Always the best!
The wine in this restaurant is only Italian and generally far too expensive if you come for a pizza or pasta. Two of our party of 5 did not like their pasta dish.
Excellent as always
Excellent place for a business meeting! Fantastic food and service.
Always great food and service. This is a weekly haunt for us!!
Buratta pizza was incredible
Food was delicious and service was impeccable !
Enjoyed dining at this restaurant and will definitely go back. The waiter was great. He was very accommodating. Everything he suggested we tried And we enjoyed everything. One of the specials that night was a steak for 2 on a board with potatoes, mushrooms and rapini. It was delicious. One of the guests in our party of 4 wanted her portion of the steak a little more done. They gladly took it back and cooked it a little more for her. Great experience all around.
Had an editor from NYC in, for TIFF, so took him and companion to dinner at Capo. His second time - he was my guest last year - and he raved about the place again, and said he could see why it was my favorite restaurant in Toronto. I think it's the friendly and accommodating staff that is the signature for this fine eatery, from those who seated us, worked the bar and then waited on our table. Busy night, as Tues' is half-price wine bottles, but fed in a decent time and food was delicious.
I thought the food was tasty however we ordered your $29.00 special on Sunday and my husband and I were very hungry after dinner.
The portion of Branzino was ridiculous.
Should have been told by our server it was half a fish.
Great food! Good atmosphere!
We came to Capocaccia in July . We returned in August: we loved the caesar salad and seafood pasta (Fruit de Mer) . Unfortunately, we were disappointed : The Seafood pasta had been removed from the menu. We ordered a pizza, but wasn't our ideal choice of entree. Would like to see the Fruit de mer return to the menu.
As always an excellent dining experience. Lovely food and good wine. The service was first class too. The only reason I have not awarded 5 stars is that there was a very noisy group at the bar close to our Table. They were eventually moved to their table but that could have been done sooner and before we had to complain.
I took my 19 year old grandson and we had the best time. My pizza had beautiful tuna on it and my grandson had the Bolognese pasta. Both were excellent. We were sitting outside so it was a bit noisy but worth it. Our waiter was absolutely charming. Can’t wait to visit again.
Sunday night, pouring rain and my first surprise was a packed restaurant. That shows how popular the 'Cap' is. My second surprise, somewhat anticipated, was how the staff, from chefs to wait staff, handled the crowd admirably. In at 7, out at 9, including drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts.
We ate there a few weeks back. And although it was extremely noisy, the food was amazing! However,
Our last visit on Saturday evening was disappointing. Again, it was very noisy but the food was mediocre. Two dishes were sent back as they were cold.
I liked this place. I was there in my birthday.
Food was great, lovely setting. It was pretty busy, so service was a little slow. If you have the time to enjoy, it’s a great spot.
Delicious pizza and appetizers. Friendly staff. Nice cocktails! A neighbourhood fave.
I have been to the restaurant on several occasion and each time it has been wonderful.
the people and food is always amazing. I can honeslty say there is no other place like Capocaccia
Food sounds like it’ll be great but the quality of the food was disappointing.
Great Italian food. You can dress up or not. The food was incredibly tasty.
Amazing food, great service. On the pricey end for wines.
Excellent meal in great surroundings. The service was very good and the menu and wine list were top class. Overall a most pleasant experience.
From the time they seated us (and then moved us at our request to a quieter table, farther from the bar, with a smile), service was excellent. Food is always tasty and portions respectable. Having just moved to the neighborhood, we've made this our go to eatery.
The food is always fantastic, the ambience is superb and the service is wonderful.
I look forward to returning again soon!
Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is great. One of our favourite places to go.
Food was delicious as usual and, considering it was Summerlicious, the servings were very generous. The servers are always excellent and add greatly to the enjoyment of the meal.
Love Capocaccia! The food is always delicious. The service is always friendly and professional. It’s just a great “go to” place!
Excellent Menu and restaurant. There were a lot of people and it was very noisy. We waited 1 hour for the food. The meal was super fantastic though. The manager came to see us and because of the long wait he apologized and offered us complementary beverages. That really showed us this place has class. All 4 of us were very satisfied and happy afterwards.
Had a wonderful dinner. The summerlicious menus was great. Love the ambiance!
Great business lunch and then social dinner at Yonge & St Clair's best restaurant.
Was excited to try, we found the service very slow and did not have a dedicated server throughout the meal. Not one to write reviews, but was not impressed with the food either.
Our waiter was so friendly and engaging. I love the fresh blue decor and the fun atmosphere. We had the summerlicious menu and were delighted with the top-notch options and how delicious it was. Well done!
Love love love Capocaccia!! My friend and I shared warm olives and caprese salad with wine. After being allowed a lovely amount of time to chat and nibble, we then ordered pizzas. Mine was gluten free and was outstanding!! The crust was perfect and the toppings divine. My friend was equally happy with her pizza.
The service, the food and drink were all top notch!
Excellent and generous Summerlicious menu. Loved it all. Caesar salad amazing! Lovely patio.
We went for Summerlicious and the menu was terrific. There were five of us and none of us had been there before. We all loved it and would definitely return. It was an amazing lunch.
The pappardelle was especially delicious. As was the tiramisu for dessert. The menu has a pizza with gorgonzola, pears and walnuts... on my list for next time.
Overall the food was great. I had trouble finding a starter that I would like and did expect for there to be some form of bread and olive oil choice but other than that I was very happy. The pizza was great, a little bit oily but I didn't mind and the Nutella pizza was amazing.
