Excellent meal, great service with attentive staff always topping up glasses etc without interfering. Knowledgeable about food and drink available. Loved being in view of kitchen and seeing it all run. Food was impressive and couldn’t fault any of it. Thank you

Good food, some dishes outstanding whilst others just ok. Good atmosphere and service. Very expensive overall - more than most other Bristol restaurants of a similar quality. Bill for 2 people was £250, and we did not order an excessive amount (and only a couple of drinks). Very good food, but not particularly good value for money.

We had our wedding anniversary meal and we really enjoyed it. We had the menu di giorno and everything single dish was excellent. Flavours are amazing and the value is really good. Worth mentioning our waitress, Nunzia, who made us felt really comfortable and feeling like we were in Italy! Grazie mille! We can't wait to go back!

Food was absolutely fantastic. Staff very friendly. Seats were extremely uncomfortable (reason we left as soon as we finished our food) Once restaurant was full, got quite load as tables were very close together

We were disappointed. We went expecting fantastic food and some of it was but some was just not that good. The service did not gel with us, maybe cos looked after by 4 different people. The menu is in Italian with no explanations which means lots of googling and lots of questions which is a hassle; plus the menu layout is so confusing the waitress has to have a spiel to explain what it is going on. Overall, disappointing and over-priced.

Another epic experience from the “Peter Sanchez” dynasty of restauranting. I have been to the previous Michelin star restaurant (Casamia) many times but this was the first trip to the new Casa. And I genuinely think I enjoyed this restaurant experience as much, if not more. The standard of the food is always first in class. The service has the perfect balance of attentiveness and then leaving you to enjoy your food. It looked superb inside. As it was a Saturday night then was a nice buzz in the place but nothing over the top. I genuinely have no constructive feedback or negatives. Just go and eat there - I will be back soon!!!!!!

We went for the three-course early evening menu and it was really stunning. If you have a big appetite they (rightly) recommend you have an extra supplementary dish. I didn't need it and felt stuffed, but I had gnocchi. Whereas my husband left a little bit peckish still. They really know their cooking these people.

Very mixed feelings. We have visited for my birthday celebration but left with very bitter taste from the service received. Food was absolutely wonderful apart from the steak florentine which we did not enjoy at all. We have told our waiter about the unusual taste of the meat but we were just being patronized in response, not even a genuine apology. Overall the attitude of all staff was very patronizing and quite intimidating.

I thought the food was quite nice, e.g. the wild mushroom garganelli was delicious, but the decor and service were just standard. Paco is a lot better and the food was more exquisite.

First time at ‘Casa’ although have been to Casamia a few times in the past, completely different vibe - more relaxed, funky and vibrant. Seated at the bar area, not the best - no privacy and very busy although we did get moved to a table as soon as one became available. We decided to go for the chefs choice which was superb, our only criticism would be the main dish, not quite chicken Milanese with leek gratinato, the combination of the two dishes was extremely salty so couldn’t finish this course. The Panna Cotta and Tiramisu were just divine! Overall a wonderful experience.

For my birthday meal, 7 of us, had the chefs choice menu - and loved the fact we didn't have to make any decisions about the food. All of it was fabulous. Top notch service too, really well looked after. I love music too, but had to ask twice to turn it down because we couldn't hear the opposite side of the table when talking, the only blemish on an otherwise faultless night.

Nice setting and food but overall there were too many let downs in my opinion. We were sat in front of the kitchen … which is always fun. But this time the chefs appeared stressed and a little bit of vacuuming was also done. Which did dim the ambiance in my opinion. But the most concerning part of being sat in front of the kitchen was I was able to see how the chef was plating up the food. I had told staff multiple times that I have a severe allergy. And after watching the head chef directly touch food containing the allergy and then go on to directly touch the food that was then served to me is really concerning. I understand eating out I take it at my own risk of contamination with my allergy. But it is so disappointing that after mentioning it several times, that a slip up like this was not prevented. After sending the food back explaining to the waitress I was not comfortable eating it, a new one was on its way. But in the meantime the chef never came to apologise and I just do not think it is acceptable for a restaurant particularly of this standard to make mistakes like this especially when it comes to allergies.

Managed to get a booking for the menu del giorno on a Saturday just before the cutoff at 18:30. Fantastic value for money, very attentive and friendly service, a lovely setting and great atmosphere. The food was excellent - we had the focaccia with aubergine dip, fried semolina with Parmesan (extra charge but sooo worth it!), chicken, garlic and sides of leek gratin and a side salad followed by a tiramisu ice cream cake. Everything was delicious!

Probably the best value set lunch menu I have had . Amazing service and delicious food . Will be retuning very soon for more of the same . Loved the fact that you could mix and match with the A La Carte menu . A wonderful lunch .

I've wanted to eat here for a long time, so the early evening menu offer really appealed to me, and it was a real treat. Everything was exceptional. The service, and the food. If you go, be sure to order the Semolina Parmesan... It is incredible. I loved it all.

Simply the best meal we’ve had in Bristol. Went for the Chefs Choice as struggling to decide on courses. Each plate was fantastic and in the end we really couldn’t decide which one was the best as all such high quality. Not cheap, particularly the wine (cheapest bottle £37), but an excellent experience. Good value for the high quality of the food. Relaxed atmosphere and attentive, but not excessively so, staff. Highly recommended, as an experience and for special occasions.

Crazy good meal, the whole vibe of the place is on point. Every interaction with each member of the team was perfect, all super friendly and genuine. One of the best overall restaurant experiences we’ve had in years. The food was all unreal, hands down best caponata I’ve ever had, scallop was amazingly fresh and delicate and the pastas were all unreal, the layers of flavour in the ragu were incredible. All the details of the restaurant were subtle, simple but absolute quality, 100/10
