our small table to the side slightly. We were told by the waitress from the beginning that they needed the table back within two hours, ( not very welcoming). Some of the food was OK, but most, apart from the salad was tiny portions ( and yes I do know they were meant to be small but they were really tiny!) and one of the dishes which just wasn't nice at all ( big inedible spring greens which was supposed to be a special). When I said to the waiter I hadn't liked it, he just pulled a face and said thats sad! He didn't apologise or offer to have this dish taken off the price of the meal. The waiters were a bit over eager and would remove any dish we had finished with within seconds which made us feel a bit uneasy and difficult to relax. The service charge ( 12%) is included in the meal and me and my friend both felt it was an overpriced meal for what it was. Wont be going back.
Nice, tasty food.
The food was great as usual but we gave our desserts order only to be told 5 minutes later we needed to leave as there was another booking and a ‘queue at the door’. There was no queue and even if there was another booking they could have told us before we ordered! We had to get their attention to make the order so it’s not like we were sat at an empty table for ages. There was another empty table too but the waitress said we couldn’t use it. I’d never normally review a restaurant but I’ve never actually been kicked out from a place before after making an order! I understand it’s busy on Fridays but there is other ways to manage customers coming in and out your establishment. We were also going to order more drinks but I think the message was that essentially they’d made as much money out of us as possible so we should go. So a disappointing end to an otherwise great evening with lovely food.
This is the first time I have taken my husband and I had been raving about the food, in particular the Chorizo tapas dish. Unfortunately that dish arrived last and was luke warm quickly turning to cold which completely ruins the taste of the dish. It appeared they had forgotten to bring the dish earlier and it had been sitting around getting cold. Apart from that, the waitress didn't understand one or two of our orders but all in all the food, service and ambience were great. We would definitely give it another go but perhaps not order the chorizo next time :)
The tapas was as ever good quality. You don’t need to order more than 3 for a lunch.
Excellent value for money tapas as always at Camino
Camino is always good - food and ambience great
Delicious, food and friendly staff. Perfect atmosphere for a glass of wine and catching up with a friend
Wine a little dear at £37
Great vibe to the place on a Friday night, buzzing atmosphere and a lively setting. Fast and great service and great food too. If your in the area i would recommend to anyone.
Steak fantastic, cheese board really good, burger from the specials board lovely, service great. My girlfriends birthday, couldn’t or wouldn’t offer any thing special for her, ie balloons cake banners! Left a good tip really happy.
The food was great, but I felt that the service was a bit rushed. As it appeared that they wanted the table back. However I would go back to Camino’s.
Very prompt service with regular re-visits by waiting staff to top up wine and water glasses.
Well positioned for Kings Cross / St. Pancras.
The food here was amazing, really loved the atmosphere (although a little too loud if anyone has bad hearing/large groups). The waiters cleared the dishes away a little too quickly so we did have to ask them to bring some back since the food wasn't even finished, but they were very lovely and polite - just too good at their jobs! A lovely evening and place to go for dinner.
Pukka, took my girl she loved it! Birthday treat 😜
Would always go back...
Cannot fault Camino’s, from the service to the atmosphere to the food, all fantastic. Highlight for us was the Jamon iberico cebo, fantastic flavour.
The food was a pit pricey for tapas. The wine was excellent at reasonable price. We were 15 mins earlier and we were advised to go next door for a drink but it was too busy and noisy. We ended up walking around, when they could have accommodated us earlier as there were few empty tables. We were served quite promptly and staff was very nice.
Expensive for the number of dishes despite a discount being applied. Dishes are hit and miss and you need to know the best dishes to order
Good service, great menu at reasonable prices. Nice ambience as well, plenty of families despite the location which I liked. Will go back
Great service, friendly staff and good food. What's not to like!
Excellent food. A hidden gem of a restaurant in a convenient location.
Had a lovely lunch
