    Overall kind of disappointed in Carmines it did not live up to the hype. The service was subpar. It felt like we were more of a hassle than customers in a nice restaurant.

    Food was very good as always! Our waiter Anthony was slow and forgetful. To be fair he had a lot of tables, but the restaurant was not very crowded! We had to wait until our meal was completely done to get bread. then when it was time to pay the check, we waited almost 35 minutes.

    The service was terrible. Slow slow slow. I had to ask for bread at the beginning of the meal. I waited and waited. I had to ask again. When it came, I then had to ask for butter or oil. The waiter was never around. It took forever to get the food. All of our food was so salty. It was inedible.

    Carmines is a great restaurant in Rosemont. I had the sea bass one night cooked to perfection! I had a filet the next time. Also, excellent. The portions are all shareable. Great experience!
