I would have given you 5 stars but someone had the silly idea of taking the almond cake off the menu. You should bring this desert back and you’ll go straight to a 5*

Went for dinner at Caravan and had a fantastic evening. We had four small plates, cauliflower/tofu/apricot/cod dumplings which were all delicious! Would highly recommend. We also shared a bottle of the house white wine which I would also recommend. Will be returning for sure!

I have eaten here a few times now and find the menu and portions a little odd and inconsistent. We were the only two in the restaurant at 7.30 am but were ignored by servers who were difficult to summon. Only when we finally had our food did the servers constantly ask how things were. Many other breakfast venues locally where the experience is much better.

The food is good but the service is unacceptably slow, especially for a City breakfast place.

Food is delicious and it’s a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful when you were speaking with them but no one came to check on us - we kept having to flag someone down to ask for water, to order food, dessert menus, coffees etc it put a dampener what would have been a really wonderfully evening.

I have visited Caravan a number of times in the past and noticed that the portions have decreased. The large salads are now tiny ! The coffee and breakfast is good. But would not recommend for lunch.

In the past I’ve always been a fan of Caravan - the menu, the food, service etch. However this time I found the food to be mediocre, service was lacking to OK but still a great menu. A shame really because this has long been a go-to restaurant of mine and I’m not sure it still is.

I’ve eaten at Caravan in King’s Cross & enjoyed it, but I had the same main course here today (the ham hock hash) and was disappointed - the potatoes were scorched & the whole thing was greasy. On top of that the coffee was luke-warm & the service lacklustre. Dragged up from one star because my partner’s food was ‘ok’ but I won’t be going back.

Food was really delicious and good price.
Good vegetarian options and side dishes good size, I recommend Cavalo Nero side dish. The music was good but could be lowered down a bit so we could converse more easily. I recommend Caravan and hope to return.

Often very slow to bring the bill. When most people early in the morning are there having business meetings, they need to keep their eye on the ball for people who need to finish a conversation and get out of there fast, not spend five mins trying to flag a waiter.

Nice to find a restaurant open in the City of London on a Sunday as most are closed. Good food. Service might of been slightly better but appeared to be a little understaffed. Waitress very pleasant however though one item was "forgotten". Would go back again if I was in the area.

Conveniently located between Bank and Cannon Street tubes. Menu based on sharing plates. Could end up getting expensive if you ordered a lot but we had plenty of food and a bottle of wine for £30 a head. The main guy was super helpful with ordering and even bought us over a free dish. Everything was pretty decent. My favourite being the wontons. Wasn't a fan of the cornbread - supposed to be a signature dish but found it a bit dry and tasteless.
