Superb food - could have easily eaten a larger portion.
Service was perfect, and made my sisters birthday very special.
Food was fresh and simply presented. It was fine, except the salmon on lentils and chickpeas literally was a beautifully cooked piece of salmon on what looked and tasted like baby food. Not good. However meatballs was a tasty generous portion. Just a forgettable experience. Overpriced I would say.
The food & service was outstanding. They really made it feel special!
We waited a while to get our drinks order taken and had to chase for it. I was also given the incorrect whiskey price - apart from that it was a lovely evening with good food, good company, good ambience, great live music and a lovely spot at the bar to end the evening!
Had a lovely meal. Great atmosphere, vegan and gluten-free options!
Wonderful food atmosphere and service. Felt like royalty
Food was better than expected and the live band added to the occasion! Would highly recommend
Outstanding service and super tasty food! The staff were brilliant and the ambience with the band makes life feel relatively normal for what it is now!
Starting with the positive. Service was first class. But, we felt uncomfortable as tables were too close together and we were surrounded by people who were clearly not from the same households.
Suggest the chefs at Cecconi’s try the Zucchini Fritti at The Ivy. The Zucchini Fritti we were served was soggy and greasy. Food was under seasoned and 2 salt mills later we gave up trying to season it ourselves!
We visited Kaia at The Ned a few weeks ago and that was a much better experience.
Amazing food and atmosphere and felt super safe in these crazy times
A bit concerned with the social distancing when sat at a table.
Love it here! Set inside the gorgeous Ned hotel. Lovely food, outstanding service. Just a shame it was so quiet due to Covid, sad times.... but it didn’t spoil my birthday lunch!
Just rubbish . Lobster spaghetti was chewy hard linguine threatened with a few miserable lumps of what could have been anything . Dover sole was swimming in what tasted like vegetable soup . Asked for mash only had roast potatoes. Asked for green vegetable only had spinach . Noisy , lacking atmosphere . Was like eating a meal behind screens in an exhibition centre. Two glasses of white wine , a Martini , starters of Borata was pathetic , Vitello Tunata was tastelsss. Altogether a thoroughly miserable experience and for £176 in these times I felt like we’d been mugged . My chair cushion was incredibly uncomfortable and my coffee tasted like it had been scraped off the bottom of a farmers old shoe
Appalling dining experience
Lovely restaurant, I had the lobster linguine but pasta was very very under cooked. It was bordering on hard with a crunch. I didn’t eat it but waiter did ask if I didn’t like it. I just explained I wasn’t feeling very hungry as had lovely starter.
We dined at Cecconi's at the Ned on the weekend and had a wonderful time. The environment/vibe was 10/10 - a lovely romantic restaurant with great food. We had the burrata and mussels to start, and then the lobster linguine and beef tartare for the main. Just when we were leaving, a magician was approaching the tables for some dinner entertainment. Can't wait to return!
Very good atmosphere. Service was slow. Cocktails great.
Great restaurant in an impressive setting.
We had our anniversary dinner with my boyfriend and it was lovely! Thank you for bringing as a Happy Anniversary dessert :)
The place is great and the staff also! but the food was not good at all
Having visited the sister restaurant in Mayfair many times I’m afraid that Cecconi’s at The Ned is a let down. The service was not great. Our main course was brought to the table when my partner had gone to visit the rest room....poor. We were told at 9:10 that the bar was closing, this can’t be helped due to the current restrictions but were asked at 9:35 whether we would like dessert and when we asked for coffee were told that we couldn’t as the bar was closed. This was rectified by one of the floor managers but again very poor on the waiters part.
The food was average and certainly not to the standards set by the Mayfair restaurant in my opinion.
Although the live band at The Ned is a nice touch, it was way too loud and I found myself shouting to be heard.
I would not return sadly.
Love the setting at The Ned - it’s so lovely in there and it was a treat to have live music. Quite a let down was the food as it was average at best and I was expecting something really special. Also my fiancé asked for the chefs recommendation and it was just a huge chicken schnitzel on the plate with nothing else which was a real shame.
Very tasty simple good. Pricey but the great venue does make up
This was my second time visiting this restaurant in the ned. The first time I didn’t have a good experience with bad services and cold food, however this time I really enjoyed it. The service was excellent - our waitress was very helpful and spot on with wine and food choices.
We shared the burrata, arancini balls and zucchini fries to start. The burrata was very good. My main- the pork and truffle pasta and tiramisu for dessert was my favourite.
Food wasn’t hot it came and was just warm. Visited this Cecconi’s to celebrate a birthday. when ordering the desert i asked if they could maybe write happy birthday or something nice and the waiter said yes and when the desert came it was just 2 scoops of ice cream.
It was great place to have dinner great wine and food.
Perfect for a special occasion, amazing food and the most amazing building to look at while you eat! There was live music and a magician for entertainment which was such a nice touch that you don't find often these days. Would 100% visit again.
Such amazing service, delicious food and the most amazing service from every waiting staff!
Can’t fault this place, love it
Can’t beat The Ned and Cecconi’s for ambience, service and delicious food and drink!
We had to keep asking for our drinks which came all at different times. The food was nice but portions were so small wasn’t filling at all. Also left our empty plates on the table for a good 15 minutes after we’d finished. Just felt forgotten about to be honest. Not sure I’d go back. Other Ned restaurants are way better and more attentive.
Had lunch here with my husband on my birthday and we were well looked after. The waiter came out with a dessert with Happy Birthday engraved on the plate - lovely touch. Food was lovely and great, friendly service. All covid friendly.
Great atmosphere. Lovely live concert. The food I was not at all excited about. Everything tasted very mediocre
Was advised we could not sit at a table for five for coffee beforehand despite available chairs - not a good start . Then when two of us agreed to g to the table early we were told they needed the table back at 2.30pm . If we had been given tea in Millie’s then there was no need for any confusion !!! Spent £700 on a good lunch . Everyone was happy but there was a lack of personality from staff who were “ working in instructions” rather than common sense . Despite attending a wedding here . Dining regularly and socialising with Kirsty and her husband Nick Jones and their Scottish family I was not impressed in these difficult times when I expected more , Fraser Smith
Everything you would need for an outstanding evening. Excellent setting, perfect ambience and superb food. The live entertainment topped the night off. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Ned and in particular Cecconis to anyone.
Service was superb and the food was amazing. The live music creates a fabulous atmosphere and the table magician was great fun!
Amazing food and atmosphere. I loved the live music and we experienced a great service. 10/10
Food was good, service was great. Only criticism would be they name a menu “all day menu” which we chose from but was then told we could only order from the brunch. Should be made clearer when booking that you can only order from the brunch menu and rename the “all day menu” as it’s anything but!
service amazing! Staff couldn’t do enough for us! Can’t wait to go back!
Cecconi's in the city is lovely. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend.
