Delightful way to spend an evening . Impeccable attentive service
food was outstanding, Sunday swing music was amazing, as its a 2 hour slot big groups are slightly
rushed, will go again.
Great ambience and service. Spectacular venue. The Ned is one stunning building and at Xmas it is even more special
Food was cold and had to be sent back. Eggs were undercooked (transparant, white and runny egg white)
Great vibe, quick service
We were early but were seated quickly. We were then rushed through our meal and told that they needed our table back for the next sitting. Our table reservation was for 7.15pm and we were being asked to leave our table- twice before 8.25pm! They rushed to clear crockery whilst some of our party were still eating and we still had drinks to finish. When I highlighted this to the manager on his second visit to our table, he came back to say that he'd managed to move some tables around so we could stay. I said as my reservation wasn't until 7.15pm they wouldn't have had another sitting at our table anyway. I was made to feel as though he was doing me a favour! Not the standard I have come to expect from Cecconis and I won't be going back to the city branch - the Mayfair one is far superior.
Music can be a bit too loud but overall a good place
Perfect spot for an upbeat mood - delicious menu, great cocktails and an excellent selection of wines. Smart, elegant, impressive venue, Cecconi’s is ideal for a fun or formal occasion.
Slow service and they kept forgetting to bring small things like parmesan with pasta until 10 min later. Music not great and quite loud on a Monday.
Just because you smile and say sorry it’s not acceptable to be 15 minutes late with the table. You did give us a bottle of house champagne to say sorry but very much gave the impression that because it’s The Ned it’s ok. It’s not!
Would have been a 5 star review across the board otherwise.
Place is nice as well.as the atmosphere - avoid if you are looking for a quite dinner. A bit overpriced and I was not impressed by the food. I had the risotto and squid. Service was good
I am a regular at Cecconis and use it for meeting clients for breakfast. It is a convenient spot and to date has been good but I have noticed the quality of service deteriorating and this week was particularly poor. There were too few staff on duty, so no one covering the check in desk, impossible to get the waitress’ attention for more coffees etc and similarly impossible to get the bill, so we had to get up and pay at the bar and then ask the poor barman for our coats. It seems a classic case of a restaurant management sitting on their laurels and taking their customers for granted which is usually fatal in the v competitive London market. Hopefully we will see a turnaround soon!
Great atmosphere, good food, expensive but service lets it down. I spent £500 at a late lunch for two so I was not particularly impressed at being moved on so that the table was free for the dinner service!
Great food and a lovely atmosphere, my friends dish was wrong but the rectified the situation quickly and took the cost of the dish off the bill which was kind of them.
It took quite a long time to get the attention of the waiter for the bill but other than that the food and service was great and I would defiantly return again!
We enjoyed a late Sunday night meal at Cecconi in the NED. Lovely atmosphere with the band playing in the centre of the ground floor.
Service wasn’t great, lady serving us left us seated for 15/20 minutes without saying a word. We had never been to the brunch so didn’t know how it worked. After us looking confused she eventually came over. Was also serving others water, however didn’t serve us anyway. Food wasn’t all that, not much option considering it was an unlimited brunch. Quite disappointed
Lovely setting and ambience. We were really looking forward to brunch.
Food was average. Cold when served. Sides late.
Shocking service!!! Delays, errors, lack of knowledge & attention, poor timing. I will not be going back at all.
Great service by all staff!
Lovely surprise “anniversary desert” served after dinner.
Attention to detail and cost is second to none
Booked Cecconi’s for one of my birthday meals after my husband visited the private member’s club and a friend said I would love The Ned. I really loved the Ned’s ambience and band and general feel. The food was delicious and drinks great...I got a special dessert too as it was my birthday. I would rate the service as very good. I would thoroughly recommend dining at Cecconi’s and I will be back...
Had the most fabulous lunch with fantastic service. Really great place to go and celebrate or just hang out with friends and family and enjoy delicious food and amazing cocktails.
Very bad noise level - impossible to talk together. However - fantastic building, great music, but you should do something about the noise level.
The venue, food and ambience were great and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The only thing that dampened my evening was the reception I received at Millie's Lounge. The lady was talking to a gentleman at the desk was quite abrupt and rude when I asked about where to go for the reception at Cecconi's. All in all I would visit Cecconi's again as overall it was a great night as I was with my God-daughter celebrating her 30th birthday and we both had a fantastic time.
Set in The Ned the restaurant is overpowered by the live band making it impossible to have a conversation, service ok but food no better than average & the tiny portions are not worthy of the hefty price tag unfortunately.
The service and food was outstanding in Cecconi’s. Unfortunately, the bouncers/security staff were extremely rude in the actual bar area of The Ned & due to this I will not be going to The Ned ever again. I cannot believe how obnoxious a certain security man was, it was very upsetting.
Great ambiance and setting is amazing. Was a good lunchtime buzz. Diverse menu to choose from, although we found the food a bit salty.
Service for the price was not up to the mark. It was a business lunch. Though the restaurant was not busy, they took a long time to take the drinks order. No bread was served and I asked for it. They said it's on its way, but the bread never arrived. Food was good though
Service was great until we wanted to pay the bill, impossible to get someone’s attention. The burrata was incredible
The food was outstanding, i had the lobster linguine and it was some of the best i've ever had. Would go back just to eat that. The service was a bit slow, it was clearly a busy time for the place but we were kept waiting 20 mins before we got the menu and then had to rush and finish our desserts as the table had to be given to the next customer. Overall good.
Very good food and ambiance during our visit... rather frustratingly we were asked if we wanted a dessert several times and we said we’d wait a bit as we weren’t in a hurry... to then be told they needed the table back in 10 minutes with no prior indication that we only had a 2 hr booking
Impressive when you walk in for the first time. Food was good, service was good but a bit slow. It is a nice place to take friends who were visiting London for the day.
Has the potential to be a nice location but the food was average and the service very poor - wrong food delivered, then looked surprised when we asked for what had been ordered rather than just accepting the wrong order. Pretty hopeless and devoid of any focus on good service.
Off putting to be told without receptionist looking up ;
We need your table back by 2.
Not very welcoming. I won’t be back
Sunday Feast at Cecconis - a most enjoyable afternoon. The food was well presented and tasted as good as it looked. It was well worth the money. Staff were friendly; the whole atmosphere was busy and buzzy; the live music was good; no one rushed us from the table. No complaints and we would happily go again.
Excellent moment. Perfect place, service, food, and looking for your comfort.
Great food, portions were small for the mail meal however, the desserts were decently sized!
Would go again though.
The service was appalling.
One asked for a salad with main course. Never arrived
Asked for a cookie with coffee. Told not a problem. Never arrived
Service was surly slow and not good
Gorgeous place with live jazz.
The food was very nice.
Friendly staffs and really great vibes
Way too loud. Tables so close together I was practically sitting at the next table
First visit Lovely Food Great Service and great
