Always love this place for breakfast!
Great atmosphere and great food as always.
The service is always a little hit and miss though- not in terms of the energy or politeness of the staff. But you an be waiting a long time form order to actually getting your coffee/food.
Love the place. Been there many times. Young lady called Sue is one of the best restaurant staff I came across, great eye she recognised me every single time and remembered my orders.
I love that place, such a good vibe and very good food / service and location
Very good choice of small plates with interesting taste combinations. The pizzas sounded great but we didn’t have room. Good wine choice and also some unusual and tasty non-alcoholic cocktails. We would definitely go back.
We had a nice moment in Caravan Fitzrovia for a Sunday Brunch. I can only recommend the place.
Caravan does great food and the service is usually good but on a quiet Saturday evening (only half of tables occupied) it was poor. After being given approximately two mins to choose drinks and so asked for more time, it then took ages to get anyone's attention. The nibbles (olives, edamame) and main food arrived all at the same time, we only ordered nibbles to have with drinks while we waited for food. Expected better.
Great service, food was delicious.
Good solid experience across the board.
The food was delicious as always. Cod dumplings 10/10
The Bloody Mary was substandard and they need to work on this.
Normally the service is good but that night was confusing, slow and just not the best.
Delicious and different food! Good atmosphere and lovely service
Great breakfast and brunch spot in a central location. They have the regular breakfast options on the menu - full fry up, all sort of eggs, smoothies - and some more unusual options too. The space has big windows looking out the street and feels spacious and pleasant to be in.
I'd recommend this place for business breakfasts, but not for a treat with friends. very expensive for what you get - 2 poached egg on one piece of burnt toast £7? ...
Fantastic selection of juices and food. Very fresh ingredients all beautifully presented. Good ambiance and would definitely recommend and return.
Service was incredibly slow and staff were not attentive at all. We waited along time for coffee, which arrived but after about 30 minutes of waiting for it. Staff were hanging around chatting and were difficult to call over to the table. Restaurant was not busy at all but was the hardest thing ever to get served.
Not too noisy but lively enough to want to go there in the first place. First time at a Caravan and very pleased. Look forward to returning!
Booked Caravan for a group of work colleagues who live outside London. It was recommended to us but nobody had been before. It was very busy for a midweek evening but service was still good and the place had a great buzz. The food is interesting and everything we tried (and the group ordered a LOT of things to try) got the thumbs up. Only negative was the price of the drinks - but probably not that unusual for a London eatery. Will definitely return and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others
It is a really nice place and both the starters and pizzas are great.
A bit overpriced for the size of the dishes and flavour. Music was a little strange on a Sunday brunch time and service was mediocre.
Lovely food, however when we arrived we were told we would have 1.5hours before the table was needed back, 1 hour later they asked us if we were ready to leave as the table was needed.
Too noisy and food not as good as I remember at Exmouth Market.
Good service and nice food
Love Caravan - great flavours, good attentive service and nice setting. This visit to the Fitzrovia branch was no exception. Only grievance would be that some of the small plates are too small for the price you pay. For example, the Tofu dish - absolutely delicious but you get a miserly portion on which they must make a massive mark up.
I would recommend Caravan overall but the service was really slow. The team were more interested in talking to each other than to the guests. We were left with menus for over 20 mins without anyone coming to offer a drink or anything. This continued throughout and we felt like we were inconveniencing people when we did ask for help. No one person assigned to us. It was a shame as everything else was pretty good.
We found the music levels too high (and not to our taste); the service indifferent, the restaurant too hot because, despite the aircon, doors were left open for staff to go outside to re-enter for food delivery to front tables and the food was mediocre. Sorry but we cannot recommend this one -- the one in The City is much better.
Very pleasant. Excellent choice of food which are a good variety of healthy ingredients and good service to add. Have been a few times and its an easy place to return to.
We had dishes from the Grains punchy ginger. Broccoli and sweet potato bowl were too charred, but chilli-coconut sauce was incredible. Wish bar service had been a bit quicker and there were more waiters to help resolve a delivery of an incorrect drinks order. Would visit again, perhaps when the restaurant is quieter.
Canteen atmosphere with light bites and small plates. Menu a bit restrictive
Always consistently good attentive service here. Good food, interesting menu always
A very stylish and sophisticated place that offers a great selection of food and drink with a warm and attentive service.
Baked egg with batch brew.
Egg was over done and flatbread was salty.
Merguez is very gamey.
The food was fantastic and the place is great. However; our waitress was too serious and not very amicable in general. I would have appreciated a more welcoming and positive attitude on a Sunday morning.
All eggs were over cooked despite waiter asking how we wanted them... mine was also over salty and seemed to have stayed in oven too long so everything was dry.
Food average and overpriced. Music so loud conversation is nearly impossible.
Best breakfast place we’ve ever been to in London. It’s spacious, they have such a pretty interior, the staff is really friendly and the food and drinks are all tasty. We’re definitely going back!
Our sever was accommodating and was able to fit four of us even though I had accidentally booked a table for three. However, we waited for 45 minutes for our food, which was all from the brunch menu, and we watched as tables of two around us ate and paid their bill. At some point our server said there was a 'party' somewhere and that was delaying our order. Once the food came, we ordered beers, which were never brought to us.
Excellent service and delicious food- we we're a group of 8 and the staff we're excellent!
Great to finally eat at a London restaurant that knows how to serve up good, interesting food, at a reasonable price.
Food excellent and friendly service. Wine overpriced. Good location but preferred the Bankside location
Fantastic brunch! Good vibes and incredibly stylish. Totally recommend.
Nice range of food including a range of veggie options. Service was a bit rushed and it was very loud making a catch up a bit difficult but we had a lovely time
