I designed the place a relaxed, soothing and cozy. Customers, whether kids or adults loved to stay for hours; enjoying the ambiance. Food are cook from scratced. Food requests done 1-2 days ahead. Prepayment is requested/No refunds after we ordered ingredients to vendors or butcher

This is a laid-back, comfortable, informal restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted by our very friendly waitress. She immediately asked if this was our first visit. It was. She then pointed to a wall and told us that the menu was written on a chalkboard on that wall. As we looked at the menu she explained that the food was all prepared with fresh, ingredients, many of which were organic and locally grown. Once seated, our party of four chose a bottle of wine, from a list. None of the wines on the list were familiar to us so we took a chance and ordered something none of us had tried before. The wine was ok; very drinkable but nothing special. We were then served some tapenade, which was delicious. The bread that was served with it was warm. As an appetizer, we ordered the arancini, which were delicious, as was the sauce that came with them. We all ordered a pasta dish as our main course. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered; one dish was with the porcini mushrooms, one was the Bolognese, the third was with the red clam sauce and I had the Amatriciana. No one had desert or coffee. The chalkboard menu stated something to the effect that good food is not cheap and that's absolutely true. The food is very good but it did not come at a bargain price.

Amazing caccio e pepe, burata, aranchini, and tiramisu! I love the atmosphere here. Truly a wonderful neighborhood restaurant, even if you don’t live in the neighborhood!

We were looking forward to eating dinner there after reading most of the reviews. Well, we were very disappointed. I had pasta with clams and although the clams were plentiful, the dish was tasteless. Also, on their website the price is $22 for this dish, but I paid $35 (blackboard price). The eggplant Parmesan was not great either and for $30. We don’t mind paying the price, but it just wasn’t worth it. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired also. Just not worth it.

Thank you for coming in. Unfortunately, checked the claimed price of $22 clams you're saying is'nt there. It's always been $35 for almost 3 years. You're the first to claim that you didnt like the pasta with clams after 45 years. The organic eggplant an American dish that you just dip in eggs cant get any better but with fresh homemade sauce that 40 people ate that night. Are you sure it's the same restaurant that you went too? If shopping everyday and cooking fresh isnt worth any? Emilia

I was expecting a higher standard of service and ambiance than is provided at this restaurant, especially since my spouse and I were celebrating a special occasion that evening. I was drawn to this restaurant primarily by the rave reviews about the food quality, and we enjoy authentic Italian food. I should have paid closer attention.
This restaurant has a very rustic decor, let's say. Paper covered the tables and only paper napkins. No menus, instead there is a large blackboard wall with all the menu items listed. Our greeter pointed towards a table for us located against this menu wall. We couldn't read all the menu from our table. No one read the menu items to us, or made any food suggestions, or offered any descriptions of items to us. She suggested that we take a picture of the wall in order to view it on our phones more easily. Then she told us we would have to wait because she had to take an order at another table first. We sat patiently for about 10 minutes until I asked someone else for some water at the table. Shortly after, glasses, a jar of water and some bread, olives and caponata were delivered.
The lady returned to take our order, just like you'd expect at the neighborhood diner. We had decided to share the burrata appetizer which included two lumps of burrata, a few slices of prosciutto, and garnished with some leafy greens for $25. It was good.
For entree we each ordered the tagliatelle pasta in a lobster bisque sauce with lobster meat and shrimp, $38 for each. The large portion of tagliatelle pasta was made at the restaurant. It was firm, tasty and held up perfectly in the sauce. The bisque was creamy, and full of lobster flavor but the lobster meat was only from the claws. Kinda skimpy, and only 3 small small butterfly shrimp.
A nice bottle of Falanghina with this dinner was $40. We decided against dessert.
The final bill with 20% tip amounted to $179.07. Overall, the food was good, but the service and the ambiance were disappointing.

Thank you much for coming in on Valentines night! And for patiently waiting for 10mins. We had people who complained that we rushed them when we take the orders or gets the food pronto. The Maine red lobster is an expensive meat no imitation crab meat to make up the price or super size it like Mc Donald's. The trattoria was already mentioned in Newspapers re: paper napkins, and mats3.5stars. We spend more time and money on the expensive & high end Gentile Pasta.

This is the third time my wife and I have gone to this restaurant. Each time we go we are greeted by the owner Amelia and her husband with a warm welcome as this restaurant is family owned. They take great pride in the quality of all their food which is second to none. Each time we go to Florida now we make sure that we stop at Casareccio’s for our best dinner of the week.

We knew going in that it would be expensive, however, the overall quality of the dishes does not equate to the price. The service was disjointed- at times they were rushing us, other times ignoring us. Empty glasses of wine when entrees delivered, empty plates at end while we sat and waited. The ambiance was not enjoyable. Regulars crowding our table while they chatted with each other was extremely rude and annoying. A woman’s backside in our face for over 5 minutes while trying to eat. The tables are so close together that it is impossible to avoid. There is a musty smell when you enter the restaurant. There are so many Italian restaurants in South Florida, this one is a hard pass for a re-visit.

That's how we run!AGAIN THERES NO WAITERS. We GET OUR PREMIUM products FR ITALY, cook serve AS U ORDER! But if you dont want that just bec we have an old building. I'M NOT SORRY!GOD knows how we keep the place clean everything &passHealth inspection. We didnt ask you to stay, walkin so you can judge us just bc We cant afford to move

Their motto is “Good food is not cheap and cheap food is not good”. Food was not good and not cheap! If Nonna was in the kitchen, the gravy (sauce) would never have been allowed to leave the kitchen. Needed to cook much longer from a real Nonna! Very disappointing.

Great family run place with Home cooked specialties like a grandma from Italy prepared for you.
They don’t rush you and food takes time to be prepared fresh so relax have some wine and don’t watch the clock.

An awesome surprise after pulling up to this not so attractive storefront establishment. The owner greeted us at the door and things only get better. The branzino was the best I’ve had and the pasta rivaled my favorite restaurant on Arthur Avenue. Looking forward to going back.

We are always on the lookout for small and quaint places to eat. I noticed that many parties that came in the night we were there had previously been at Casareccio and were greeted warmly upon their return. It is a bit expensive but the food is outstanding. The service was excellent. The menu changes so one would not get bored going there several times to eat. The wine list is limited but adequate. The pasta was cooked perfectly and everything tasted fresh.

We we warmly welcomed and seated immediately as per our reservation. The menu was written on the blackboard~ much to choose from! We had 2 apps a bottle of wine and 4 dinners (there were 4 of us) everything was delicious~ as one friend said , the best brenzino he ever ate!!!! We highly recommend this quaint authentic restaurant!!! A hidden treasure♥️

Very friendly. Delicious, authentic food. Nice variety of dishes. Don’t go if you’re in a hurry. There is one chef and one waitress (owners). They have several bussers. The wait is worth it. You can bring your own bottle of wine, corkage fee is $15.

Nice wines, friendly service and great food. From the caponata and bread that appeared on the table, to the fried calamari and burata and prosciutto, to the pastas and chicken parmigiana, everything was excellent quality, and beautifully prepared. Desserts were homemade and delicious as well. We sampled the papardelle and amatriciana pastas, both were delicious . Owners were friendly and fun.

Food like your Italian Nonna would make! Excellent and special. A little pricey but you get what you pay for - fresh, quality, made to order. Menu changes daily. I’ve been twice now and loved both experiences.
