Carluccio's - Bristol, Cribbs Causeway
We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Sunday, offering a broad range of classic Italian food. Furthermore, we cater for vegetarians and those who are following a gluten free diet.
Plenty of variety.
Will visit again
Great service. Great food. Value for money
Took a long time to get food out to us. I can understand we had gluten free for one person but 45 minutes is a little excessive.
Staff where very apologetic.
35th wedding anniversary lunch
Not quite the Carluccio's that it was.
The food is good and generous, but it and the place itself are missing the spark that it once had.
It was booked on OpenTable as a birthday occasion (not acknowledged), so being out of apple juice for the birthday girl was not a good start. It also has overpriced areas on its menu. £6.25 for tomatoes and oil on a single piece of toasted bread anyone?
Super good and friendly service. Lacking a bit of atmosphere but it is in a shopping centre after all!
Good food ,Great service pity they are not continuing the Gourmet Society discount.
It was great shame the lasagna was so dry
Apart from that i could not fault it
We love Carluccio's : for us it's one of the few chains which delivers a good authentic Italian food experience.
We loved the arancini starter.
We tried the Vegan spaghetti for the first time and it was nice.
But it was our server who made the experience above average, so much so that we gave a bigger than average tip and passed our compliments to the manager.
We bought a couple of items from the deli which are very competitively priced!
For example the wild fennel pasta sauce at Carluccio's is £4.50 and there is only one other specialist Italian brand who does similar and theirs is £6.40!
We love this chain and are keen to return.
excellent set priced lunch, good choice of all three courses. service was both quick and efficient could definitly recommened.
Excellent set lunch menu and great service, would highly recommend
The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great place to eat a meal and relax.
We were completely forgotten & got our mains before our starters arrived. Starters was a selection of bread high tasted stale. Food was over priced & basic.
Asked for a dairy free spag Bol - waited over an hour and then the server came up to us to say the chef had it cheese on the dish and wanted to restart it.
I don’t understand how it took so long as other table around us had drinks, starters and desserts by the time I was told the chef messed up ours.
The server took my intolerance of dairy very serious but then the chef messed it up?
No one would take ownership and when I said I don’t want the food anymore (because of the wait) I was subject to a slight attitude which I didn’t appreciate
I would recommend. young staff, difficult times. they did very well. Mums 81st birthday and 4 of us with competing needs. well done - we will be back
The food was nice but unfortunately the service not so much. When ordering starters and drinks, before we got a chance to order mains the waitress walked off. Secondly, our mains arrived before our starters and when our starters arrived they were not the correct order.
As ever a good brand, excellent service and decent ambience. With a small exception which was very promptly and professionally resolved by the Manager, the food was really delicious & we enjoyed our meal.
Good food and service overall, a few minor quality issues such as burnt toast with the bruschetta and cold broccoli. On this particular day, also quite a few menu items unavailable due to delivery issues. Would go back.
As you can see from our review we enjoyed our meal ,however we had difficulty finding it,it would have helped when we booked if we had been given more information concerning the location of the restaurant.
We came for breakfast. It was easy to book a table online. Staff were welcoming & very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and reasonable for the money if you included coffee & juice. We only come once in a while as a treat but would recommend.
My first meal out in 14 months. Sadly bar service a little slow and my first choice of salad not available. Was only second day open after lockdown so I understood. Will be back
Poor service, food not great! Certain staff not covid aware!
Food service was slow, pasta was tepid so two of the four of us did not finish our meals.
There was no point asking for replacements as the service was very slow
The service we received from our waiter was excellent and the restaurant was true to brand
Lovely to be back at Carluccios! Great lunch and some treats from the deli too. Keep up the good work guys.
The first item we ordered they then told us they did have have so then asked for panettone with jam and butter, this took 15 minutes to appear and then another 3 minutes for the jam and butter so warm panettone was no longer warm. Service was very slow considering it was very quiet
Service was brilliant and very friendly. Catered perfectly for our kids. Food was hot and very delicious and came very prompt. Always enjoy a meal here, thank you
Nice decor, food and very helpful and attentive staff.
Our waitress was so friendly and patient. My friend and I stayed beyond closing without realising, and there was nothing but graciousness and understanding. She was exceptional
A very pleasant lunch having driven up from Plymouth to visit Cribbs under Covid-19 regulations. Make sure you book.
Our server (Jam) was very engaging. She told us about the 3 course deal which was great value
It was OK and did the job but it wasn't as good as sometimes. The linguine didn't look very fresh, though it tasted fine and was hot. The antipasto was a bit greasy and not very enjoyable.
So good to visit again and we enjoyed our lunch very much. Very relaxing after wandering round shops wearing a mask
Such helpful and polite staff, would definitely go again, not sure of the waiters name but he was so helpful! Credit to you! :)
Been here several times and never disappointed. Food is good and reasonably priced. Menu choices good too, especially the set menus. The service stands out. Always excellent. The staff are always attentive, friendly and efficient. Clearly well trained.
Really good to find that the new owners seem to be trying to keep things as they were. Many restaurant chains don't deliver. Carluccios does.
Food was excellent, service was fast and although one side dish was missed when asked this was quickly removed from the bill. Overall we had an enjoyable dinner, which included quite a picky eater and a small child. Price was reasonable at £100 for 6 of us. Would definitely eat here again.
A delicious lunch, good service and value for money. Thanks
Great meal out on a Monday night. Good service and food, would go again.
Chicken dish £15. Pretty expensive for piece of chicken and potatoes. Service good and friendly. Was quiet so lot of distance between guests
