It was our first evening out after lockdown in a lovely local restaurant where all the staff were wonderfully welcoming, our meal was delicious and we had a really enjoyable evening.
Such a great restaurant always hard to get into which tells you popular they are , the service we get is always outstanding we have going there for over 20 years

Fun Italian, friendly service, well set up for social distancing
food was tasty and well prepared - thought the starter was overpriced other than that can't fault anything

The food was very good, the staff were friendly and efficient but the lighting in the restaurant was quite bright so the ambience was not as relaxing and comfortable as it might have been. There was no background music which could be seen as either good or bad but it was impossible not to overhear the nearest diners’ conversations.
Overall it was good and worth visiting.
I ate at Caraffini a few weeks ago for the first time, outside in a group of six, and I had the monkfish & courgette pasta, which I thought was fabulous. I booked to take a friend for his 70th birthday last Friday, and I didn't want to have the same dish again, although he had that as a starter. We both had the splayed chicken breast as our main, but I have to say, I was not bowled over this time. It was a bit ordinary and therefore a bit disappointing, but good value, and I would go again when Covid is over, when the atmosphere might be a bit jollier. The service could have been more attentive.

One of the best restaurants in London, proper Italian food cooked to perfection everytime. Old fashioned high quality service where they remember your name even if it has been 6 months since you were last there, great menu and wine list to boot.
Have been meaning to go to this popular neighbourhood restaurant for some time. But we found the food only average reminding me of Italian restaurants from yesteryear when there was not much choice.

Quiet and sophisticated dining.
We liked the food, but the sides were not served hot, more like lukewarm to cool. There is nothing worse, in my view, than side plates that are not hot enough. The fried zuchinni seemed like it was prepared some time ago, and did not taste fresh.
I had the Linguini Al Vongale, which I enjoyed, followed by the Calf Liver Special, which was very good.
My friend had an avocado salad to start, which she really liked, followed by Veal Escalope , which she also enjoyed.
The restaurant was almost empty, which gave us some concern.
We may return, but we feel like the kitchen did not live up to the reviews we had read.

Wedding anniversary trip and Caraffini being one of our favourite Italians in London we are always looked after. The food is always good and they have a few dishes we both love. Scampi & Avocado in a cheesy sauce with rice is fabulous and the Creme Brûlée is the best we’ve tasted anywhere . Service is always excellent and the restaurant is rarely quiet.
Went there because it was suggested by friends who live close to the restaurant. Caraffini was perfectly acceptable. Everything was good. The veal limon was nice and I found the orange segments in caramel sauce pudding intriguing. Overall, a nice local Italian place. If I lived in that neighborhood, I would probably go there often. But it’s not a place I would seek out.
I have eaten at Caraffini Restaurant several times and have always had a very good experience. This time during the Pandemic I have to say they handled the situation very well I was happy with the measures that they have put in place to keep staff an diners safe. As always the food and service was first class.
Lovely but could do with a few mor reasonably priced wine
Classic Italian food we had Spinach Soup homemade and the special pasta Paglia e Fieno which were excellent. Service is always very good.
