   Food, Ambience and service 2nd to none. I marked it down slightly because I ordered a birthday dessert for my hubby and it didn't come out with rest of the tables desserts until at least 10mins later. I had to approach a waitress to ask for it. Spoilt the surprise.

   I thought the food and service were excellent, but it was a little noisy for us. Certainly feels like a good group party place, but I wouldn't go for a quiet dinner there. We were there as a party of 7 for a birthday so it was fine, but there were so many large parties there that it seemed like every 10 minutes the birthday song went off over thee speakers.....it was quite amusing but I wouldn't fancy it if it was a romatric meal I was looking for. This was a Saturday tbf so may be different during the week. It's not cheap so they could do with thinking about where people sit or some kind of partitioning to manage the sound level better or stop the birthday sound over the speakers - too loud. Overall a good experience, will go back as the food and service was good.

   Service and food was excellent, staff were efficient and attentive. There was two large parties in the restaurant at the same time which made it quite noisy but overall a very good experience

   The recent visit was to celebrate my friend's birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived, and during the whole time the staff were available and on hand with our orders. The food was absolutely wonderful. Would definitely go back again.

   We tried Cartel for the 1st time for my daughter’s birthday family dinner, and were not disappointed. The restaurant is a lovely setting, service top rate where the staff are very efficient, friendly but not obtrusive. The food was fantastic! We had the dynamite prawns, falafel and garlic mushrooms which were amazing, followed by octopus, lamb byeti and butter chicken which were well spiced, perfect flavours and utterly delicious! This is now our new favourite place to eat in Northampton and highly recommend it! My daughter is a real foodie and head chef, and she was delighted at how good it was! Thanks to the staff and chef!! Great night out!

   The venue was very noisy which for me as a person who is hard of hearing made for a difficult evening. The food was at best average and for the price we expected better. Will not be returning.

   very good and tasty , the only issue is , that we had to wait 15 min for the table , even though , we had a booking in place. I guess they offered the table to someone else.

    Place looks very nice , food was amazing , atmosphere was very nice . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely my place to go to . There is good variety in food and everything tastes amazing . Place to be .
