Here at Carluccio's, we’ve always been true to our Italian heritage and what food really means to us. The best ingredients, from the best regions, cooked with love.

We're situated within Gunwharf Quays. Our outdoor terrace offers stunning views of the harbour. Among other things, this makes us the perfect restaurant to relax after exploring the local shops.

We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday to Sunday. Our menu also caters for vegetarians/vegans and those who are following a gluten free diet.

    Goats cheese salad was amazing. Chicken Milanese was bland. Pappardelle Beef Ragu was superb!

    We went to this restaurant to celebrate our Anniversary. We were asked during the booking process to let them know if it was a celebration, which we did. We have no idea why, as there was no mention of it and our table didn’t appear to have a reservation on it. We felt the food was over priced and the portions were small, although very tasty. The desserts were unremarkable, the choice very limited and the portions for the ice cream and sorbet were so small they were embarrassing. We took the ice cream and sorbet back and it was replaced with a proper portion and they did apologise. We were amazed that the service charge was £14.75 on a bill that totalled £118.05 - 12.5% with no option to refuse this. Overall, we were very disappointed and will not be going back.

    1st time at Portsmouth restaurant. Food took a long time to deliver and restaurant not very busy. 3 meals served warm and I had to send it back. I assume it had been left on the counter for some time. Manageress and waitress apologised and provided new meals. Drinks removed from the bill as compensation. Staff good but overall experience poor. Won’t be going there again.

    It was busy therefore noisy that Thursday at 2pm. Waitress needed prompting at times but maybe the kitchen was unresponsive. Variety of main courses enjoyed by all. Sweet treat consisted of tough dough balls filled with goo and sickly sweet. Not good.

    Meal for two on Wednesday evening at 7.30. Restaurant very busy and VERY noisy. We had to change tables to near the entrance to be able to hear each other. However food was pretty good and the staff absolutely lovely.

    Sat 20 feet away from a table of 18/20 screeching women in a room with no acoustics so that was a bit of a spoiler for us. The food was absolutely average really sadly. Antonio would have expected better. Service was very attentive and polite, however.
