Carluccio's - Leeds Trinity
My wife’s Birthday
Food wasn’t very nice, too much pepper in the lasagne and didn’t come with anything just a block of lasagne in a bowl
My normal Carluccios’s is Beverley and we are massively fond of it , Leeds was great the waitress seated us outside in a nice spot . The food was great and was every bit as good as Beverley where we know the staff . My only problem and I don’t know if it is a problem is I always buy from the Deli and get discount when you eat in , the manager knew about it but couldn’t find the 10% button . Maybe it’s finished. Great night otherwise
All amazing except the Arancini balls! Definitely not worth £7! All apart from that was very good :)
It was not clear that they will only serve breakfast before 12.
Did not manage to use Bluelight card as it was on Saturday which bluelight card website did not indicate.
We only booked this because we has a voucher and were told AFTER the meal we couldn't use the voucher due to covid.... when we questioned why that would make a difference to our voucher we were told they had changed computer systems and the voucher numbers hadn't been transferred...
Great as usual, good to have Carluccios back in Trinity
Food terrible and they had run out of several items including lasagne!
Excellent food, good value for money in a relaxing atmosphere
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, enjoyed all 3 courses (calamari, gnocchi, pana cotta) and a coffee - yummy! Would go back.
Helpful and welcoming staff, great place to eat with delicious food and speedy service.
The restaurant demonstrated all the signs of a chain that's in financial trouble. We went on the last day of the 'Eat out to help out' scheme and were very disappointed that so many of the starter and main dishes were sold out. Service was slow and the staff were inattentive and when we raised it with a waitress, the answer we got was "we are very busy". Surprised at that as surely they knew how busy they were going to be as diners had to pre-book so they could have planned their staffing levels and ingredients. As much as I would hate to see Carluccios as a chain completely disappear from our towns and cities, I'm afraid with service like the one we experienced, I feel their days are numbered.
Our party of 4 travelled to Leeds to visit one of our favourite restaurants as our local Carluccios had closed. Everything was good apart from the fact that the restaurant was not geared up to let us pay with our gift vouchers we had got for Christmas. I hope that Carluccios sort this problem soon so that we can visit again. We wont be asking for Carluccios vouchers in future.
Excellent as always, great to be back, food and service brilliant thank you
Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was busy but we didn't feel rushed, and we weren't left waiting to be served. We can't wait to go back again!
We went at lunch on bank holiday Monday. The soft drinks in stock were very poor. No suitable drink for my toddler - no cordial, apple or orange juice in left. Only peach or tomato. They had no coke or Diet Coke either for myself.
The menu was fair and can be seen online but was very poor for kids with only one starter - raw carrot and cucumber.
My food was nice - chicken dish.
We had no pudding as the cake was out of stock.
Music was very loud.
Staff were trying hard but it just wasn’t the nicest of lunches with everything combined.
10/10 il definately be going again, amazing service and the breakfast was spot on
I was not impressed by our waitress having no PPE and holding my glass near the top as she gave me it rather than offering me it from a tray
Rapid welcome, good choice of seating, able to sit slightly away from main buzz to aid conversation. Plenty of atmosphere, friendly attentive service. Main course a little slow to arrive, but it was busy. Recommend ordering a starter!
Lovely staff, great food just felt a bit close to people who were sat beside us.
As someone with coeliac disease, Carluccio's has a (limited) menu of things that I can eat. There cross-contamination reduction protols would appear tp be excellent. They've never made me ill, or fell that I have cause for concern. The food is always excellent, think the next level up from Pizza Express, except they don't do pizzas. Sadly, since reopening after being talen over by another chain pre lockdown, their dessert menu selection is not as varied as it used to be. Although, on the plus side, they have added a second gluten-free fish main course, which I had on this occasion. It was most enjoyable. The staff are always really attentative and friendly and it never gets too noisy (even before social distancing). Their post lock-down protocols were excellent.
