The food, service and atmosphere is great. However, the extremely high noise level due to poor acoustics and uncomfortable chairs ruined our experience. We were unable to hold a conversation between the four of us. I am afraid we will think twice before coming back here.
One of my favorite restaurants. Great food, great atmosphere and very pleasant staff.
Great food & drinks
Good food! Relaxed environment, cute market shop!
The four of us enjoyed our dinners. Never disappointed dining here!
Consistent and enjoyable
Love it! Great food! Wonderful service...
Had 4 dishes. Entrees took a very long time to come out. All were underwhelming or had a very weird flavor. Will never return.
food was good.....romantic lighting good....service was great....a little bit expensive....3 meatballs for 10 bucks???? rigatoni for 18 bucks....meatballs 6 bucks...rigatoni 15 at most....drinks were expensive also....7 bucks each for singles....s/b 6....small glasses....yes I will be back but please look at the prices....thanks
Really delicious food, good service and cute store! We will definitely be back!
Excellent food and service. Brought my cousins from PA and said best Bracciole they ever had. Kudos to bartender, great cosmo!
Slow service, uninspired menu, small portions and a beautiful setting. Average. Nothing more, nothing less.
There were 3 in our party and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Red sauce full of flavor. Lemon wine sauce a perfect blend of flavors. Service attentive but didn't feel rushed. Only problem was finding the location. We were visiting relatives in DE, used GPS to locate the restaurant. Went around the block twice until we saw the cars in the parking lot. Could use a sign at the intersection to more easier locate the building. Wish they'd consider opening a restaurant in my home town.
We always enjoy dinner at Capers and Lemons. Happy to have had dinner outside in beautiful. We often find the noise level inside distracting.
Food was good we had salmon dish & salad
Waitress seemed distracted and didn’t check in with us at frequency you would expect.
We both had the "special" a stuffed pasta mascapone cheese, cauliflower and broccoli. Excellent.
Bring a friend for her first time and she thought it was great.
One of the best restaurants in the area. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. There is always a special or two in addition to the menu items. The wine list is almost exclusively comprised of very reasonably priced selections. Our serve recommended a special wine ( not on the usual list ) for only $32 a bottle that was fantastic.
We had a lovely experience on Monday evening on the patio, which was a quiet location and provided lovely weather. The food and wine were excellent, and Larry was an exceptional Server. He was very knowledgeable about the wine, as well as the entire menu. Exceptional evening!
Everything was tasty. Our server was outstanding!! We were there for lunch
A huge disappointment. Previously we’ve always had great food at this restaurant. I ordered Chicken Piccata with mashed potoroos. As I are the meal the texture of the chicken was tough and appeared over cooked, the sauce was very acidic and the mashed potato tasted burnt. I only picked at my meal and boxed the rest to bring home. With better lighting at home I could see the potatoes were in fact brown and the chicken definitely over cook and maybe old. I didn’t complain at the time because we were with friends and I didn’t want to spoil the evening as they had suggested we met at Capers and Lemons. I doubt that we’ll be going back anytime soon and will most certainly not be recommending this restaurant.
Food was wonderful. Easy enough to have a conversation. Wouldn’t call it a Romantic ambiance but it was enjoyable. All manner of dress.. comfortable but classy.
Anthony, our server was professional and attentive to our needs.
Outstanding service, food and portions.
I really like the servers at this restaurant. Their recommendations are spot on. Thanks Mark for the cheese board suggestions, they were delicious. The main entree on the specials menu was also yummy goodness. The sweet ending of Franjelica over butter pecan was the icing on the cake, so to speak. Great job!
We had a nice dinner on the patio an a breezy early evening with appetizers of the stuffed peppers, grilled artichokes and fig and gorgonzola flatbread. All delicious. Pasta dishes included with clams, pomodoro and sausage. I had the grilled salmon served over spinach and orzo with a little lemon caper glaze. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Only two small comments. The table was quite small (bistro size) and a bit challenging to fit shared hors d'oevres. Service was good when they finally realized that we were there. We were the first party seated on the smaller patio and I guess they forgot to let the server know. Last visit to the restaurant I had a yummy cheesecake for dessert, sadly no carrot cake on the menu. We shared a slice of cheesecake, also good.
Excellent service, food, ambiance
Our waiter was outstanding. Always a good time there.
The food and the service are always spot on. The place is sometimes rather noisy, but the experience is always worth it.
Love this place. Wish I could go more often but somewhat pricey but you get what you pay for!!!
Great service, friendly staff and stellar food.
The service was amazing. Thank you Rick for such excellent service and wonderful recommendations. Everything from start to finish was delicious!! I definitely recommend the cheese board and the summer corn agnolotti. The martinis were perfect for both a starter and a dessert finisher.
Nice ambience, good manhattan and martini. Shrimp in Shrimp Romano was overcooked, as another reviewer said. Veal saltimbocca was tasty, although traditionally it should be rolled. Had slow-roasted broccoli as a side, and although onions had been slow-roasted with the broccoli, the texture was mushy. I should have known better; I like my veggies fresher and less cooked. Server was a pleasant young woman but she didn't ask us if we wanted to order drinks - I had to ask. I wonder if they were trying to move us through faster to seat incoming people; on the other hand alcohol is a higher-profit item for restaurants than the food so maybe not.
Our server, Larry, was very personable and attentive. The food was pretty boring, however. The fried calamari had a nice texture but not much flavor. The pizza which my daughter was told would be spicy was not. My husband and I each ordered the entree special. Again, it was good, but not very flavorful. Overall we had a nice evening, but were disappointed in the food.
Great food! Service was above average and the prices are good... This place is a hidden treasure that I found. Will be back real soon!
Always love Capers and Lemons. Right atmosphere, great appetizers, and fantastic food. It is always consistent. Great place.
Staff was very nice and accommodating as we had a young child. Atmosphere and food were excellent!
Lemon cocktails great. Food was good but the shrimp in Shrimp Romano was over cooked.
