Seated outside but never told this whilst making the booking. Raining, windy and freezing cold. Inadequate broken heaters and food is as cold within minutes.

The festive menu was perfect. I loved the pumpkin soup. The crab and lobster lasagne was fabulous. Roll on next year!

Disappointed with the main course but overall we enjoyed our visit.

Excellent menu and terrific service as usual...worryingly quiet though with just two or three tables a fortnight before xmas which cannot bode well for the future (cobham one closed recently)

The waiters and manager were excellent. Really attentive, friendly and left us alone to enjoy our food. Both the traditional and vegetarian breakfasts were delicious. Can’t fault anything about this visit. An additional bonus was the 20% off any deli purchases because we’d eaten in!!!

Great that Carluccio's has re-opened although some of the original staff don't appear to still be working there!

The staff here are truly wonderful. I used to take my elderly parents to Carluccios in Cobham, which had sadly now closed, but fortunately many of the staff have now moved over to the Walton restaurant. When we walked in (for the first time in many months due to the Covid lockdown), the staff recognised my parents instantly (even in masks!), and gave them such a wonderful warm welcome that both were moved to (happy) tears. I cannot express how grateful I am to the staff here for making my parents feel so much more than "customers" - it is like meeting up with special friends every time. Five stars all round, and heartfelt thanks.

Brilliant as always! Great food, great service & well managed throughout this COVID-19 pandemic.

Met family for breakfast. Had to sit outdoors due to being in Tier 2 but every effort had been made to ensure it was an enjoyable experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming and ensured heaters were available to cope with the chilly morning. A very enjoyable breakfast which was great value

Had a table outside which worked well with the heaters. Food and choice were good. Service was slow but that was because there were not enough waiters but those that were there did a splendid job. Enjoyed the visit and will go again.

Still grat value, good tasting, honest food. Walton always had great service and it remains after reopening.

Good and friendly service and food. However, the restaurant felt empty and the general ambience a little cold in feeling, and the piped music far too loud.

I’m a regular here as it’s convenient, reliable and just a nice place to eat - kids love it too.
Just a shame they seem unable to source any decent seafood..

Overall once there, all good.

However the booking experience not so. OpenTable advised that there were tables available for 08:45 and 09:30. By the time we'd decided on 09:30, this was no longer available and the options were 08:45 or 12:00. We chose 08:45 and assumed that the restaurant was going to be busy.

Having arrive at 08:45, we were advised that the restaurant was not open until 09:00. Additionally, it was exceptionally quiet (unsurprising given the availability that OpenTable were offering).

My complaint (and concern for the restaurant) is that OpenTable is not offering bookings for the correct opening hours, or displaying availability of tables when there are clearly plenty to be used.

During these difficult times the staff and service were very good.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The food was tasty and came promptly.
