Great food, good service and good value for money. Definitely recommend.
It was another monthly, family get together where we try somewhere new. It looked like a promising venue.
On arrival we were surprised by the lack of parking as it was unexpected but it wasn’t a reflection on our visit. It’s a small, but lovely village style pub/bistro and being small it creates a pretty good atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and helpful but unfortunately service became surprisingly slow. There were a number of times where we felt forgotten after waiting for 20 minutes and had to go to the bar ourselves to order drinks, request menus etc...
The food was different to the online menus so that threw us a little, and the mention of steaks on there website had completely vanished on the printed menus. Then the items we tried to order were unavailable. The food was ok, it wasn’t amazing but it did the job. My wife ordered the seafood platter which she left two thirds of as she said it wasn’t nice at all, and the burgers that our two boys had were very average and clearly not homemade but they were the only real negatives.
Lovely Sunday lunch at Catts, even won in the meat draw!
