It was the last lunch we could have in a restaurant before we went into tier 4. The restaurant would be closing for an indefinite period but it did not affect the standard of food or service. The grilled lamb I had was absolutely delicious, really tender and flavoursome. Full marks.
Annual Christmas Eve trip to Carluccio's for breakfast. It didn't disappoint. So happy it was open in this really difficult period. Thanks.
A last hurrah before covid 19 tiers changed to strike out Christmas 2020 from the calendar. It was especially good to talk to the waitress from Verona, sadly unable to get home for the holiday. Good to find an Italian in an Italian restaurant!
Food is good but could be hotter in temperature - sometimes they are inconsistent in the heating of the meal

The smallest amount of sourdough possible with the breakfast!
How can a poached egg be bigger than the bread it is served on? Ask Carluccio's .
They do serve god, tasty food but this breakfast was very poor with an undrained poached egg making the one , tiny slice of bread very soggy and inedible.
By all means go & enjoy a meal at Carluccio's but maybe avoid breakfast if you like sourdough.
Excellent value but hard work trying to decide which to order as all so tasty.
Great food, real shame that the restaurant is not open outside of Fenwick opening hours.

I ordered beef fettuccine and i had to ask them to put more beef because there was a little i was not expected that. I think i never order this dish again. Overall service was good and the atmosphere is quiet and cosy. Colchester what can i say there are not many choices! Thank you
Always a great breakfast here. Good value deal for breakfast, coffee & juice. Very very quiet at 9.30am & service is always great too. Can’t fault it the restaurant - only downside is the exorbitantly price parking at Nelson Rd, but that’s the council/fenwicks, not the restaurants fault.

Best place for breakfast. The Go magnifico deal is great value for money. Loads of choice on the menu. Friendly staff. 100% recommend.
Our waiter was amazing!!! And my friend and I had a wonderful time!, the food was lovely and I will definitely be visiting again!
The staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome, service was just right with staff leaving you alone to eat, drink and chat but appearing in a timely manor to clear plates away etc.
Food was very good except my sea bass was a little overcooked, but veg was perfect.
Wine and coffee were both good.
Lasagne was fantastic. One of our first post lockdown restaurant experiences and it was lovely. Glad to have Carluccio’s back
