The food was excellent, the service was good, the wait for the food was a little bit longer than anticipated, but the waitress addressed that.
It is a neighborhood gem, Braintree residents are lucky to have it in their community.
Excellent. We continue to value this place. Always the best.
Great family run restaurant. Handled our large party efficiently. Food was great, service was great.
One of my party's order was put in wrong but it was prepared quickly when the error was discovered. It would have been nice for the manager to comp our app or that person's drink, but that didn't happen (we didn't ask for it to be either). Food was fantastic, and apart from the order snafu, the service was as well.
Party of 5 and everybody’s food was flavorless. First and last time there.
Awesome, great food and service.
Great food and great service!
Hidden gem. Food was excellent. It was a little noisy in the dining area.
Enjoyed our meal
Even though I will NEVER go to this restaurant again, i have to say the food was really good. I couldn't get over the overwhelming smell of bleach when walking in. Our server couldn't keep up with business, which was frustrating because she was never there when we needed her. Another woman that came to our table was extremely rude and argued with me over whether I asked for a kids cup or not (which I did not) The lights were up way too bright and there are way too many tables cramped into that small space. Thanks but no thanks.
Always a great place for a good meal.
The Campanale Family continues a long time tradition of serving fine Italian dishes.
Neighborhood gem. Staff, food excellent. We love it and hope more people try it as it is a gem for us in the area.
Enjoyed everything! Will return again soon with more friends. The menu is outstanding and fairly priced,
Good old fashioned Italian dining. Food was good, large portions. comfortable cozy atmosphere. Service was excellent. Very welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
Excellent- staff always attentive. Had Stephanie last Sat- she was tremendous. Donna we have had in the past visits- again tremendous.
Excellent neighborhood gem of a restaurant. Food, service, value is outstanding. Needs our support. Parking is available- just may need to look a little harder. Try it- you will like the experience.
Good food & good service.
GREAT local-family run- dedicated employees. Food was great as was the service as usual. Sorry to hear about their parking issues but there is parking available near by. Tough for a business to have terrible neighborhood businesses.
Hostess and waitress were great. The sauce was bland - nothing- actually had a flavor I could not recognize. My white wine was served in a glass that was warm- clearly just taken out of fridge. Way too pricey for subpar food.
I haven't been to Campanelli's in years and now I remember why I loved it. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was top notch.
Scallops over salted across multiple dishes. Vodka sauce for lobster ravioli is tasty. Excellent service.
Loud fun busy and friendly. Generous portions. Nice servers. Good times.
The food was outstanding, ambience lovely, service, slow to start but then ok. Only issue is parking, and hard to drop off my 90 year old mother near the door. Otherwise, loved it!
My husband, 2 friends and I have been here twice so far. It is very enjoyable - good service, excellent food, and comfortable ambiance. Parking is limited, but we have not had an issue with it. I recommend this for a nice, enjoyable, and relaxing night out!
The woman doing the seating placed us in the back corner next to the fire door and it was freezing due to a cold draft coming from the door. Asked to switch seats and she said they were full - even though just looking around the place it was obviously clear it was not full. Endured the cold setting because it was too late to bother going anywhere else and the food was horrible. Not a good thing to say about the food. The waitress was pleasant. Will definitely NOT ever go back.
Celebrating the start of the holiday season with friends.
Everything great, but the parking... There is limited on street parking and no real parking lot.
Our food was excellent as well as our appetizers
Filthy. Filthy. Filthy. Dirty silverware. Dirty plates. Grotesque tables (there was food left from the night before and crumbs caked in the seams of the tables that were clearly built up over years...so disgusting). This is what you'll find if you can even get past the unpleasant odor when you walk in the door.
The food and the service at Campanale's are always very good. We have never had a bad experience here.
The food at Campanales has been really wonderful for years and it is a great place for friends or family to connect. My favorite is always the veal piccata with a side of roasted veggies...
Their saltimbocca is excellent. I had the chicken and my husband had the veal. The portions are quite large.
Haven’t been there for years and so glad we went back!!
it was a rainy night so very quiet, which is fine. but slow service since they didn't have a lot of customers the girls were talking to each other vs. paying attention to customers. I made a reservation on open table and was supposed to get 100 points upon dining per my reservation but apparently the restaurant didn't put me down for my points. wasn't to happy about that. overall good food and I would recommend.
The food was excellent our server was awesome. Had a great meal etc
Several friends and I enjoy dining at Campanale's before attending the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. We have never been disappointed. As usual, last Saturday, our meals were excellent and the waitress was excellent. We look forward to dining at Campanale's in the future.
VERY DISAPPOINTED. 2 PEOPLE ORDERED SWORDFISH AND WAS RUBBERY AND DRY. ALMOST LOOKED FAKE WITH THE BRANDED MARKS ON IT. NEVER SAW OUR WAITRESS SO NEEDLESS TO SAY WAS NEVER ASKED HOW OUR DINNER WAS. ONE FRIEND HAD THE VEAL SALTUMBOCA SAID NOT VERY TENDER. OTHER DINNERS WERE JUSY OK. QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN CONSIDERABLY.
the food is always great, tastes like freshly made, great portions. Sometimes a lot of noise.
Campanale's has always been good for dinner. This time we went for lunch and was disappointed. We were a party of eight. The antipasto was lacking many ingredients (no pepperoncini and no prosciutto) , and the eggplant parm was "soggy".
