We’re open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday to Sunday, offering a broad range of classic Italian food. We also cater for vegetarians and those who are following a gluten-free diet, with options for both on our menu.
Excellent, friendly service, kid friendly menu and good choices for gf and df.
Food was luke warm, coffee was weak, two types of pasta in a single dish. Giraffe may have taken over but standards have dropped.
Went for breakfast Saturday early before it got too busy. Great Covid routines cleaning everything from pepper pots to chairs.
Lovely staff member happy friendly and helpful .food always good.
Happy Covid Christmas.
Amazing familial service, one of the best spots for a cosy meal in Cambridge.
It was lovely! Lovely food and people
Very helpful and friendly staff, lovely food, great menu. In the current climate very clean and save service.
Been going for years and though the menu and the overall feel of the restaurant is not the same 10 years ago, we still love dining here. Convenient location, great food and service. I do miss their deli and the overall Italian feel BUT the food never failed us every time we dine in.
Tables well spaced. Seating comfortable. A pleasant experience, in these COVID times, it felt a safe environement. And we enjoyed the food!
Wholly recommended...excellent food, service and surroundings.
This is a nice restaurant and the staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. The food was good and lovely big portions. The lighting could have been better.
Great food selection served up by really attentive table waiting staff - overall a fantastic dining experience and would recommend to others
Beef Ragu pasta was dismal, with little ragu and uncooked tomatoes just thrown in. Never seen anything like it!
A very enjoyable visit after a long time - too long - away. All was absolutely as remembered before - very polite, attentive service, excellent food and drinks and reasonable prices (My out-of-date voucher was even accepted!)
Just very sad that Carluccio's are these days now few and far between.
We went to Carluccio’s as a final fling before lockdown so we had to choose from a reduced menu. This was disappointing as I wanted the fish which was not available. The food was served quickly by a very friendly waiter. The ambience was generally pleasant but when I went to the accessible toilet there wasn’t any soap - not good after all the advice on hand-washing.
The most tasty mushroom soup, delicious focaccia bread. Main course excellent, great service.
Great service, lovely food and very good ambience. We were well looked after by the friendly staff, the food arrived at the right times (I took advantage of the 3 courses set menu for £14.95). It was good to see the restaurant quite busy, which gave it a nice atmosphere.
Spotlessly clean the restaurant entrance is tucked away down a side street. The quality of the food is good however if there is fault to be found it is in the temperature of the food which came warm but quickly before you could finish the meal it was bordering on cold. Good service made up for the temperature.
Enjoyed breakfast here. Good menu selection. Reasonable location, hygienic measures in place.
Very friendly and helpful waiter, speedy service and good food
We had lunch. The lunch special was good value, the food was really good. Generous portions. The venue was spacious, so even if it was busy at lunch tables were wide enough apart for social distancing. It’s also got a great delicatessen section where you can buy really good and nicely packaged foods for special presents, like Christmas panettone.
Breakfast was small, cold and overpriced.... Really not that good. Waiter got the order wrong as well, resulting in me getting overcharged. Pancakes were dry and luke warm. Fruit not really that ripe either.
Atmosphere was quiet, though restrictions do dictate that.
All in all, I would not really choose to go to a carluccios again, there weren't many positives to take from the experience.
Was lovely to meet up with an old friend and enjoy lovely lunch, was nearly how life used to be. We were not rushed at all.
A thoroughly enjoyable lunch venue whatever the occasion. Excellent customer service and staff. Tip in cash otherwise it goes to manager bonuses, sort that out Carluccio’s Grrrrrr
Yet again a lovely time was had. Would appreciate small portion options as was offered in the past, the bowl of salad was sadly far too much for me even though it was delicious and I was hungry when I arrived.
It was all as delicious as I ever remember it. I’m very glad this one has been saved from closure.
Good menu options, especially for vegans and vegetarians. Food delicious and service very good.
Excellent service! Very pleased with everything.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, which was better than one would normally expect from a restaurant chain.
This is a lovely little spot and the waiting staff are always fabulous. They are running on a reduced menu, probobly due to covid and new owners. The only thing that lets this down is the food is often tepid rather than hot. We had brunch and a toasted panatone (instead of the delicious french toast panatone that they used to offer) was hardly toasted and cold and the breakfasts we had were warm enought to eat, but a long way from hot.
It's a shame they just can't get this right as it's fabulous in every other aspect.
Lovely experience with good food, attentive service and a pleasing ambiance
Busy but we’ll spaced and service good- and food lovely
Empty restaurant thanks to covid-19 unfortunately, but our service was still very slow and the waiter wore his mask only over his mouth!.
The garlic bread was very salty, greasy and mine was burnt.
The pancetta in my Carbonara seemed burnt, which gave the whole dish a strange taste.
I have always liked going to Carluccios with my friend and we're used to a fuller restaurant, good service and food.
I feel sad for the chain and it's staff in these strange times, as they must be under huge pressure and I wish I was leaving a more positive feedback.
Good luck getting through this.
The waiting staff were polite and friendly. The food was middle of the road as you’d expect from a chain, it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great, it was ok and served a purpose
Excellent- service was especially good from Maria. Social distancing greatly improved since our first visit too- felt a lot 'safer'.
Lovely meal as usual, tables are quite close together.
Really friendly staff - it was my birthday and they made a fuss of me - free glass of prosecco too!
The manager was clearly in a bad mood when we arrived and was v abrupt when we asked a question about searing. She then shouted at a staff member in front of all customers.
Dinner was lovely, initial reception was frosty by the lady there though! Felt like we were an inconvenience but luckily our waiter was great.
Great food, great atmosphere, stuff was very attentive and friendly, great birthday celebration
Impeccable food and service, as usual. Lovely atmosphere, not too noisy.
