This visit was better than the last few times.
Disappointed my first choice wasn’t available 🙁staff very polite and efficient.
Look forward to are next visit.
A lovely meal with attentive service
Food was awful and steak (described as pink on menu) was dry and dark. We politely complained but our waitress did nothing more than a quiet “ok I’m sorry”. No discount, she didn’t offer to take it back or even speak to chef.
Fantastic food, excellent services and very friendly staff.
Awful meal . Will not be eating here again . Sad Cobham Carluccios closed it was the best around
Fabulous place, excellent food and superb services
As always lovely atmosphere to catch up with friends
Had lunch with my mum. Both of us had very good main courses. My mum had the tiramisu which didn’t touch the sides.
Thank you for a lovely lunch time experience, the food & service were very good so we left 2 happy customers
Food was lovely! Staff so friendly
Great meal with family. Good quality and enjoyed by all
Let’s face it: Carluccio’s isn’t going to be super-sophisticated on any level. It was all OK and easy enough, though the ambience (outside seating - BTW the photo on the restaurant here is the wrong one - looks nothing like this!) is impacted by the scaffolding going up to the flats above - I think this is due to be in situ for at least nine months as they deal with the cladding.
Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. We were there for breakfast and all of 5 of us were happy with our food.
Lovely experience, the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive
I love this place - great food, great atmosphere. I would strongly recommends this to everyone.
Always guaranteed to have delicious food! Never fails.
Love the food pasta is always good and never disappoints
Slow service, slow to be greeted when only 2 tables were in. Slow to come back to take orders.
Staff in training - which is acceptable, however when asking a question about a dish on the menu they didn’t offer to check and just said I am training. Which meant our questions were not ever answered.
Since the last time I’ve been there, last year, The food quality and flavor isn’t the same at all. Even deserts were tasteless. Good quality has decreased a lot. Nothing to say about the staff who were very kind. Not coming back.
Yeah good to be back after such a long absence.
Heard a few had closed down during lockdown. Relieved this wasn’t one of them.
Very convenient as I live next door. Kids like it too.
Look forward to being a regular again.
Overall very satisfactory, however, one of our party’s first two choices of drink we’re unavailable and also neither of her choice of ice cream! Lack of any diet drink other than cola also a problem as one of our party is diabetic and doesn’t like cola!
food is too pricy and is not as tasty as other Italian resturants around. complete waste of money and not worth it.
Nice to be served by an Italian waiter! Delicious food and drink as usual. During the evening, however, a toddler was allowed to run around the restaurant screaming, both parents and staff ignored her which spoiled the atmosphere of an adults’ evening out. The evening was further interrupted by a fire alarm going off before we had time to order desserts, no member of staff came to tell customers what the alarm was and there was no effort to keep customers reassured. We paid up and left without a word of apology from the manager.
Disappointing. Understaffed. Waited ages for food, which arrived cold. Very poor table service.
Good food, great service - shame about the scaffolding and works that completely change the outdoor experience
Service was very attentive and the food was good, but overpriced.
New chef was not great ..food undercooked and no sea food ! Manager was great though.
It was a bland brunch. The waiters seemed not have had any training as they didn't bring the kids food first, didn't check which menu we wanted, and generally there was no urgency to anything. The food was OK, but nothing special. The place was rather empty too, so the servers were idle a lot of the time...which made the lack of care more annoying. Overall a very lacklustre experience.
Food was nice but after our meal it took 20 minutes to get the bill and we had to ask 3 times. I know staff are busy but we feel we were forgotten.
Excellent service. Friendly and courteous staff. Enjoyed the experience
I have been going to Carluccio’s in Walton on Thames and Cobham for years. Never have I had such a horrible meal. There were four of us going out for a treat. My husband had the Seafood Linguine and I had the Vegenese Spaghetti. We have both had these dishes before so know we like them. Not this time. The spaghetti was so dry it was unbelievable and virtually inedible. Where was the vegenese sause? It was just a bit of chopped tomatoes, not much sauce so it was dry. Same with the Seafood Linquine. Absolutely awful. I didn’t complain to the waiter at the time because we felt sorry for him running around outside and inside and generally overworked. You really need to get your act together. Also when people like a dish why do you take it off the menu? Or change it, like the verdure board. You put less and less on it and made it not worth having then took off menu. To be honest I don’t think we will be going back to Carluccio’s for a very long time. We spent well over £100 and expect a decent meal.
Most enjoyable evening. Our waiter was the star and was very helpful and intresting.
Staff were lovely, service was a little slow, but nothing to really complain about, food was amazing as always. Was surprised at the bill, it seemed expensive for what we had, but we don't eat out often, so maybe it's just normal these days
It was just ok. We both had different meals and both of us thought it was just average.
No ketchup left despite being opposite Sainsbury’s. Ordered the vegan and it arrived with no potatoes and no pumpkin seeds as described on the menu. Staff nice enough but did feel a bit disappointed as it was a birthday treat. Would think twice about booking again.
During my meal I had a stomach ache, not sure if it was to do with the food or another problem. Food was very good overall.
Lovely restaurant for brunch, nice ambience and fast service. Will be back soon!
Helpful friendly staff. A regular venue for our family. Good value for money. Decent standard of food. We will come back in the near future.
Food is very expensive and not much choice . £13+ for a plate of pasta I think is excessive. £4 for a bit of bread??
Service was very good and the food came out quickly. Portions sizes are good.
Super food and great service - such a lovely place to meet up with friends and enjoy the flavours of Italy.
