great Food , but service very slow , thanks for all
Great food as usual. The service was great and they brought over a celebratory dessert for my dad as he got a new job
Delicious food in a beautiful but bustling setting. Not great for a quiet evening but the live music was a definite positive for us. We were tucked away at the back so service was a little slow at times, particularly getting drinks. The food was just amazing, expensive but worth it.
Monday night extremely loud music playing and the bars packed out Open plan restaurant impossible to have a conversation either with another guest or with the charming waiters.
Staff are all so helpful and accommodating, especially of dietary requirements!
A wonderful venue to eat at. However, we went for breakfast (4 colleagues). Three dishes sent back because they were cold - Eggs Benedicts - maitre'd suggested eggs get cold very quickly! Perhaps then, dishes shouldn't be left on the pass for 10 minutes!
Beautiful food, staff very helpful, very enjoyable , good afternoon and very near to the tube station
Food was delicious!! Will definitely be back soon!
I had lobster linguine it was very salty . Husband had crab ravioli said it was ok . For dessert I had pistachio tart tasteless. Our server was a gem of a boy very polite and attentive. Loved the atmosphere in restaurant just not great food choices. We would definitely go back and order something different next time.
My girlfriend and I went out to celebrate her birthday. Food was excellent and service was great but not too over the top. Loved the vibe of this place in the evening, low lights and the jazz band playing. Can’t wait to go back
Great ambiance alongside great food = a great meal. This was a business meal and a great time was had by all. We finished off with a nightcap at the bar which went down a treat alongside the live music!
Food was delicious, Roberto was a great server and made great recommendations. Highly recommend the cacio e pepe!
We really enjoyed our lunch at Cecconi’s, service was great, food was delicious. The only let down was the pasta dish we had was quite bland, but the buffet and pizzas were fabulous. Drinks were quite expensive however. I loved that Cecconi’s is in its own separate section, made it very cosy.
Amazing food and incredible ambience! Very good value for money as well! However, a bit too noisy. Service could have also been better (all waiters were very polite but they seemed a bit unorganised). Would definitely recommend and come back though!
Belated birthday dinner for my son who had never been to The Ned before.
Best restaurant at the Ned, very attentive staff even on a busy Friday evening. Lobster pasta delicious!
Bowl shaped Champagne glasses not welcomed, prefer flutes instead...
The food what was frankly terrible - pasta was clumped together, over cooked and luke warm, felt like it had been warmed up in a micro wave! The noise with the band in the Ned foyer was so loud very difficult to hear the person next too you, so suggest if you are looking for a restaurant where you want to chat a lot this is not the one - will not be returning!
Unfortunately, there was no life music during our meal. Usually the music is one of the big draws of the place
Staff got the order wrong which meant my meal came out after everyone else had finished, and they forgot our sides so we cancelled, but were there with friends so was a lovely evening anyway.
food was nice but some of the dishes were quite small for a larger appetite. noisy from the main bar so no good if you were going somewhere romantic but good for a laugh with friends
It was a v noisy Saturday and the surrounding environment took over occasion as there was a loud jazz band playing in main area which certainly made chatting pretty tricky. Would recommend ceccons again but the one in Burlington Gardens.
Have visited several of these and the decor and menu certainly are as expected. Food v good.
The service was totally rushed and pretty much ruined things for us. Starters out before even managed to taste the aperitif and the main were waiting at table side while one in the party finished his starter. Then attempted to take mains when one plate not finished. Felt like a dash through a tube station at rush hour.
This was all late into evening when no change of turning the table again. It did however prevent further sales as would happily have ordered wine with dinner had it not been so rushed and would have ordered dessert and coffees / liqueurs but had had enough by then!
Hopefully you a one off as am a big fan of the places usually.
Amazing venue, setting and ambience but average Italian food with a big price tag. Would recommend getting a drink and head somewhere else for dinner!
Booked The Ned for dinner as I 'd heard about the Sunday Brunch menu. This particular night there was a live band playing (not sure if this is normally every night?) in what used to be the middle of the banking hall. Luckily myself & 2 girlfriends were seated as far away from the band as was possible to be, as otherwise we would not have been able to hear each other.....or the waiting staff!
Despite this the staff were very good, attentive & knowledgeable but not fussing too much. Food was lovely but perhaps a bit expensive even for London prices. Would we go again - probably yes but I would check first if there was a live band!
Great food and wine, terrific service ... ridiculously loud.. literally had to shout across the table due to band playing in middle of Ned hall. Really took the shine off the experience. Not a place for conversation... shame that’s what you go out with friends for....
Loud. Had to scream. Tables crammed together and misses the ambiance of the Mayfair location.
The Sunday feast food was fabulous and great value for money would thoroughly recommend.
I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary and had a great time. Food was fantastic, ambience beautiful with very good Jazz Band. I would recommend as a starter the chef selection, which was great value for money. It was a burrata with a mix of salamis and toasts. Super generous portion and decent price. The main course was a bit on the high price but it was good too. Profiteroles were delicious! Great wine, I will be coming back.
I was disappointed with the service.
I had called up two days prior to organise a dessert to come out as a surprise as it was a friends 30th. We were sitting for ages to anything to be brought over after we had finished our mains. I got up to ask two different members of staff when it would be brought over which kind of ruined the surprise.
It’s came 35 minutes after and by that time we were ready to go home.
So slightly disappointed with this happening.
Amazing service, venue and food!
Amazing, food, venue and service! Great buzz! Would defo come again!
Food was decent, poor choice of puddings. It can be hard to hear one another with the bands playing. For the price, there is much better options available in London.
Wait staff were nice enough, but the wrong food was delivered to two of our party and had to be replaced and the portions are abysmally small for what is paid.
Great food great service and really good ambiance
On Tuesday I visited the Ned with my dear friend and we both like the ambience. So classy and nice people.
We ate at Cecconi’s and the food was great! Although I would have made the vitello tonnato sauce less dense to eat.
But overall great experience and will surely be back.
Loud live music playing throughout the evening which made it almost impossible to have a sensible conversation during dinner. Completely ruined the whole evening
Excellent food and very helpful service. The crab ravioli was especially tasty. But probably slightly overpriced.
Very beautiful grand restaurant in Ned Hotel. Good entertaining and very nice buzz. Can be very noisy. Excellent tasty Italian classics.
Service could be improved - waitress lent over people to clear table etc. Tables are very close together - not really what you expect for what you pay for. Food is good, but quite expensive compared to other restaurants in London.
Lovely Lunch in a beautiful building. So nice to see an old building renovated and put to great use. Food and service is excellent and so nice to have live music on a Saturday lunchtime. Looking forward to returning soon
