This was our first visit to Casa Italia in a few years. We all really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Highly recommended for authentic Italian cuisine and will definitely be returning in the near future.
Our enjoyment of the meal was helped by us seeing friends in the restaurant that we didn’t know were going to be there. The food was good but not exceptional. It was very busy and we were rushed through which I don’t enjoy.

No social distancing at all. Felt very uncomfortable. All tables were full. Food was good but felt rushed so they could get more people in quicker. Not going again.

Had previously been here a few years ago and the food was lovely then, but now since the change of ownership I found the food to be mediocre , the service was very slow and the drinks were flat
Service a little slow as lots of diners, very hot in upstairs restaurant and not suitable amount of social distancing in place. Food was nice and great with the government discount scheme.
Love this place I have been to it twice now, the food is amazing, staff so friendly and service is good, under the current COVID conditions it was great to get out and have a really lovely evening with great food, I would definately go again

Lovely traditional good home- cooked style food. Clean plates all round. Large portions and well presented.
We went on the hottest day of 2020 recorded at that time, so we were super hot. Waitress did everything she could to make us comfortable as possible.

As a family we have been going to Casa Italia for 15 years. Went recently and have several issues and was not at ALL pleased with how it was dealt with.
1. Wrong Food bought to the table, sent to the right table.
2. Poor starter of Prawn Cocktail. No sauce, few prawns.
3. Second lot of food bought to the wrong table, sent to the right table.
4. One of us ordered Steak and one of us ordered Cannelloni. Steak came as Pasta and Cannelloni came with a 'hint' of mincemeat but mainly pasta in a mush of tomatoes and cheese. Waitress insisted and argued that my Dad had ordered the Penn Special and not the Steak Special. He didn't and wouldn't as he doesn't even like pasta. She agreed she would bring a steak and asked if he wanted chips or potatoes with it. He asked for chips; he got potatoes.
5. A full bill was put on the table and after talking to a waitress we asked to see the manager who was purposely keeping out of the way. He informed us it was our own fault and the waitress was new. He was reasonably discussing it at first but then when £50 was given towards the cost of a terrible meal and service he came back with attitude and was aggressive. We were told not to come back and he swore at us. After 15 years of going there we've never really had to complain, but now I know how it will be ignored and the customer will get the blame we will not ever be using it again.
This is a cosy little restaurant that gave great service and food. Good variety on the menu that suited all age groups for the family meal. Everyone agrees that they would visit again
This was our first time at the restaurant , We were in quite early 18.45 and were the only couple in there for the first hour, however the staff and food were excellent and would recommend the restaurant fore sure. Obviously very quiet in there for a Friday night as only a further 8 people arrived whilst we were there for a meal.So in essence food was top draw just a shame there were so few people in ther, buit would go again for sure.
Superb food, the only small issue is that the tables are really close together Although I understand they have to get as many covers as possible
Staff very pleasant,but priorities seem to be on take aways,which when you have a limited time to eat you may find your meal has to be rushed.My party didnt have time for desert or coffee. Will still eat here as food is excellent, but will have to choose between starter or desert in future.
