Usually love it here but think the chefs were having an off day!
Great food. But very noisy. The whole point of meeting with friends for lunch is to talk. We ended up almost shouting at each other. Please is the music necessary?
The food was great, lots of ambience, friendly staff. One complaint though: the allergen information on the menu is very misleading. There are several dishes that are listed as gluten free which are not gluten free! The menu needs updating to reflect the true allergen content of dishes.
Food was not upto expectation, quality of service was poor
Great fun place to meet some friends. Food and service was really good. Only criticism (if anything) wOuld be a bit noisy - but that’s party of atmosphere
I've been to Caravan many times and the food and service has always been really good. The food was delicious as always, however, on this occasion, the service was somewhat disappointing. Once our table had been cleared, we were left for close to an hour before having to ask a waitress for a dessert menu and order more drinks. The drinks then took 15 minutes to arrive, just as we were getting to ready leave.
Great food. Excellent service. Would recommend for breakfast
Great food, I had the hot cake which was delicious. Sat us a bit far from everyone else which made it a bit quiet but still a really nice experience. Staff were really friendly and not over-attentive. One of the better places open in the City over the weekend.
nice selection of food, lots of vegetarian options
Unfortunately I did not rate my visit. My coffee was served luke warm and weak. My breakfast of scrambled eggs and hot smoked salmon on sour dough toast was stone clod when it arrived and there was so much butter on the toast that it was extremely off putting. There are much nicer places to meet for breakfast in the City than Caravan. Would not recommend.
Great food. I had a dreamy slab on halloumi that I’d recommend to the cheese lovers. Great cocktails as well. Service was on point
Food is phenomenal. Not a fan of the dessert, but that’s my mistake, I didn’t read it was a vegan dessert. Service was good too & the restaurant looks amazing
Food was great as was service and coffee but we were put at a dreadful table. Couch was stained and I was surrounded by a thick curtain so all I could see was the kitchen. The place has lovely windows everywhere so it was disappointing as it was my first time there. In my view a good restaurant has no tables as bad as the one I wasn’t sat at.
Excellent waiter and food, welcome could be warmer and the room very noisy though granted it was a busy weekday lunch service.
They should let people know when the branch is closed for private events.
The food in this restaurant is outstanding, the staff are always friendly and the place has an amazing atmosphere.
Friendly service and an interesting menu
Fantastic brunch a Caravan City. Both the food and coffee were delicious, I haven’t given the food 5 stars as the sourdough toast was burnt and charred black in places but otherwise it was great. Really impressed!
Tasty, creative food. Great for a casual, sociable meal with friends
Great food, great service and atmosphere every time I’ve been.
Good spot for a City breakfast, decent coffee, good food, fast service
Excellent food. Ate outdoors where heaters helped take out the late summer chill. Commercial area, so less ambience outside but the fresh air was worth it.
The staff we're lovely and very accommodating for a big group with a baby as well! Food was great but they run out of some of the pizza options as it got later in the day, so I'd say go at regular lunch time for the full range. Still super tasty food and drinks all round.
Food was delicious with a really interesting menu - not the same dishes you see on every menu.
Staff were lovely and accommodating.
I had a great birthday brunch at caravan. Everyone enjoyed the food!
The food here was fantastic. Always good to get a breakfast menu with some new and unusual items. Staff were polite and friendly. Our food was a little delayed but worth the wait.
Great coffee and friendly staff. We couldn't quite finish the hotcakes though - very filling sadly.
The Margherita pizza was very disappointing. There was barely any mozzarella and only minimal tomato sauce. Much too dry. It’s a shame as the base was quite good.
Slow service “we are very busy” 😖 My healthy breakfast was very small but tasty. My colleagues loved their choices.
Great waitstaff and fantastic food.
One of my favourites. I go here weekly, great breakfast, coffee and people. Love their juices too. Also been for lunch and the food is fantastic and consistent.
Great place for Sunday brunch, really enjoyed
Amazing food and ambience, would definitely repeat it!
A bit overpriced but very nice food and good service.
Excellent as always. Good range of breakfast dishes slightly different to the normal and excellent coffee. What’s not to love!
Had breakfast at Caravan, good food and service, although can be quite noIsy if you are right in the action.
Great selection of food. Everything was tasty and came out quickly. A little pricey for the dishes but decent.
Music was too loud
We had a fantastic brunch, our waitress sat us right away outside in the shade, as we has requested. Food arrived pretty quick, portions were very generous and tasty, the food was very flavoursome. Juices are very good and the coffee is excellent. Will definitely come back.
First time visiting, food was fabulous, sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed a lovely group lunch. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Didn't feel 'looked upon' when outside either.
