Cantina Laredo - Little Rock
We celebrated my daughter’s 18th birthday. We had a large table and sat the young adults at one end and the mom’s sat at the other. The food was great and our server was fantastic.
This was Valentine’s Day and I felt like the service was pretty good considering they were packed The service was a little slow yet understandable. The food was good, I felt the drinks were a little pricey. I would recommend this restaurant and I would go back. No restaurant is perfect yet this one came pretty close
We have been to Cantina Laredo twice now. We actually live two hours away and are more than happy to make the drive. The food is amazing.
Would be great if there was a way to modify entry so that huge amounts of cold air weren’t rushing into the otherwise great restaurant. ;)
We were seated 10 minutes ahead of our reservation time. Nice table right by the fireplace. The food was incredible and the service was great too.
I was satisfied as usual. But my wife's nachos were not very good. Will return but not order the nachos.
It was awesome.
My response to the maître de when asked "how was it," "9.98." Nothing is perfect but our experience was the next thing to it. Great service, delicious food, and enjoyable experience. Will most certainly visit again when back in LR.
The chicken plate I got the chicken was really small and dry like it had been cooked for a while. Won't order that again. I normally get the tres fajitas.
Have eaten here several times and the food was good. However last night the cheese enchiladas were hard and after I ate half of one hoping for it to be better in the middle, My wife told the waitress about it, we both had the same meal and hers were tough as well, and the waitress acted like it was a problem since we had eaten part of it. She ended up bringing another enchilada to make it better. That one also was hard.. 8 o'clock visit on a Sunday night was disappointing.
The guacamole was made with avocados which were not rip. They made us some more with a somewhat riper avocado.
We love Cantina Laredo!!!! The food is always well prepared and delicious. The service is super!!!!!
It was OK nothing more, nothing less
Best Mexican meal ever
I use this place on occasion for large dinner parties or receptions. Usually, it is great. However, my most recent visit (a party of ten people) was very disappointing. The service was slow and he was forgetful. When I asked him about the beer I had ordered 15 minutes ago, he responded that the bartender was backed up. Then, he brings me a warm beer and warm glass that had obviously been sitting out for a while. Other drink orders were slow to come or had to be re-requested.
The food was a disappointment. My reference is the red fish which I recommended. It came out dry and we joked as if we received a piece of sushi or if that was supposed to be the actual size.
They need to step up their game.
Consistent food for the money, even though it's an upper-scale chain. Service is very hit-or-miss, but good when you get someone's attention. In arriving at the restaurant a few times after making reservations through Open Table, it seems like whomever is greeting and seating clients is always a little confused and looking through things for confirmation it happened. I've always been seated, but I could see where it could be a problem if they were super busy. Drinks are smallish and overpriced for what you get, so stick with beer :).
It was great! We had a large party at lunch and they accommodated us perfectly. Thanks!
Great service! Accommodated my party of 20 very well. No complaints whatsoever! We enjoyed ourselves for my fiance's surprise birthday party.
The quailty and selection of gourmet Mexican dishes at Catina Laredo are excellent. The staff are attentive. This is a great restaurant choice.
We really enjoy Cantina and the food choices provide many great flavors. On this visit the restaurant seemed to be short of servers so the service was not to it's max.
Family get together
I have liked this place since it opened.
I can’t express how disappointed I was in the dramatic decline in all areas on this visit
We've been to Cantina Laredo 3 times in the last month and we have had great experiences each time. From the moment we step in the door to the server taking care of us. We certainly recommend Cantina Laredo and will come back often.
Order was wrong, service slow. Bad experience especially on a Tuesday.
The food was never great; but it’s really on a downward spiral! Fishy fish, cheese on Guacamole?? Indigestion for all!
The experience was everything! I took my sister for her birthday. She had never been and is sure that she’ll be back! Blair was amazing!
Nice restaurant for
Cantina Laredo is among our short list whenever we are back in Little Rick. Consistently good food, atmosphere and selection!
Everything was fine, just fine.
I keep going back in hopes that the food quality will improve. I had the carne asada, and it was pretty tough in some places. When this place first opened, the food was really good.
The best server !
We love Cantina Laredo! The service and food are always excellent!
Our business reserved a large table space. The staff at Catina Laredo were incredibly accommodating and professional. The service was quick and professional. The space was great for our reception, with great atmosphere and ambiance. The food was delicious. I would be happy to host an event here again.
Table was ready for reserved time. Which was great.
Cantina has really gone downhill over the years. The tableside guac is still good, but the ceviche is fishy (other Tex Mex places in town do a better job - El Porton) and the cheese dip is gloppy. Probably won't try happy hour here again. No drink specials.
Always great food and excellent service! The steak entrees are always cooked and seasoned perfectly.
The service was great. Our waitress was prompt and informative, without being pushy. Food was excellent. Good quantities for the price. It wasn't a quiet restaurant but there were some bigger groups having a good time. Note, the noise did not impede conversation. Definitely will go back.
Great place for lunch. Service was great and waiter was great 👍
There were 9 of us. I do believe the young man server may have been inexperienced because the service was so poor.
Took forever to receive first cocktails. Next round we decided to order a double because it was taking so long. It happened again. Server said bartender didn’t know to make doubles so he had to remake.
Not sure how much tequila is in the house margarita but we couldn’t tell if there was any.
The tableside guacamole ( which we did not specify that option). Was a bowl maybe half full! We ordered a second one. Huge rip off. At least fill the bowl?!
The Mexican plate entrees—-the beans were not hot just barely warm. The enchiladas espinaca were tasteless. Child’s Mac n cheese all in a big clump. Not soft and creamy.
So disappointed. Won’t return.
The Dallas restaurant by our house is 10 times better in every way than this location.
Although Cantina Laredo is a chain, the food is above average, almost Tex-Mex, but not quite. Mixed drinks are small and over-priced - stick with beer. Service can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are. The last time I was there they were preparing for a large crowd of people who prepaid for a tequila-tasting and dinner, so I am glad we got in and out before the crowd came. It's an easy choice when you want something "Mexican" on the whim, but not if you want authentic Mexican food. It just is what it is.
